Ilia Stambler

On Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 1 p.m. U.S. Pacific Time, the U.S. Transhumanist Party will stream its Virtual Enlightenment Salon with Dr. Ilia Stambler, focusing on his new two-part article, “Reductionism and Holism in the History of Aging and Longevity Research: Does the Whole Have Parts?” The conversation also delves into Dr. Stambler’s other recent longevity activism endeavors and thoughts on the current state of longevity advocacy. Ilia Stambler, PhD, is Chief Science Officer and Chairman of Vetek (Hebrew for "Seniority") – the Movement for Longevity and Quality of Life (also known as the Israeli Longevity Alliance). He received his PhD at the Department of Science, Technology and Society, Bar Ilan University, Israel. His research has focused on the historical and social implications of aging and life-extension research. He is also involved in mathematical modeling of aging and aging-related diseases.
