Indie Comics Spotlight: Paradox Girl

Each week on Indie Comic Spotlight Tony Farina of DC Comics News will be joined by other comic aficionados to do a deep dive into a series or standalone graphic novel from any publisher other than the big two. This week, Tony is joined by the hosts of Recorded Tomorrow Jonathan Liu and Jesse Ferguson. The book we are covering this week is Top Cow’s Paradox Girl Written by Cayti Elle Bourquin with art from Yishan Li. In 2016, Cayti and Yishan with some help from Hanako games launched a Kickstarter to get Paradox Girl off the ground. I was sadly not one of the supporters as I missed that launch. The good news was they met their goals and PG was eventually picked up by Top Cow, a division of Image Comics in May of 2019 when the first six issues were released. PG is a woman out of time and space. She lives in Cityoplis, works with Axiom Man and has a love for an outdated banana flavored waffle, Waffos.
