In this World not of it

In John 17 Jesus prays to the Father about his disciples. He's concerned about them being protected without him here anymore and prays protection over them and that even though they are in this world that they are not of this world.  This is such a beautiful depiction of Jesus' love for us and it's amazing how this mirrors the love and concern we have for our children as they get older and are no longer around us all the time.  We have pray as Jesus did for their protection and let that rope out little by little. In this candid episode I share my heart on what God convicted me about in this area and how I have to let go in increments to teach my children how to be "in this world but not of it".  I hope this episode encourages you as well and we can all learn to trust God with our kids together as they grow up in this very dark world.  May they be a light and a beacon for Jesus!
