In Acts 3, we see a powerful lesson about identity through the story of the lame man at the Beautiful Gate. Many of us become defined by our brokenness, accepting negative voices as our identity. Yet positioning ourselves in the right environment—near God—is crucial for breakthrough. God looks at us intentionally, often wanting to give us complete restoration rather than the temporary relief we request. When God transforms us, we must stand up, use our gifts, and praise Him. Our transformation then becomes a powerful testimony that inspires others to believe in God's power.
