Join us by my right hand man, Dan Swanson. Dan, how are you on this Friday afternoon? Doing great. We're back to real football in a little bit more than 24 hours. We've got our first taste. We saw a few things against an FCS opponent last week. The SEC is coming to town and it should be a good time. We saw things versus Idaho, but did we really see things versus Idaho?

2:05Oh, yeah, look. The youths did exactly what they were supposed to do. They were supposed to beat the crap out of an FCS team. That's what really good FPS teams do is they beat the crap out of the teams from the lower level. Were they perfect? Not by any stretch of the imagination, were they perfect? But we did learn some things. We saw some things in terms of what this offense is going to look like. We saw some things in terms of what this defense is going to look like. Some of them are going to translate to Arkansas and other teams that we see deeper down into the schedule. But more than anything is just a good opportunity for the youths to get the rust knockout. And to get at it again and look, they know that the degree of difficulty goes up significantly from a week ago. And there's the old cliche about teams they tend to improve the most between week one and week two. And I don't know how true that actually is, but we're going to see some nice things I think out of this team.

3:06And we're going to see some things solidify. We, there were a couple of guys that were out on the offensive line that look, we haven't heard anything official, but I wouldn't be surprised if we saw them back in the lineup so that the offensive line can get short up. We have a pretty good idea of what's going to happen on the defensive line. And I, I think that you're going to see the rotations tighten quite a bit from what we saw last week. But overall, we know some things about this team. They've got a great quarterback room. They've got a very solid wide receiver room. They've got a fantastic running back room. And they've got athletes at the secondary. They're going to be hard to throw on like they were last year. And yeah, there's that's a lot to build on for a football team. Well, I think also like. We just had the news break a couple of like probably like an hour ago, Daniel Braze and cleared, he'll be back for you taught this weekend after getting that concussion early last week or early and last week's game. So there's also that added wrinkle because Bra only played three snaps.

4:07What is his full potential look like on this Utah offense because of the three plays we saw him. It was two jet sweeps and I just have a gut feeling that there's probably more to the brave package than just that. Like, it feels like there has to be. Yeah, absolutely. Look, the thing that Daniel Brae brings to this team is, well, first and foremost speed. He's one of the fastest guys on the team. The two or three fastest guys on the team and there are some speedsters that have some amazing track times on this team. And so the speed is something that can't be ignored. He's also got amazing hands. We saw that all spring. We saw that in a little bit of practice that we saw in the fall. And so he's a guy that can be a weapon in the run game in the option game in the throw game. If they run some sort of RPO thing, there's a lot of different things that the youths can do with Brae. And so yeah, if he's healthy and ready to go, I do think that we're going to see a lot of him and Wei Sean and Breyer are going to split a lot of reps.

5:08We'll see some some packages where we see them on the field at the same time. And it's going to force Arkansas to really think hard about the way that they're defending things because he's got to be accounted for. And it's one of the things that I love the most about this team is the versatile weapons that you see. So there's the semi semi-Talongas of the world that you can't just think that he's only going to be an extra blocker. They're going to do some things with him in the receiving game. They might hand him the ball. Wei Sean, we know what he can do as a runner and a receiver. We know that what what Ficklin can do is a runner in a pass or what damn Peter can do is a runner in a pass or we know 100 Andrews can do as a runner and a receiver. And so the fact they've got so many guys that are so athletic that are so versatile that they can give different looks. What it really does is it puts pressure on this Arkansas defense to do the right thing and make the right decision. And so the fact that it's going to be in a hostile territory and a hostile crowd and it's going to be harder for them to communicate and the fact that it's going to be late at night for them.

6:17And when they need to be sharp, it's it really bodes well for the youth. So the fact that they've got a guy like Bray and that he's going to be back is it just I think it bodes really well for this offense. And frankly, you know, looking back at the Idaho game, I think the most important thing that we saw was you looked at the game from especially with Devon Damper. No mistakes at all that I saw no mistakes in the option game, no bad decisions, no real mistakes in the passing game, the few incompletions that he had were balls that were actually caught. They just weren't caught in bounds. So they were on the boundary and they were in a place where the receiver could get them and they just couldn't quite come down to them or come down with the football. The fact that Damper is playing at a high level already and you know he's going to be ready for this game. The fact that they've got all those weapons, that's that's the thing that I like the most about what we saw last week and how it might translate to this week.

7:23Well, and I think the other thing with last week is the fact that outside of Bray. When we got in and out of that one with nothing substantial, no substantial injuries. That's a big thing and if like I know a couple weeks ago before the season started, people asked us like, what do we think Morgan's philosophy is going to be on, you know, blow out games like Wednesday pulling the starters. I think we got a good glimpse at that last week, you know, if you're looking at the snap counts. Dev plays 45 bird plays 33 rose plays eight and you know those 33 snaps at bird play like some of them were with Dev on this on the field at the same time, but a majority of them were happening, you know, after half time. And so there's that you have Wayshawn only playing 36 snaps and then you know Steve Lamarcus and Matiyaki had the mo like had all had multiple after that so it's like you're starting to see the. The pecking order and like what what we think at least or giving it getting idea of what Morgan will do in these situations where it's a blowout.

8:27I did find it very interesting that Devon and Braden Pagan played the exact same number of snaps at 45. I found that very interesting from last week. Yeah and look I think that I like the rotations and what we saw out of those I think we saw some interesting things that in terms of rotation on the offensive line and that was a game where you talk and get away with it look there's no Keith Olson he's a guy that we expected to be a starter we expect to be a leader. And to really have a breakout season for this team and and we didn't see him at all we of course didn't see I Garcia who has been competing for time and is the guy that I expected to be kind of the sixth guy or the first guy off the bench either him or or oba depending on on how that battle with to a moe I went to at left garden so we did see some interesting rotations on on the offensive line and I think that we've got a much better idea of the pecking order. Look, Zerway Williams Al Harris and those guys have their spots locked in I think said Jefferson did enough to I think solidify himself at right tackle although we're going to need to see what Garcia brings to the table when he can get back on the field and and so and I liked what we saw to oba I liked what we saw at a Reese Parmins or they they weren't perfect and it's funny like people have been looking at the pf grades and and in the low 60s and they're like oh they're terrible and people you got understand the pf grade of six.

9:53A pf grade of 60 means that you were playing slightly above average meaning you're better than the median you're better than the mean and so a 60 grade does not mean you suck eggs it means that you had a you were winning about six out of every 10 reps and making a difference six out of every 10 reps and so that that's good enough to make this offense go especially with the playmakers they have. Well, and you see said said's path run blocking grade was a 72.9. Yeah, he was the best run blocker of the group now we had some pretty elite pass block a pass blocking and and and those are a little bit easier I think for the pf folks to grade but look Zerway Williams played really really well in pass pro toe emot I played really really well in pass pro which is funny because he's a guy that I consider more of a road grader like better that better with the run block and so we saw some good thing. And look they're going to have their their work cut out for him this this week but we definitely saw some things that I like now I think people would have liked to have seen them be more dominant or more this or that and I get that but for a line where you're replacing every single starter where four of those guys are basically on NFL rosters I don't know that you could have asked for more.

11:14Well, and I think the other thing is like with Keith specifically I know a lot of people were were dogging on Al and his grade okay I get it in past pro he had a 46.1 in run block he had a 64.3 okay his run blocking grade was great his past pro grade needs work okay I understand that and I agree but if we really want to think about it if keep with when Keith gets back out there that is going to take some of the pressure off of Alex because Alex knows what you're doing. Alex knows what Keith is going to do they've been playing on the two line for what two three years now at this point he knows Alex knows what Keith's going to do and Keith knows what Al is going to do and so I think that's going to take some of that pressure off Alex I'm that's and that's not me trying to say that Roger Alderman is not a great player like I think Roger can slide into a starting role next year depending on how this year goes I think Roger has all all of the things you want to see from an interior by offensive lineman in the city. I think that's going to be a great opportunity to use offense but when Keith gets out there I think honestly that will just help everything up it'll sure everything up it'll sure up that interior of that line add in the fact that way Sean knows what Keith's going to do and how Keith blocks and how he pulls and stuff it's just going to lead to a better overall performance for everyone on this offense.

12:33I think the best offensive line that this team has got when assuming everybody is healthy and ready to go it's it's zero way to Al Keith and said because that's what we saw you know we haven't seen I like at all and so you can't really say that and I'm pretty comfortable with that offensive line lineup if those guys are healthy and yes look I love the fact that that Roger Alderman got the snaps that he got the reason Parminer got the snaps that he got and that those guys have been stepping up. Look they got a lot of play last last year in terms of when you would ask some of the seniors that or you when you'd ask Spencer or Kayla you know who's who are the young guys up and coming that that you should pay attention to or fans should know they Roger and Reese were often the first names that they would name and so and you know we knew about Keith because he was playing a lot and to was playing a lot and so it's not a surprise that they they came out and they played relatively well.

13:33And look they they weren't overwhelmingly dominant and I'm not trying to say that but I'm also anybody that says that they played poorly you got to go back and watch it again they did not play poorly they they were they were slightly above average and frankly that's all you time needs right now is a slightly above average now if they can translate that performance to this week against Arkansas. Then I think this team is really cooking because of course the athletes will be facing are much better and frankly there's only there's only one player on the Arkansas team and I know that we're going to get to that in a minute but there's only one player on the offensive team that scares me and that's Quincy Roads Jr who is one of the best defensive lineman in the country and is a load and it's going to be really interesting to see how how Utah defense him we see him a lot in the end. Yeah exactly he's been banged up we'll see if he's actually healthy but if he's healthy he is a guy that can make a difference and can make things hard on the UTS but and and is somebody that is formidable probably maybe even the best defensive lineman leads will face all year and so but back to my original point if if the UTS can be like what we saw out of out of this offensive line out of Idaho and that can translate they can step up their game and have similar performance.

14:52Newitating tireless and long hour seconds because you know dumb sheets has a long eyebrance against better athletes this offense is still going to come they're going to score points in it's gonna make life really difficult for the razorbacks and also on the point of this offensive line played poorly. point four yards per carry does not institute a bad offensive line in my book. Maybe I'm just like up in the night. Maybe I'm crazy. Maybe I've just taken too many soccer balls to the head or something like that. But that doesn't scream terrible offensive line to me. Like yeah, I know Devon took some unnecessary hits, but a lot of it Devon took the blame for. He said that he needs to be better at the protection. That this is not on the guys. This is on him. Well, and it's funny because a lot of those hits that Dev took, they weren't counted as hurries. No, they were after the ball was out of his hands. Yeah, exactly. So it's, uh, yeah, it's they played really well in past per I thought they kept the pocket largely clean. They picked up

15:56let's is when they happened. And I'd hope to what didn't, you know, I'd hope did they committed a lot to stopping the run. They did not commit a lot to a to pass to to blitzing in the past game. And that was smart in their in their to their credit that given the disparity of talent, blitzing was not a good idea because Dev would have picked that apart all night. I mean, picked them apart anyway. But yeah, they know sacks. I think two or three pressures was all that that was credited from a pf perspective. And so we'll go off of that because that's the number that we've got to work with. But they played fair. Yes, Dev took a few hits, but they played fairly clean in past protection and to your point, they didn't get the dominant runs and that there were a few run stuffs. And once again, Idaho was committing to stopping the run. They were committing seven eight guys to that line of scrimmage, especially when they were, we're expecting the run. And they still got seven something per carry and seven four. So what's that? Seven point four. So

16:58they're eight yards. Yeah, Sam has got the stat sheet in front of her. I don't you can tell, but yeah, it's the the line play was fine. And look, if even if that yards per carry line goes down, if you, if you're averaging, if the youth's average seven point four yards per carry throughout the entire season and throw the ball like they did, they're going to college football playoff. They're going, they're going to go into feed and win the big 12 if they do all those things. I'm not saying they're going to, but that that's just how good this offense can be if you get that kind of production out of the line. If the youths can get 4.5 to five yards per carry against Arkansas, it's going to be a long night for Arkansas. Well, on the on also on that rushing thing, as I'm looking at the stop broadcast, you have ways. So Lamarcus had a long of 34. Wayshawn had a long of 21 bird had a long of 32. Steve had a long of 15. Dev had a long of 10. Matyaki had a long of 14 hunter had a long of 13 and Braden had a long of 12. So those are all considered chunk

18:06plays. Anything greater than 10 yards is considered a chunk play. So if you have at least what was that like? So let's say seven chunk rushing plays. Again, I don't think that's an offensive line, like offensive line is poor. And yes, I know Bradens came on a little like fly sweep situation. So there wasn't really much the offensive line was doing in that situation. But still like you are getting it done through big on the ground. Devon was not sacked. Bird was not sacked. Brandon Rose was not sacked. Even though Brandon didn't like attempt to pass, he still was not sacked. Yeah, and frankly, his numbers would have been better, but he had the fumble. Oh, yeah, his his PFF grade got bottomed because of that. Um, one like Dev 13 of 18 176 three touchdowns 72% completion percentage and a rating of 209.4. And Morgan talked about how the QBR, the QB rating is something that he looks at. And that's a really good QBR for for Dev. Whereas you look at what would did

19:10over on the other side 9 of 20 9 of 27 for 111, one interception, a 33% completion percentage and 60, a grade of 60. Yeah. So yeah, um, defensively, I want to talk about the fact that we're seeing more of that NASCAR defense that 3D that 3 linebacker set. Um, I think we've kind of figured that we would see some sort of form of multiple linebackers considering the depth they have in the talent. But I was very surprised that Elijah Ellis got the start over Cyrus Paulu in that third linebacker spot last week. I mean, I wasn't he's a little bit more experienced. And frankly, they they were doing some things with him in the past rush that were fairly interesting. He look Ellis was one of the lower graded PFF guys. He had two missed tackles. The team only missed

20:10three tackles on the whole night. And two of them were Ellis. And one of them was was the sack that Tillman missed out on. And it's funny. I think that if and I know I'm switching subjects, we'll go back to that whole linebacker conversation. But had Tillman actually executed on that sack, I think that Utah fans would feel a lot better about about the defensive performance. They had, you know, I do have the one drive in the second quarter where they got a couple of third down conversions. They got the 14 yard run from the one running back who had a pretty good game. I mean, look, he wasn't dominant, but he had a pretty solid game. And then they didn't really do anything other than that drive where Tillman misses the sack. And then of course, there's a big play and then there's the big touchdown run on when the defensive end didn't have contained on the quarterbacks cramble. And so I think that Utah fans would feel a lot better had Utah just given up the seven points and that sack been completed. But the fact that I think they fixed the

21:12mix a lot of the mistackle issues that we saw last year. But to your point from a linebacker perspective, I thought we saw not dominant, but solid linebacker play. They were, John O'Plaid really well in run defense and that and he was graded highly for that. Tray had the interception on the third play of the game and did a lot of what we saw out of him last year. I thought that he closed off the season really well last year. And we saw that again. They did not play neither John O'Nour Tray a lot of reps. I think that they wanted to save those guys. And I think that that was smart. So we saw a lot of Cyrus. We saw a lot of Elijah. We saw a lot of Brock for Neumawana. And I think that Elijah had a couple of tough plays where he was graded poorly. But I think that that both Cyrus and Elijah, they made a couple of small mistakes, but they played relatively well. And we saw from the linebackers about what we can expect. There were some interesting things

22:15that were happening on that defensive line rotation, especially in the detacles. Things that I didn't expect to see at all. And so that was interesting. And I'm very curious to see how tight that rotation gets against Arkansas and what that personnel looks like, whether they're rotating one or two in at a time and all of that. But yeah, from a linebacker perspective, I thought that they played about as I expected. I think that this is a good linebacker crew for the youths. I don't know that there is a dominant linebacker room. And I love the fact that they have a chance to prove me wrong. Well, on the tackling note, it's so confusing because one PFF says Utah has three missed tackles. And then another PFF said that Utah had six missed tackles. So I'm just like, it was single digits. I think is the the big overarching thing is like considering last year, there was games where Utah is in the 20s. Like single digits is big progress. And I understand that like

23:16it's Arkansas or it's Idaho because Arkansas last week versus North Alabama, fours 13 missed tackles, six on receiving plays, seven on rushing plays. These are big razor back to fat like offensive players, which we'll get into in a little bit. But I want to see what this number looks like against, you know, competition is going to be comparable in size and skill set to what you're going to see in the big 12. Because Chris Marshall, the widers, the third, they're one of their best wide receivers. He's a big dude. He is big. He accounted for majority of the missed tackles on in the receiving game. And if I remember correctly. So we're going to see if the if the tackling situation has been actually rectified. I tend to think it it will be just because of what we saw last week, because I think if it was still bad, I think the cracks would have started to show versus Idaho. But again, that's just me speculating. Yeah, well, and look, the one, the big one that I'm

24:16harping on it's this is that is a mobile quarterback. He's he is good at escaping and he's done that certainly did it last year and he he'd done it in the week prior. So it's not the strangest thing in the world that if when the youths get home in the quarterback this week, they're going to need to finish finish the play. I think that's going to be really important. But yeah, I liked what I saw from a tackling perspective. I thought we saw better technique. I thought we saw guys playing at more full speed and and and and it paid off. Look, they've done a ton of work on it. They did they did a lot of work in the spring. They did a lot of work over the summer and the offseason workouts. They did a lot of work in the in the fall. And it was a point of emphasis. And I I just I liked what I saw in that department. Now Arkansas is a completely different animal. If we see similar to what we saw against Idaho, then this Utah defense should do well. And

25:18then look, I yes, there's athletes on this off Arkansas offense. I didn't see anything against directional Alabama that that scared me. And in fact, look, they're offensive line. They're big. They're athletic. They're SEC offensive lineman. But they're not all SEC offensive line. They're those tackles. Yeah, well, and look, they're their coach. He talked about it. He talked about how he's going to have a short short leash for both the left tackle and the right tackle. And if they don't play, they're putting the backups in. And so if if I'm Lance holds claw, if I'm if I'm Ethan Day, I'm if I'm cash Dylan, I'm loving hearing that kind of thing. And my job is to get that starter out as soon as possible because he's on skates all night. Well, and like I broke down in the the names to know earlier this week, like these we're talking really we're talking about Arkansas now at this point. I think we've kind of kai Bosch Idaho and we've already moved on to

26:22Arkansas at this point. But these, especially the Joker Johnson, the outside corner. If Braden Pagan runs the Chris Brouts that we saw last week, this week, Joker's also going to get put on skates. Like he is a middle of the pack corner. Like he played it to lane last year. And I can't remember how many missed tackles he had. But if you're having missed tackles in the AAC, what is going to happen when you're playing big boy football in the big 12 and the SEC? Like that's something that like really is interesting to me. Just seeing what they're like. And I know I know that he could have improved as a tackler. But it still is something that's kind of sitting in the back of my mind is how can Braden not only from a hype perspective because he 6'3 and Johnson's only 6'4. How can he beat him from a hype perspective? How can he beat him from a technical perspective as well? Yeah, one look, we we were talking to somebody during fall camp and

27:26they were describing the offense to us in a way that because we couldn't see everything and they compared Pagan to Cooper Cup who and seeing him play in a game that comparison made a lot of sense to me. I still look I wrote about it earlier this week that that WhipRout that he ran against Idaho was one of the best routes I've seen from a college football player in the last couple of years. And if you don't know what a WhipRout is, basically what it is is it looks like a slant so they're breaking in to the slant to try to get the corner to bite on it and then they they sink down into their hips and they break out towards the sideline like as if it were an out and it's it's a difficult route to run it requires precise footwork if you're going to sell it. Like everybody can run a sloppy WhipRout but to run it as precisely as Pagan did it requires a lot of body control it requires awesome hips and he just that that that corner bit so hard on the slant Pagan left him in the dust

28:28and gets the easy easy touchdown and yeah it was a short short yardage play but it was about as perfect it perfectly executed that's type of route as I've seen in a long long time and and we saw that all all the time we saw that pretty consistently with Pagan he can high point the football he look he runs well he jumps well he looks like an NFL receiver and he's not the only one that that can play we saw Creed Whitimore do some pretty great things we saw Ricky had some good catches Ricky had some good catches touchdown Larry had a couple of nice moments and and I do think that that we're going to see a situation where there's going to be an opportunity for different receivers to step up as teams game plan I bet you anything the Arkansas is going to game plan for Pagan and seeing well well let's stop this guy enforce everybody else to beat us and and luckily for Utah that that should still work in their favor you know they're going to learn right and so yeah to your

29:29point I think that I'm higher on on Arkansas's corners than you are and they greeted out fairly well for that game they I look I liked Arkansas's defense they weren't perfect but I I thought they had really active linebackers I really like the kid that transferred from West Virginia that D line was whatever but I did like the backs the the back seven in in Arkansas's defense and I and I think that they're good enough enough athletes that they're going to make plays against the UTI if you if you think that they're that they're just going to lie down and and let Utah walk all over I mean you've got another thing coming it just it's not going to happen and so uh so I I do I yeah I'm higher on them than you are Sammy but to your point Utah's got weapons and they're going to have to be sharp like they they're it's going to be interesting the couple of things that I'm thinking about when I think about especially that matchup between the receivers and the corners number one is how physical is the officiating going to allow the cornerback play to be

30:34and that goes for both sides of the ball Arkansas's got some big wide receivers they've got some big bodies some good athletes and Utah's got big corners and they like to be physical and they will grab and they will they will knock you around and how much of that are it will be officiating allow and how much of it will they allow Arkansas to do to Utah and um if they allow a physical game like that like like a typical big 12 game where you know they wouldn't know a passionate appearance if it you know bit him in the groin it I think that maybe favors Arkansas a little bit in that regard but um but yeah I it's going to be really interesting to see how they match up and and what Utah can do to them if pagan has another big game with with joker lining up against him that only says good things about what his prospects are not only for the rest of the season but come NFL draft time well and the one of the bigger things that stands out to me about you know

31:35these Arkansas corners is latent fourth quarter all the starters are still in Xavier Johnson of North Alabama he ran just he did a little stutter step just a little and then went on a slant and he sent the Arkansas corner into the ground on just a little stutter step and it led to a 59 yard reception he was wide open in the middle of the field he got hit and stride and he he literally had to just beat the safety and he could have housed it but instead like he got shoved out of bounds if pagan and rickie who are two of the guys I think have the crispest footwork on this team if the two of them even do half of that with the little like a stutter step and just go type thing I wouldn't be shocked to see some Arkansas corners on the ground and and I just I just have this gut feeling that we're probably that my my opinion I have a gut feeling we're gonna see a big performance from the the wide receivers on Saturday yeah I

32:41I think that I think you're probably right um yeah there's a lot there's a lot there's a lot of reason there there are a lot of things to like about the way that this Utah offense matches up against Arkansas I think that the concerns will remain the same the concerns will be offensive lines so can if if they can continue to keep a clean pocket for damp urine ficklin um I do think that there's enough talent and there are enough weapons and there's enough speed to make Arkansas pay especially if they make mistakes that can amplify small mistakes that are made I look I'm not expecting a blowout win at all I think I think uh what that I've seen different spreads as low as nine and a half tept to 12 and a half and I think that like 13 points is about if I if I had to pick a margin it would be that and I think it's gonna be like pulling the way at the end

33:4113 it's gonna be competitive for at least the first two if not the first three quarters before before the night gets to the razor back so that's kind of the way that I'm looking at it uh and people may not like that may not like hearing that that they may worry about what that means for the long term prospects of the Utah at the end of the day all that matters is the W I don't care how they get there but I do think that there is opportunity here for this Utah offense the receivers in particular and and dampere and or ficklin in particular to show the country some things and show what they're made of I I liked the game plan that we saw in out of Idaho from from given and and it's funny because he just called the game like they didn't do anything wacky they didn't do anything like we saw a few interesting combinations from a player personnel perspective we saw the the one trick play right that uh where that they did the back with the backward pass to ficklin and then ficklin through it and uh was it an over throw I forget

34:44the over the thing about bird I think bird was very excited on Thursday because he had so much juice and so much zip on almost every single one of those balls he threw he was throwing at the receivers as if they had insulted his mama before the game like the zip that he had on the ball good night I you know no way know how anybody is going to intercept that because it's going to burn a hole through their hand well it's just like what he threw what are you trying to get mana in the back of the end zone on that fourth down and he threw it six feet above mana's head in about 45 miles an hour I was like oh yeah yeah that that yeah bird bird was amped and you could tell and when he settled down look in that jump pass that caught the world of flame in terms of social media some people wondering is it AI right I love that um yeah but that like he yeah birds got a cannon man he he needs to to learn to to rain that in just a little bit on on occasion and so we might see

37:55and Elijah down as the defensive ends yeah well and and and look that interception was 100% Cyrus breathing down the quarterback's neck and and and look they they made woods life uncomfortable all night long and I loved that I look I love the number of pressures they got yes people would have liked them to have gotten home on more at least one more sack right maybe two um I would have loved to see one of the ends land one is what in addition to to to tillie getting his right especially and I felt bad for tillie in that mistackle I've mentioned it like six times and I'm I'm such a fan of him as a player and his potential look we're gonna see plenty of him this year next year is when when next year is like this come spring I'm gonna I'm gonna be just you know shouting from the bullhorn this it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's silly time yeah it's tillie time it's Nate Tillman breakout season time because I I just I'm so bullish on who he is as a human who he is as a player and what his potential looks like like there's a reason that they're trying to get

40:05like I don't know illegal touching he called legal touching on Idaho which could not have possibly happened well and like Josh Burlund was trying to explain it to us in the box like middle of the third quarter first and foremost I was so out of it at that point I was like starting to crash and then I was also trying to like write at the same time it was just a lot so Josh tried to explain it to us I can't remember what the full explanation was that he got but yeah illegal touching on a punts is a thing it's not called very often but it is a thing and I I don't know why that was the call I don't know why like Morgan talked about it Manna got away with one but look he didn't um he didn't get benched for that Morgan calmly talked to him on the sidelines like it was a learning moment and it's like it takes me back to spring um we had an opportunity to sit down with the coaches and with coach Scalian particular and and talk a little bit about scheme

41:06and philosophy and stuff like that and on the the the locker room wall and I geez I took a picture of it and I'm not because I'm not going to remember what it says but it it talks about they talk a lot about like owning your mistakes and accountability for your mistakes and learning from them like no understanding that you're not perfect you're not going to be perfect and when you have a learning moment like be able to understand the why behind what like what what what did you do like what was the decision that you made why did you make the decision why did you go about it the way that you did and what are you going to do to change it and and that's kind of it's it's ingrained into that whole rs and b culture right so when they talk about being relentless they're also talking about being relentless in the pursuit of being excellent of getting better and that means being humble enough to admit your mistakes and being intelligent enough to identify why they were and so I love the

42:06fact that look tillie is going to have his learning moment on that and is he going to miss a tackle again of course he is he plays safety that's what they do but um but you know is mona gonna muff a punt again well I hope not but it's possible it's it's probably the toughest thing to do in football in my opinion is to field puns with people coming at you like that but but the fact that these guys they're young guys they're gonna have an opportunity to learn they're gonna have an opportunity to grow and and there's a teaching moment and we see it in the offensive line room too Jordan gross like just watching him all spring and all fall every chance I got and if there's a question like he gets down he wears cleats to practice I don't know if people know this he wears cleats to practice so that he can get down and show guys what it looks like like he can go out there and still play and still play at a high level but um the way that they teach and the way that they instruct is is such a breath of fresh air uh you know we the the the the the question was asked in

43:09in the in the the the scrum with Morgan on Tuesday about bloody Tuesday which is what they used to call the the practices especially after a loss right where they they would get after it um and Morgan would talk yes your Tuesday practice is gonna be your most physical because that's when you're installing the run game when you're installing the run defense uh they there's some some necessities that are there that require physicality but bloody Tuesday is is not a thing at Utah football and and nor should it be a thing and and I think that some of that is the instruction and the being able to grow from mistakes and and so I just love how they handled that that whole game and it makes me excited to see what happens in game two how much sharper are they in game two than they were in game one um I was trying to find that picture because I'm pretty sure I sent it to you also but I could not find it so I'll let you I'll talk while you do that but I think uh uh learning moments I think are are a good thing especially when you look at the veteran nature of this

44:11team um obviously you're gonna be replacing more pro most more than likely both of your starting safety is in the season because I just have a feeling that Jackson Benny's on like this crash course to being an early declaration for the NFL despite Arkansas fans saying that he is the weakest link on this Utah defense and that Jackson Benny is yeah the guy that's on the first draft the first round draft boards right yeah yeah he's the weak link he's the weak link off the defense and you have to throw the ball at him because he's not good in coverage and I said oh yeah let's throw the guy who had four interceptions last year like let's do that I guess I guess down in those parts you know no one ball because it just means more right by the way Stammy I do have that that that picture if I to go if we want to go back yeah go for it so it's it look this isn't a film room in in the Utah facility there's a a big sign it says the get better mindset so building a skill takes time and effort I will invest the time and be tenaciously persistent I understand that discomfort is part of the process I love that I love that I cannot express how much I love that

45:16I if I avoid discomfort I prevent learning I will make mistakes and they will teach me and I want feedback and coaching and look that that is as much a part of the culture of this program is anything else and look um that under the prior regime um you know it uh when they get extra seconds they would you know teach things but but it was uh it extra she said me just gave me the air quotes extra seconds give me a second no I I'm I'm just here for the extra second joke so I'm really excited I've made a couple I've made a couple already I made one on with Spence yesterday too yeah if you give me a second I'll appreciate what Michigan football has to offer um there was one that I saw where it was like a golf one it was like I missed I messed up my first t-shot one of my partners threw me an extra ball said take a Michigan and then I and then I smacked it right down the fairway and I thought that was the funniest thing

46:19that take a Michigan oh that other chefs kiss good someone also on Twitter said the next time I show up to work late I'm just gonna tell my boss that there's a super secret clock the he doesn't know about that actually says I'm on time oh man oh yeah um thank goodness for for their sakes thank goodness for J.J.B. you can and had they not been able to poach him Michigan would have been in trouble because I don't think they got a receiver on that roster that would have made that catch other than him but that's another story that's another thing altogether but no look of course you know there was instruction that was going on well before Morgan Scally this isn't new but I just love that the the the way that they go about it um you know you don't need to it's unnecessary to demean somebody look if they keep doing the same thing over and over and over again

47:19and they're not going to get it into their thick heads that this needs to change or it's their rear end that's one thing but like there's a different style there's a different method in the coaching and these guys get coached hard but it's funny like when you watch practice luther super positive uh uh in ok coach nooks super positive look he is the quietest guy when you talk to him like he doesn't bring a lot of energy to the table and but when he's coaching like he's he is pays attention to the details he like he brings it when he's on the field we we've talked about coach gross um coach atwaya like look Morgan was the screamer of the group when before he was became head coach and and and atwaya is definitely atwayan Shah they're the voices that you hear um and they'll get after it but even they don't like uh look they have a high a high standard but they don't they don't tear down like not you don't tear down to try and build up like that's not what they do

48:24yeah they they they will tear down bad habits they will tear down bad attitudes um but they won't make it personal uh and and so and and that whole mindset that whole thing that i read off about there's gonna be discomfort and it is it's uncomfortable getting your mistakes pointed out and and having to explain it and it's for your benefit and it is how you get better and i just love i love that that's what's uh what's going on here and and and so Idaho like going now getting the train back on the track where it's supposed to be that we saw a lot of that we saw small mistakes Idaho we didn't see anything dumb like there was the one holding penalty which i did not agree with is on will money um bottom doubt is great yeah frankly it it really did frankly had money been wearing the same color gloves as the Idaho jerseys um he wouldn't have gotten called for it basically his hand was on the outside of the shoulder pad and that's why he got called for it but it was so it was so like in the line that it didn't really impact the player not it was it was the touchdown

49:28the scs ran for the steve chavis so sodo ran for and uh they called got called back and so wash on it's like well i can do that too and and they basically called about the same play and and wait that was it right but um but that was the the the lone penalty of the game that we didn't see fall starts we didn't see the lay of games we didn't see any messiness getting guys on and off the field either on offense or on defense like the mistakes that we saw were small things that uh there were a couple of times where Idaho guys ran free because of decisions that were made like Benny his his grade dipped from a pff perspective because of basically two past plays where he made decisions to undercut which left a guy open i don't not necessarily think that that was a fair grade or not but um things that that he'll learn and and that he'll do differently maybe next time but uh overall it was a clean game and i mean that's what you want to see and so can can they do it again can they do it again with better athletes yep um i just like there wasn't

50:33anything in this game last week that kept me up late that night like there wasn't something that i was driving home from the stadium at oh at 12 30 in the morning and it was just replaying in my brain over and over and over like for the most part it was we were in we were out and it was it was it was the game yeah yeah i look i wasn't even worried about the times where receivers might have been running free like some of that was by design when you're bringing that many guys the the doesn't matter if there's a wide open receiver sometimes if the quarterback can cannot physically get the ball out um and it bit the use twice once was the missak that it wouldn't have bit bit them on and it turned into the big past play and the other one was the uh um it didn't even bite the use it was a drop pass it could have been a big play but it was a drop pass so uh where the guy was wide open but but by and large i look it's it's it's the risk reward thing of the play call and so um it's going to be really interesting to see look they they saw a

51:36steady diet of blitzing from all over the place uh on film and Arkansas is probably going to prepare for for that so is is what what you know what kind of meal is swan gonna serve up on Saturday that's gonna that's the thing i'm really curious about that yeah i the thing with swan that was really interesting is obviously we talked about the nathcar package and stuff like that but i think also just just truly how much pressure he dialed up like i was honestly when we entered the game i was expecting base defense with an occasional blitz here or there i did not expect the sheer amount of pressures that we saw like rabbit evans his foam recovery was a designated in a design safety blitz like the only reason why he's where he is and he's able to jump on that football is because he was being sent to sack him like like we said trade interception is because Cyrus was coming off the edge like there was a lot of things that were very interesting like they

52:37sent the safeties more on blitzes than i thought they would have i'm just waiting i'm just waiting for the eli read corner blitz because i know that it's probably gonna come at some point oh yeah well and on top of that so you know we talked about so some of the things they did from a personal perspective with the linebackers but the same look they had a three safety look most of the night and so they had been sometimes at free safety most of the time at nickel um and then they had rabbit and Nate in there or or tilly in there look Nate Nate Nate played Nate Richie played more snaps than anybody else on defense and and was kind of the this this straw that stirred the drink i thought he had a really good game um and and that's that's a good sign look if if Nate Richie is playing really solid football and and look he was playing good football last year just tackles were an issue and he didn't miss any tackles against Idaho and and he had opportunity so it's it's not

53:38like he didn't do anything and was never around the ball like he was running to the ball running through the ball he executed the tackles and he too he had a pretty decent pf grade if i remember correctly it wasn't lights out but uh but that three safety look allows the defense to do some interesting things and because Benny is so good in coverage because rabbit can do some interesting things in coverage it's i i really like the versatility that it gives gives this Utah team and especially when you go up against the team like Arkansas where they've got big wide receivers or physical guys it's you can bring that that three safety look and and look scally talked about it before the season they they did it a few years ago with uh was uh who was it RJ Hubert uh uh Valky was Valky and and and cobishop and cobishop that's right yeah and and and that was really really effective and so they're and they're doing it again and it's something that uh that uh Arkansas is going to have to account for but i i love what we saw there um love what we saw the dns um detacles is the one

54:46question mark that i have when Carson kathousi was on the field great things happened um the some of the rotations uh were better than others i thought but it was interesting to see um see some of the reps that some of the guys got and and and and and you know when what was who was it it was uh it was poopoo and um mic tatioli yeah tatioli uh that uh and by the way mic tatioli i don't know that he is i don't know that there's a player on this uta raster that i respect more his story and his journey to uta football and the fact that he's got a scholarship now is is awesome look he played at alta high school he was not really heavily recruited by anybody um he went on his mission um i forget where he went he told me uh it's but he went on his mission he got bigger he bulked up he grew a couple inches and he came back and he basically like while he was on his

55:46mission he decided i'm gonna try football again and he went and he basically trained for a year and then enrolled in school and in an open tryout made a spot on the team uh which like that's that doesn't happen you know it's it's a rudy type story uh only without the embellishments so um but uh yeah so i it's awesome that he was getting reps and and and look that the detacles weren't as good with when when it was tatioli and poopoo it wasn't as good as when it was jai and and Carson and so it's gonna be interesting to see how that tightens up it's gonna be interesting to see how much lucas gets on because he was the fifth guy um jam very very shocked that lucas only played 16 snaps very shocked by that yeah um and and look and some of these guys might be banged up too like i we don't know we we don't know the exactly what the injury situation is but uh i'm i'm very curious to see what that detacle rotation is gonna look like against our concern and how well do

56:50they do um and you know and how heavy a load do we see out of jian Carson especially i've got a lot of confidence in jian Carson and what they what they bring to the table i really really liked what i saw out of both of them and they only played what 15 16 snaps Carson 17 jai 14 yep yeah so just they they weren't on the field a lot but they were impactful when they were and so i'm excited to see what that looks like one semi and cione also played for defensive tackle snaps uh that's right yeah all right we we got our our rhinos on the defensive side which i got to push them for the Paul Hornig people have been begging for that they're like they recruited his defensive tackles why don't they playing defensive tackle because when they came in defensive tackle room was not they didn't need it they weren't needed yeah um but uh going back to Nate richy really fast a 41 total snaps overall grade of six seven and uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh

57:52ah anyways nevermind um i was trying to put a blank stare for me uh i know what you're talking about it took me a minute i don't have youngsters in my house anymore so i just know it because my little brothers are obsessed with it um one thing about Jackson Benny that i think needs to be acknowledged also is he was not called on a single pass rush play last week um whereas if you look at what he did last year like he was sent out on a pass rush not frequently but like there was a couple of design pass rush plays for him last year i think he had what 16 total pressures for qb hits 12 herries so it's like when's the Jackson Benny blitz coming that's another thing that we need to realize and will the blitz come from the nickel or will it come from this like centerfield yeah i mean and it's a good point and so it's gonna yeah i'm i'm really curious

58:57and and really it's funny just with Arkansas in general there's just a lot of curiosity we saw we got we got a taste against Idaho uh it was uh it was satisfying to an extent um and but we're ready for the the main course right and and this week feels like the main course so so how how back to my my restaurant analogies right um how good is the meal gonna be and and and what's it gonna look like like what are the components and and to your point you know how is Benny gonna be used how is uh look scubi scubi didn't play a lot of snaps against Idaho you i didn't either nope and so we we saw a lot more bobo a lot more um jc mario and frankly i think we're gonna see a lot of jc this week as well because if if an opponent's gonna try it out a big receiver you're gonna see a lot of jc heart he's he is physical and fast and he's playing a role that they're um that they're asking him to play and and uh so i that there there's something specific

1:10:32i mean yeah that's super real and look some of the worst offenders right like uh like uh the the pig bus crew like they talk smack like crazy and they will treat you so well if you visit them uh in the tailgate and look the tailgate look it's we know it's a different animal in Utah than it is like nobody's we're not claiming anything other than the fact that we think that that you know our team is going to be your team uh in the the the the royal r versus the royal your that um but uh yeah it's uh in terms like in terms of like the time of the night like look there's a lot that's been made of of the the time of the day that it's being played uh the altitude and yeah it's only 3,000 feet when you compare where where the University of Arkansas is versus the University of Utah but it that that matters later in the game like when it's fourth quarter and guys were digging deep and they're puffing and puffing and what's the score and yeah and really

1:11:33like what's the score like if if Arkansas is up two touchdowns on the euths in the the beginning of the fourth quarter and they do the moment of loudness and and half the stadium is gone or sad then it's like yeah of course the altitude's not going to matter um but if it's a tight game if it's a game where you need to be sharp where you need to make the play where you need to dig deep it's it's just a little bit tougher you know and and so that's what that looks like but is it going to be the deciding factor probably not it's still going to be the the jimmies and joes and exes knows stories and and and it's i'm really really curious about what Utah does from an exes and exes and no standpoints and i think that they've got the personnel to stand toe to toe with these guys if not if not put out a superior team well the other thing and i know that i was getting i did tweet out that Ryan Silverfield said that the altitude is not going to be that much of an issue and i know that i have gotten quite a lot of uh comments on that tweet both positive and negative

1:12:34from that tweet and i admit that you know i just found i did find it interesting that he's just like yeah it's not an issue type thing when we have proof of a team like florida who said the same thing and then they came into salt lake and by the end of the fourth court by middle end of the third beginning of the fourth they were huffin and puffin no amount of sprints that you run in the off season is going to help that like that's not what this is like and so i'm not saying it's going to be like a primary factor of this game but it's something that needs to be in the back of people's minds because it has always been in the back of people's minds like that was always the big thing with Utah and with Wyoming even back when i was little i remember in the mountain west days people would talk about you know the altitude at Utah the altitude at Wyoming the altitude at Colorado when we were in the pack well now and then we're in the pack 12 with them so it's just one of those things that at least for me it always sits in the back of my mind i don't try and make it the primary point but it is something that needs to be acknowledged and to say that it's not going to be a big issue

1:15:37thirty one twenty four you taught and i know that that i just i just said earlier that uh that i'd expected or thirty four twenty four we'll make it ten point i i i don't think the i i don't think that spreads unreasonable but um yeah i just there's something in the back of my head that and maybe it's the fact that we didn't see Keith Olson last week maybe it's the fact that you know we we haven't really you know you know maybe it's the fact we don't know what the status of Quincy Rhodes is um he i like he is a guy that can i think single handedly make a difference in this game especially you know if if if we knew that he was healthy um and we were super comfortable with what was happening on the uta offensive line um i think that i'd be a little bit more comfortable with it but yeah thirty four twenty four i think is is reasonable i the the the things that you're looking for out of this uta team and that you want to see that translate from Idaho to the next week so third down conversion defense uh is

1:16:42probably number one uh they they did an amazing job again and look they were good all year last year at getting teams off of the field on third down and uh to the point where it would just annoy the hell out of me when people'd be like third in school it's like you you're leading the conference and your top ten in the nation and third down efficiency defense and they give up one and like you lose your mind you know you freaking cry baby knock it off and i think we saw third and swan last on the board last week and i think it was a joke it wasn't serious but it did grind my gears a little bit um but uh look third down efficiency defense is going to be really important like get them off the field um turnovers of course i look it's it's the football ABCs right you know don't turn the football over do create them if if uh but but how uncomfortable can they make kj if if if he's comfortable sitting in the pocket and and i looked at the splits uh that he he had last week at um

1:17:46uh against directional Alabama and you know what did he do um first down versus second down versus third down he was actually amazing on first down 11 of 12 for 98 yards so in a touchdown so that like second down he uh went down to 57% uh passing and then third down he was five of eight um passing uh he was only one of four if there so third and seven denying he was one of four and then third and ten he was two of two for 38 yards but so it's like pretty much every other quarterback you you want you want to get him behind schedule you want to make him uh to you want to make him to to have to make decisions uh he started the game fairly slowly he was seven of 13 in the first quarter five of nine in the second quarter and then in the second half he played really well he was eight eight of eight for 77 yards in the third quarter and four of five for 59 yards in the fourth quarter well that's great completion percentage but he's not he wasn't throwing the ball

1:18:51really far down the field it there wasn't a lot of of big chunk plays they were short throws so can you target him off schedule can they disrupt his timing can they can they make him hold the ball the more he holds the ball the worse his results tend to be just based on what the numbers were looking at like and then watching the game right you know I we both watched the game and and we saw what that looks like but uh you know in the red zony was just okay it was three of seven uh all three of his completions went for touchdowns um and so uh but everything else you know was an incompletion and so as the the insitational things as the field gets smaller and shorter as he making forcing him to make decisions forcing him to uh to beat you is is is is right where Utah is going to want to be so can the defensive line get after him can they make him uncomfortable and and can they give the defense the rest of the defense some opportunities to create turnovers um a pick six would be really nice

1:19:58if Utah gets a pick six I I say that they probably win this and win this um comfortably uh but uh yeah anyway that long explanation for for a score prediction question but uh it's but that's really what it hinges on is I'm pretty confident that that damp year is gonna I don't think this is gonna be a Texas Tech last year situation with the offense I think that they're gonna move the ball I think that they're gonna uh gonna be able to put points on the board I think that they're gonna be able to use their weapons we don't have a banged up damp year uh they they're comfortable with the backup if there is um but uh it's it's what can that it's it's a battle the quarterbacks you know which quarterback can make plays when they need to who can keep the chains moving who can get off the field um or who can get before stock the field sooner and that's gonna be the deciding factor um I have 38 21 for Utah

1:21:01yeah I'll give you a more short sustained answer so you don't you don't have a a reasoning behind what's gonna happen there Sammy no I do I just think that while there's still some lingering issues I just I just have this gut feeling that this Utah team talent wise is just better overall than Arkansas and I know that might be a bold take especially because there is still the questions like lingering about the offensive line and the defensive line but I just I just think there's too much going in Utah's favor this week that I think just kind of leads me to a Utah win like I kind of I talked about it a lot with the corners I've talked about it with you know quarterback play everything like that all the radio hits I've done this week all the stories I've written I feel like I've succinctly shared why I think this but I just I just have Utah I just have Utah on top I just think that this is a game that you don't lose yeah well it's certainly a game that

1:22:03in a lot of ways you can't lose I mean you just can't there's this is an important game yeah it's just from a perception perspective well yes I know that Arkansas is not expected to be particularly good but Scally as he's trying to build this thing as you know as he's trying to prove these hypotheses that he's put in place in terms of how to run a college football program in a different way how to establish a culture stuff like that the things they're trying to do on the recruiting trail frankly it's it's something we probably ought to talk about is just what's happening on the recruiting front in in for this game they've got a marquee conference opponent I know that look Arkansas is a brand name nationally it's not the brand name but it's a name that people know that's the SEC label is big and and it's an opportunity for Utah to come out and punch them in the mouth and say look you know the the a they won't play us but b when we get

1:23:07when they we finally get him to play us you know we slapped him around yep and um and so that's really really important and and they're gonna be big big recruits on the sidelines Huffman ran a peace on it was a Huffman or Biggans that ran the peace on I muted myself biggie it was biggie yeah so uh obviously look gauge weddle is gonna be on campus and and look he's he's he's got his forts it's Utah Ohio State Georgia and Oklahoma right those are the four that he's looking at the most interesting that there's a certain team that's not on that list um that uh maybe if they you know if they think about it for a second they'll figure out a way to get back in it but uh are you talking about a team that's a little bit south of here oh no no I'm talking about a team that's that's northeast of here oh oh the team did okay the team that his dad just I'll give you a second

1:24:10to figure out who it is but uh the team his dad was right about yeah the funny enough and got who would have thought that a Hall of Famer would know ball yeah well you know it's it's strange you know it's so strange but anyway but yeah gauge is gonna be there and and and look people there there's we have there's a narrative that goes with the 2027 class and we have helped establish that narrative um I've shouted it enough that it's it's it's caught and other people have supported it of course but look there are areas where Utah is chosen not to span on certain recruits or be very judicious with their spending the more they spend on a high school recruit that is the less they can spend on a transfer portal guy or retention that sort of thing and so they're they're being smart with their money um the 2028 class and so as a result look there's the one four star and he's not even a composite four star and now I do think that we're gonna see

1:25:14some changes diesel dart is a guy that I think is worthy of a bump um there are a couple of others that I think are definitely worthy of consideration um as as as the season plays out but um they you know wait there's not a lot of four stars that does not mean that Utah stopped recruiting guys by the way uh the 2027 guys uh you're going to see the UTS still like guys that have committed the big 10 programs guys that have committed the SEC programs uh UTS are still going to be involved with them and you might see money um be made available to sign NIL stuff uh for for bigger name recruits you might see some light flips uh you know we saw it last year with Lee Benjamin right where he he was a four star committed the Minnesota flipped to Utah he had visited Utah many many times we did not say a word about it uh uh and there was reason for that and that you might see similar

1:26:16situations this year um but uh uh but when you you look at the 2028 kids right they're Utah's gonna spend money that they the the class is going to be much much smaller the high school class is because of the rule change and the the extra year of eligibility that so many people are getting there's far fewer slots this class this high school class in 2028 it's the most loaded that we've ever seen in Utah there's a ton of highly highly rated guys the UTS are going to be after they are going to spend money they have to win and they have to win this year is why this game so important right you've got gauge weddle and toafenga and um um let's see uh dance puhone uh asamina yeah asamina tk savory uh it's uh it's gonna be there too yeah exactly so uh so you've got some some big time guys and so winning these types of games matters you know the holy war is

1:27:18gonna be the next it's this game and the holy word the two two games we're gonna see all the the the unofficial visits for the 2028 kids that's when Maui Tennada is gonna be on campus and and the the the next in in in what you fans hope is the long line of faunos that play for the UTS and and and that sort of thing but but look the UTS are gonna spend money on 2028 they have to make an impression now and so they have to win these games and so just even from a recruiting standpoint like fans showing up fans being loud fans being supportive making an electric atmosphere not only to make things difficult for Arkansas but to help on the recruiting front and and impress recruits like that kind of thing is gonna matter yep 100% and it's this is like what you like kind of like who talked about with lii it's like this is that time and beer where there's gonna you're gonna see kids go places but also like like I know there's a lot of panic

1:28:18on the board about e and aloecia wearing b-wai u gloves like I don't think he would be at his the second game of the season if he's wavering on Utah like a lot of the time it's kids have to wear gloves of the color they're wearing and b-wai u royal blue is the closest thing to a temp-futue blue yeah and that's possibility and maybe maybe b-wai u's gonna try to flip on I don't know and maybe they succeed and if they do them who cares like they'll get somebody else you know if he en goes to b-wai u then and I like Ian I say that like I say that in a rather flippant manner but I really do like Ian a lot I think he's a good kid I think he's a very good player I think that he will be good at Utah and there's reason why he's the number one offensive lineman in the state this in this cycle but but yeah it's you know like that stuff happens and gloves sometimes matter and they mean something and sometimes they don't you know and and and b-wai u loves to play those games

1:29:19too where we saw it with a pair of twins you know with similar things so and look the kids gonna sign or there's not or he's not and but make no mistake Utah's not finished just because they've got the commitments lined up they're not finished they're still chasing after guys I wouldn't be surprised if we saw flips I wouldn't be surprised if one of the three guys that the community of Washington has a change of heart or maybe not I don't know but they're not done they're not done and they're gonna try to get these guys on campus again and and it's it's gonna be interesting to see what what that looks like but a signing based a long ways away there's a lot that can happen between they're here and now and and this weekend is yet another important step on that front and so it's not just about what's going on in practice and and and that sort of thing it's it's about the roster management and the building for the future and and how do you carry that culture through and

1:30:21and what does that look like 100% um Dan is there anything else you want to share?
