They allowed their lead driver to be undercut by his own teammate, resulting in Oscar Piastri being unable to challenge Lando Norris for position until the end. These questionable decisions could cost them dearly as the season progresses. Red Bull also faced strategic missteps, leading to an unforced error from Max Verstappen that cost him a podium finish.
