I’ve NEVER Had a High-Proof Rosa Añejo… Until Now
About this episode
Elevación 1250 Rosa Añejo Fuerte review! This unreleased tequila from NOM 1522 was crafted by Master Distiller Iliana Partida and aged 14 months in French oak Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from Napa Valley. Bottled at 44.4% ABV, this High-Proof Rosa Añejo may be one of the most unique tequilas I’ve tasted all year.
In this review, I’m taking a first look at the upcoming Elevación 1250 Rosa Añejo Fuerte, a tequila that isn’t even on the market yet.
What makes it unique?
✅ 14 Months Aged
✅ French Oak Cabernet Sauvignon Barrels
✅ Napa Valley Wine Casks
✅ Wet Barrel Program
✅ 44.4% ABV (High Proof)
✅ Crafted by Iliana Partida
✅ Produced at NOM 1522
✅ Additive-Free Tequila
The barrels are sourced directly from a California Cabernet Sauvignon winery and filled within approximately three weeks of being emptied, allowing the tequila to capture incredible wine character while maintaining the agave-forward profile tequila lovers crave.
Could this be one of the most interesting tequila releases of the year?
