And look, I'm told that the conversations regarding AJ Brown are not dead yet. I think their number one priority, if they had a choice, would be to figure out how to trade for Eagles receiver AJ Brown. But my understanding is that Eagles asking price is still very high. And so right now, there is not much common ground right now on a deal. That could change in the coming days. So that's the one I'm keeping an eye on. I also checked in on Stefan Day. Is there any chance they would bring him back? It sounds like that's a no at this stage. They like what he did for them last year. It was a cost over value thing, but they are hoping to get another one receiver with a little younger, a little bit more trending upward in this career. Final hour, Jones and Keith here on WEEI. He could dial us up 617-779-793-7. That is your phone number. The door not shut on an AJ Brown plan, which I don't think it should be. I think

what the Patriots do in the receiver room from now until they've finished their plan, that's going to really change my opinion on Romeo dobs because dobs as a free agent, number two wide receiver, where now you've probably improved on K-Shambutian Mac Hollins, but he's closer to that group than he is the AJ Browns of the world. Well, if he's slotted in after AJ Brown with those other guys, I really like your receiver room. If Romeo dobs the leader of that room, I don't think it's a very good room. I think you downgraded from a year ago. So I think it's fair to say from when we were on the air yesterday, Keith, the receiver room improved. But from last year when the season ended, losing digs and bringing in dobs, the receiver room got worse. And the question is, are they done there? Are they going to continue to add? If they add, are they still thinking big ticket like AJ Brown? We're going to cross off Brian Thomas, Jr. Or are they thinking like a rookie, another body they're going to throw at the spot? Like that to me is going to really shift how I feel about Romeo, Romeo dobs because right now I'm like, yeah,

it's fine. He's fine. Yeah. But he ain't a number one and he's not better than what digs gave you last year. I don't think. But at least to spend a positive when we had Kern on yesterday and he said it looked like AJ Brown or bust, at least it's not that. It's not a bust. It could be AJ Brown and Romeo dobs, right? At least you're not just saying, hey, we're peeling off our thousand year I'd receiver from a year ago because we don't want to pay him and or we don't think he's going to be as productive this year. And we just assume booty and Matt Collins and pop Douglas are going to take like a leap forward and Kyle Williams can take a huge leap forward. That's way too risky to bank on. No, this is that. Yeah, Romeo dobs at least raises the floor up a little bit for this team. But I'm really hoping this is like the 2007 offseason where they got Dante Stallworth then Randy Moss. And obviously they got Welker even first, but I just at the time Stallworth was a bigger name than even Welker was then. And then when they got him, you're like, all right, that's good. But is that really what's going to push the team over the top from the old six receivers to this upcoming season? And then on draft day, they trade for Randy Moss.

And obviously that was a complete game changer. So if you add Romeo dobs, but you don't make them your number one, now you're cooking with gas. Like now you might be better significantly better than you were a year ago. Yeah, and dobs. I didn't realize he's only 25 like dobs younger than I thought. The production profile to me is lacking, you know, 55 for seven, whatever six touchdowns last year. That's all fine. Yeah. Could it be better with Drake main? Could it be better if he's more of a focal point of the offense? Maybe. And that's the Alec Pierce argument. Pierce is more productive than dobs. But the argument is there another gear with this player. If you make a more of a focal point, dobs felt like a supplemental piece in Green Bay. Is he a supplemental piece because they didn't know how to use him or is he a supplemental piece because he's just a supplemental piece of the offense? I don't know. We're going to find out. Same thing with Alec Pierce. Do you think he's a thousand yard receipt? No. Yeah, I don't really either. Now he has some pretty impressive like text line up open rate percentages and like some of these advanced stats. Next line brought up Kendrick born. Like Kendrick born. I don't think is a horrible analogy for him. He's

probably better. But like born never got to a thousand, right? His first year with Mac. He was nine something. Yeah, that sounds right. Not even 800. Yeah. Can a map of Trisha decided to hate him. He could have gone to a thousand. Yeah. Dobs was the leading receiver guards wise for the Packers last year. But Christian Watson missed seven games. So he would have been the leading receiver. He's born numbers. He was 49 60 67 and two the year before he got to New England. Dobs was 55, seven, something and six. So I think dobs are red zone threat. Yeah. I think dobs is an improvement against man coverage, which I think the Patriots have struggled against. As you said, he's a guy who can get open. Like there are elements I like to his game. I just don't think he's a number one. So you need another big ticket, big time alpha receiver in front of him. If you get it, I love the signing. If not, I think they overpaid for a guy who's not a lead dog in an offense. He is closer to digs than like Alex pierces. We're talking about like replicating what the guy runs. So if you want to, you know what I'm saying? Like areas on the pierces are probably better overall receiver. But yes, no, I agree with this deep ball guy. And we said if you added

pierce, which you and I didn't want, but a lot of people did pierce and booty might run a lot of the same stuff. At least dot, I feel like dobs booty pot like you have different receivers at least. So like McDonald's can use those guys in all different ways. So I like that. But maybe he'd be so much better if you had like a real number one alongside him. Like that, that would make dobs this season. I'd not that he'd be a thousand year guy, but I don't want to give him a better chance if you had someone like AJ Brown, right? Like you would have all the attention would be on these other guys. And then from your dobs can kind of a lot of one on month. Where are you at? Because I see mixed reporting all over the place. I don't think anybody's ruling them out after they got dobs. But I see mixed reporting. Oh, dobs was actually signed to pair with AJ Brown. Like this is the plan. Now the patriots have leverage to go negotiate with how he roseman because the cupboard is in bearer. Or you know, you can say, well, this is a guy they they brought in. And this is what they're doing and they're moving on because they don't like where the AJ Brown negotiations are going. How how live do you think the AJ Brown dream still is?

I think it's still alive. I do. Now Romeo, the amount of money they gave him. I was like, man, maybe that is their receiver move. But then you're like, it's free agency. God, you're getting paid through the nose. Out of Pierce is not one of the five greatest receivers of all time. Even though he has one of the five greatest contracts of all time. And it's four for 68. I put that in air quotes because like, let's see, the Milton Williams contract, the numbers initially looked a lot better than when you really dug in on it. And they paid for Milton. So even higher when I first saw it, wasn't it like four for 79 or whatever they said? Like there was like four different reports on money. It was like three for 51 and then four for 70 and then four for 80. Yeah. So it's all different. It's up to 80, which she'll never get. They won't get that. It's 68, which you probably won't get. So like, what are the real numbers? Remember, Diggs is reported last year as like a massive deal. It was a glorified one year deal. So when you when you dig in on some of the numbers once they come in, I feel a little bit better about that. And I still think AJ Brown's going to be traded. And it doesn't seem like there's a lot of other teams. Now, the one thing that you'd say is how often is there a trade where it's just talked about for like a month straight that it happens?

Like, it seems like usually these moves like we weren't really talking about Romeo Dobbs that much. No, actually, you know, you're like, oh, he's talking about the Patriots. You're like, oh, okay. So there's just been like way too much talk about the AJ Brown one. And I just, we didn't talk about him a lot because I don't I don't think he's anything special, which is why like he's on the same tier of free agents as Joanne Jennings and guys like that. I prefer Jennings to him. Now, let's see what Jennings get for gets for a deal. Let's see their best signing. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. He's ahead of drama talker and drama Jones. Yes. Totally. And no, no, he's their most significant signing so far. But the reason we didn't spend a lot of time talking about him, I think people were connecting dots to him, meaning beat writers and fans. The reason we didn't is I don't think either of us love him. No, we don't. I would have I wish they kept digs over him. We'll see who's right or wrong on that. But I would prefer digs to him. If you get AJ Brown, I really like the doves move. But yeah, there was a reason we didn't spend a lot of time talking about him. I didn't I didn't like him all that much as a number one receiver. I don't like the idea of him as a number one. No, but I mean, this is also we're wondering like will variable be allowed

to spend in back to back off seasons. It hasn't obviously gotten to the level of last year's off season. They haven't set this out. I mean, there are some teams that haven't done really anything in the first couple of days. And so the Patriots are at least making moves. Barrett Tucker got a decent amount of money or at least has the chance to earn a lot of money. There's a lot of game day incentives and things like that, which there should be for guys as hurt as he is. We mentioned the game day incentives for him at the tail end of the show. They came out like right before we got off the area straight. Like even after the crossover, I think we just read it real quick. Yeah, yeah. But I mean, that's they've you don't have to like all the players they've gotten, but they've gone out there and made moves already. Well, they have four or five players and they got them at the three positions. We all agree they need an offensive lineman left guard and edge rusher and a wide receiver. So like they think they did what they needed fullback was lower on my personal list, but they did sign him as well. This from Pelicero yesterday just to bring it back. Patriots three or 42 million dollar deal with Elijah Vera Tucker includes a whopping $250,000 for each game he's

active. One of the biggest per game active runner roster bonuses in NFL history. A sensible hedge Pelicero writes with AVT AVT. AVT who is very talented, but has battled injuries. He says the per game bonuses are technically guaranteed in 2026, but he still has to dress each week to earn them a total of 12.75 million over three years tied to being active. So, you know, the Patriots brought him in on their terms. Maybe he's a good player. When he plays, how much is he going to be out there? We're going to find out he's basically missed as much as he played. Yeah, he's basically one game played, one game missed, one game played, one game missed on balance throughout his career. So how creative do they get with the dobs deal? I don't know. And could more money be on the way out? Like, why do you think they're releasing Amphorne Jennings today? That's a guy that I thought played pretty well. I'm like, I don't really care that he's gone, but just I didn't, that wasn't on my radar. What's he tied to being creative like two years ago? He was. He was. He never did. At the deadline last year, we all thought he was gone and then he came back and played pretty well. So I just kind of assumed he had played his way on the team or the clearing of the decks,

so right. For what? Is that for AJ Brown? Is that because maybe they gave Romeo Dobs a few extra bucks? They paid a full back back on the market. Max Crosby. Maybe you think it's for Max Crosby? I don't, but he is available. And so he's back with the Raiders and who knows what's going to happen there. Good text in which I agree with. Can't wait for the Patriots to trade for Brown at 207 today. That's a guarantee. If the Patriots trade for AJ Brown, it'll happen between two and two 30. Yeah, good point. I've been in the car for so many so much breaking news. Steering wheel 100% it's going to happen. But yeah, everybody Jennings gone because I mean, they really gutted the team from a year ago. Like any kind of bell check Mayo holdover with a few exceptions, they kind of gutted this year. They were like less of those guys, but look at like Austin Hooper's gone Jennings is gone. We'll see what they do with some of the other guys. How active do you think it'll be at four o'clock? I mean, we can sort of like Crosby in a moment. I think we know most of the stuff, but they like Patriots are league wise. I think Vikings will

sign Kyler because he'll officially be released. Yeah. And so like Twitch chat's talking about a couple of names right now. I think these are the perfect type of names. Like Najoku. Oh, Bired. Like is impossible at 401 when the when free agency actually begins. It's just been legal tampering to this point. When actual free agency begins to the Patriots swoop in on like a player like that. Those don't move the needle for you. It looks like you. Those they do. They do. I just wondered why we haven't heard that yet. I just feel like with all these different ones. And I also wonder if they'll be I wonder if they'll also be a change with the legal tampering big picture because of this whole max because of Crosby, maybe there's a shady situation that's going on there, but they should probably change something. I don't know. I feel like Shepter and Pelicero and all these guys that have been just tweeting out signings left and right. Like we know the Patriots are signing KJ Brit. So if they're going to sign David and Joku, I feel like we would have already heard. I don't think like four o'clock is going to be like an on it's just going to be a lot of like now officials. That's my guess. But I would take both those guys in a second. I don't make a really well rounded off. I guess it's just my point. There are still some good names out there.

Like I think most of the big ticket items are off the board. Say for Max Crosby who's now suddenly available again and AJ Brown via trade, but those are trades that's not free agents like they have more of a time like both those teams could wait until the draft like you have a month to make those moves if you really want to. I think we know what happened with Max Crosby by the way, who if you were watching the Celtics last night, like I was and all of a sudden you're scrolling through your phone, go, wait a minute. Yeah. The deals off and the way the Raiders framed it. Oh yeah, is not just that the deal is off. They're pissed. They should be. They absolutely should be. They don't never do a deal with the Ravens again. I will think the Raiders statement where to go now. I had it in the wrong the wrong link here in the docking on. They had a good they closed it well. I'm paraphrasing it was basically just they backed out of the deal. Here you go. The Baltimore Ravens have backed out of our trade agreement for Max Crosby. We'll have no further comment at this time. So it's like no further comment. It's not like he failed his physically. He's back. They backed out of the trade because I think they found out there were reports all day yesterday.

Tray Hendrickson, his numbers going down, his numbers going down and down and down. Well, it turns out it was 28 million a year. Yeah. Four year deal. They got him and they got to keep their draft picks and they said, what would we rather do? Give up two first rounders from Max Crosby who's better. No one's debating that he's better. Well, we rather get our first round picks back and pay Hendrickson at a reasonable number, which I guess 28 million a year in their mind was reasonable. Maybe where he was earlier in negotiations was unreasonable. Wait, you're asking for what now? Because nobody else will give it to you. 28 million a year and we get our picks back. Boom, let's back out of this deal. Max Crosby or a Raider, Tray Hendrickson, you're in. I think that's obviously what happened. Yeah. I don't think you failed a physical. No, I think either. I think they failed him on his physical because they wanted Tray Hendrickson at that number instead of Max Crosby. I bet there's paperwork that said they failed his physical. But I think it's garbage. It shouldn't be allowed, but it also that throws like a giant monkey wrench into the whole idea of the legal tampering and all these deals that they're announcing that are like these guys are are going to sign it. None of them can be this guy has signed. It's all like will sign. It's

going to sign expected to sign. So all these teams could just like pull the rug out now. That would affect relationships with other teams when it comes to trades or with agents when you're doing well, it's a free agent. So like most teams are going to do that. But the fact that they did. I feel like there has to be some sort of change. And like the ripple effect of the rest of the league was pretty wild. There's a way different caliber of player. But remember Isaiah, you actually brought up Isaiah when this this came up last night. He had like a broken hip and jaw. Okay. And you're like the trade went through. He got to Cleveland failed his physical. Yep. And they were like are throwing a second round pick. Throw us another second. If this wasn't horse crap nonsense from the Ravens, I'm going to renegotiate it or something. They wouldn't have gone right to trade Hendricks in the next morning. That was so bad. You got to at least wait a week or two. I couldn't believe it. Yeah. I didn't Lamar Restructure's contract yesterday, but I didn't come out. Yes. Good point. Yes. That's also true. So like I guess I assume when I saw that news, maybe some of that was going to be dog year for Crosby wrong. It was dog year for Hendricks. So like, but if the Ravens really were interested in Crosby and this wasn't a crock,

they'd say, Hey, you know, can we make it a conditional pick or can we rework the deal in some way, shape or form just like Danny Angin, the calves did to push that deal through. And that's what both. What do you mean? Oh, sign both. Yeah. Yeah. That'd be awesome. Imagine if they'd Max Crosby, entry, Hendricks. Yeah. Good luck. Yeah. That our Ravens Super Bowl prediction show ice equal prediction would have been back on exactly early on that. But you know, that's a, that's a mess. And I'm sure there's going to be some quotes coming out from anonymous GMs. Oh, there was already one to get you see the one to get a full of last night. Hang on. Oh, no, I miss that one. Let me get it. But I'm not surprised. I could probably predict what the guy said. And so yeah, what a mess that is, I wouldn't be surprised if there are some changes. I guess the good news for the Pats is he's available. So if you want to, you can make another run at him, which I would. Or also, he's not going to the Ravens, which should be a better AFC team. I guess they got Hendricks in, but I think Crosby's the better player. Oh, he is. But obviously, they're like, well, we got our two first round picks back. I forget that is pathetic. I forgot what it was to get a full of something like a league source that was just bullcrap what the Ravens were

doing, which it is. But they may Crosby available again. I don't believe he's going to be a rater. No, I believe there's a chance he's going to get dealt. The question is now Tom Brady has said he wouldn't trade him here. Now if the Patriots have the best offer, you're not going to get too first. That's gone. You're not going to get a first in a second. Dallas has said they're out. They moved on to Roshan Gary. Maybe that's posturing, but I'll take them at their word. I don't get why you have to put out a statement on that. Did you see a Racini's tweet? So this is from wherever this was earlier today. It's been made clear by multiple people around the NFL at all levels that Baltimore had all the information and understood where Max Crosby's knee was in terms of his recovery timeline. Many in the league believe GM Eric Takosta and the Ravens ultimately just got cold feet. Yes, what happened? That was cold feet. All right. Oh, no. It was Tray Hendrickson's available and we get our picks back. Textline says Ravens broke no rules. I mean, I think that's technically true, but this is shady AF. Yeah. Like I mean, they might not have broken a rule technically, but I'm with you. Good luck doing business with this team ever again.

Oh, yeah. No, and I feel like the other owners are going to complain enough where they tried to give us this legal tampering because they already knew everybody was tampering and now they're doing this. Now these like 48 hour agreed upon deals. You know, it's like the cult stop Josh McDaniels. It was going to be their coach. He then backed out. I guess you could do that. I guess through the Ravens, the Ravens are like Josh McDaniels back and out and Indy. That's exactly what they are. And Josh McDaniels can't get a job because of it. Meanwhile, this text here. I've seen a lot of this today. Guys, this is super whiny. So at least you acknowledge us. No, no, this text. Oh, but I feel like if Bella checked it, but the Ravens did, we would have lost the first rounder. Yeah, they should. Maybe there's something I said earlier. Or no, honestly, if Bella checked it, there was a time where people would have been like chest versus check. Yeah, people here were going to love it. Oh, so good. Oh, yeah, they screwed up. They screwed over everybody else made signings in the meantime and this and that. So smart. That is what people would do. But no, if I'm the Patriots, I call up to Costa right now and I say, hey, do you want Christian Gonzalez for fourth round pick? And they go, yeah, we'll do that.

And then you let it go all the way along and then you back out of it. Just kidding. Teams should be doing that. It's like all the time. It's called them leaving this like stuff in the email with the equivalent of ringing the doorbell with the dog poop in the back on the floor. Yeah, the ding dong ditch. Exactly. That's what that's what all the teams should be do. All the different GM should be doing that now to the Ravens and the Costa six, one, seven, seven, seven, nine, seven, ninety, three, seven. We got your phone calls here on Jones and Keith. It's how you jump in line for WWE EI afternoons. We'll have more on this. I'm sure you got hard. Yeah, God Fitsy. I got 10. So stay tuned for it. We'll get you the clip to sure. And right after trending with Billy Lanny, it's time for grab bag to sexy for grab bag to sexy for grab bag. And that's my sick rug. It's going on. Oh, it's really it's time for grab back here on Jones and Keith W.E.I. Grabback is brought to you by Awaken 180 weight loss and Jones Boston

Celtics talked a lot about him today. Jalen Brown got ejected shame on the referees for Tosset Jalen Brown out of the game in the second quarter. They lost to the spurs off tonight taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder. It'll be a 930 game tomorrow night on prime and then they'll be home for a stretch after that. But the two most difficult places to play in the NBA this season are San Antonio and Oklahoma City. So it's as tough a back-to-back games anyway that you can have in the league. And I hope and Terp said this earlier. I hope Thursday's a little more all hands on deck. Yeah. Like it's annoying that Pritchard didn't play last night. It's annoying. Jalen got tossed. Tatum's still going to be on a minute restriction. You're not going to have Vuchavitch, but I think for all intents and purposes, it's going to be all hands on deck. And I thought they acquitted themselves nicely. They could have had a win if Jalen didn't get thrown out last night. Or at least we could have had like a spectacular finish like we got earlier this week Denver and OKC. So I hope I hope this game tomorrow night everybody starts the game,

finishes the game and it's all hands on deck. I think it should be on the ground. It's triolo fields fires throws not in time. There is the speed on display. How about that digging for the Jones and Keith Grabback down at first? Oh, excellent speed from Braden Ward. And he's aboard with nobody out here. Oh, sorry, one out here in the third. I got excited. I told Jones and Keith I would get that in. So close. That was close to execution. So close. I nailed it. I think pretty good. We're sponsoring first base the Jones and Keith Grabback. He's like it out for first base. So every time somebody goes to first base, it should be the, you know, and he just gets in there at the Jones and Keith Grabback. Yeah. Oh, that was nice. Nice work by Ken. So Ken actually had to, we were asking, yeah, we're like, Peggy, we're like, where is this? Yeah, where I didn't listen to all the apologies. I didn't listen to all my nannings. So like, where was it? That's some of the game. Ken submitted that today. Good job. Good job. Ken had to find it. Yeah. So I reached out to Bradford, who is with Bradford goes around the third. Wrong. I reached out to, I reached out to Zach who was producing the game. He goes

sometime after the fifth. Great. Wrong. Ken comes and he's like, I'll find it. Yeah, I was saying Ken can actually track that down on our behalf. Thank you, Ken, for making the call and finding it because we couldn't find it. We appreciate that. Speaking of Bradford, he will join us tomorrow. Yes. There is a no game today for the socks. They play the twins tomorrow at one. So it's Bradford on the call for that one. Oh, yeah, but that's fine. He'll be, he'll join us in the 30 Mayors Cup. It's a Mayors Cup game. It is a Mayors Cup game. They got Bradford getting down. Yeah, we're getting down towards the end of it. So that's good. Boston Bruins winners last night at home in overtime. Really, McIvoy got a couple of teeth knocked out in the second period, came back, scored the game winner in overtime. That's hockey, as they say. He's hot. He's got a whole hockey. He didn't miss any time. You know why, Keith? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So two games against the Kings this year. Both two on wins in overtime. Bees are off tonight. They host the San Jose Sharks tomorrow night at the garden seven o'clock.

Bees remain two points up over Columbus for that final spot in the eastern conference playoff. Okay, hang it on. We've been doing the good. That's right. Well, we've been doing the good news. Bad news for the bees. They got another home game, as you said, and then four to the next five on the road. So you might want to, might want to clean that up a little bit. A little bit. Yeah. Brip it. Brip it. Brip it. Don't you just picture Heidi with like a drill? Uh, yes, I do. Yeah. Yes, I do. Like a miter song. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, what a show. World baseball classic last night,

the United States lost to Italy, baseball powerhouse Italy. They're actually getting smoked. They came back, made it a game at the end, but they lost and now putting their quarter finals appearance in jeopardy. They may not make it to the quarter finals as Italy and Mexico played tonight on FS one. I do believe it'll also be on to be. They didn't steal it from to be. Two minute lose any programming. There's not just an empty hole on to be. Yeah. Okay. So if Italy wins, uh, the US advances, if Mexico wins and scores more than five runs, they advance. But if Mexico wins and scores four runs or less, US does not advance the quarter finals of the world. Right. So you start off rooting for Italy. And then as the game progresses, if Mexico is winning, you need them to score some runs. That's how that's your rooting interest for tonight if that wasn't confusing enough. This might impact the world baseball classic ratings the rest of the way. If the United States gets at home, I can tell you a one fewer person. If US is out,

I can tell you one fewer person will be watching. Well, at least the times you like the times of these games, Jones, because three o'clock this afternoon on FS two, I can handle that. Canada Cuba. Yeah. Something's going to give. Yeah. I'll go home and watch that seven o'clock. The aforementioned Italy, Mexico and then at eight o'clock on FS one, as well as two B Dominican Republic, Venezuela. Both teams enter tonight's three and a throw the records for that. Yeah. Or throw them in. Yeah. Yeah. I count them. No, it's a three and a row. So he wouldn't throw the record. That's true. Yeah. He doesn't know what's going on. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They lost a tough one. Yeah. Uh, Danny Dimes, Daniel Jones,

after the cult slapped the transition tag on him, has reupped with the cults two years, 88 million dollars. It could be worth up to 150 million fully guaranteed at signing, 60 million guaranteed for injury. You got to graduate the Danny dollars. Nicely done. Do you think so? No. Okay. Danny Dimes still. No, Indiana Jones. Actually, that's actually the better Indiana. Indiana. Indiana Jones is a perfect. That's why he couldn't sign anywhere else. Did you see the other report that Max, not Max Rosby Trey Hendrixon was going to sign with the cults? No. Yeah. That's, well, that was somewhere that he was going to sign with the cults. He was like thinking about doing and then the Ravens were like, oh, actually. We'll pay. Yeah. We'll come here. We don't even have Max Rosby. Don't even worry about that. Don't read Twitter. He's not really a guy on our team. Nothing to see here. Hey, I could, yeah, be your head, be your head, grab, grab, grab, grab, grab, back, egg, egg,

Kalevon Chasin. No, not a good season for the New England Patriots last year. Seven and a half sacks. Yeah. Thank you, Hawk Harrelson. He is gone. Signing with the Washington commanders. One year, $12 million. You're either off Kalevon Chasin for one year, $12 million or Dremon Jones, $339. Well, you know, Chasin was here last year at this time. I don't even think we even mentioned Chasin. The only reason we started talking about him is down on training care, but he's out there a lot and he's making plays, but like he won't last. We probably talked about as much as the KJ Brit signing today. We like mentioned it and then we moved on. We're like, I got a former first round bust, but I think Dremon Jones has his work cut out for him to be as good as Chasin. I think he can be. He's coming off a pretty good year. He also had seven sacks. He had a bunch of quarterback hits and pressures and all that stuff. I think you're at all the tongue assigned elsewhere. Like that doesn't bother me at all. Yeah. This one. Well, just this is, I thought he might actually get a real deal. This, he's getting like another prove it contract. He might have been worth bringing

back, but look, if they like Dremon Jones, let's just, let's see who's better, but yeah, he's gonna have to out produce Kalevon Chasin because that's a reasonable contract. Some grab bag once told me Jones is kind of lonely. He's got the softest hands on the show. And Keith was looking kind of dumb with his finger and his thumb in the shape of a grab bag on his forehead. The NFL is considering the idea of introducing a Thanksgiving Eve game. The Wednesday night, which is like the high school hero night, where everybody goes back to their bar. They say, hey, remember me? Yeah. I could have made that tackle. There's been a lot of that going on that state. Yeah, you're kind of fat and bald now, but yeah, I do remember you remember fondly when you go on state. That one here and then while you're packed into a local bar that night, there might be an NFL game on the TV, which leads to this question, Jones. Okay. If the NFL starts playing on Wednesdays, yeah, is that the first game of the week or the last game of the week?

I think it's the first game of the week. Okay. I think I mean, that this is on. Is that what they did on Christmas? Was that the first game? Because they did a Christmas Wednesday game. Yeah, you're right. That was weird. I kicked off the week. Tough. Yeah. I don't want that. I don't want it at all. Get it out of my face. You don't want football every day. No, I don't. I want it just on Sunday. Football every day. Why stop it? Why stop it just Wednesday on Thanksgiving Eve? Would you go and before you say no, super Tuesday football? Get that going. Would you want football every day of the year? So you have a football game every day to watch. No. Okay. That's right. Yeah, one day a week. Just every day of the week wants to football season style. Sure. Let's do it. I go for it, NFL. I don't like it at all. This magic moment when your grab back is close to my will last forever. Forever until the end of WWE.

Anthony Jennings, cut by the Patriots. Would you say your favorite Jennings moment was when he joined us on the show? 100%. Most memorable thing he did. I would agree with that. Putting the X rated into X. These guys are stupid. Has Bob Ryan tweeted? All right, Jones, many are asking. Has Bob Ryan tweeted? I want to say it was a huge sports night last night. He must have had something. He did good. He had a standalone tweet, which again is rare for Bob. It's usually responding to AI bots, a standalone tweet. I think it's appropriate to congratulate Bam on a bio on his 83 point game. Bam on a bio. Who would have thought? All caps. Is that why you yelled that? Exhumation point. Oh, I got it. Got it. Got it. The punctuation. Yeah. So that's kind of like a magic Johnson level tweet. Yeah, just analysis of what happened. Did he get into conspiracy theories like Turp that the world game never happened? No, he might have been there. He might have covered it. So then Dean Harrington responded to Bob Ryan

with his Bam on a bio. Congrats. Bam on a bio tweet. Where Dean Harrington wrote, the game was a force. You have to know that, Bob. Call it out. Bob responded to Dean Harrington. He's not going to get boxed around by Dean. No, he responded two hours after Dean tweeted that to him. Some time to think about it. He said, it's hard to comment on something you didn't see. Of course, I can't imagine what went on. Oh, he didn't see it. I guess not. Yeah, watch the clip. It's throwing him a congratulate. You got your phone in your hand. You go watch a clip. Yeah. Yeah, I guess. I think you're tweeting on his phone. Good point. No, no, no, I don't. Great point. The typewriter of phones. Maybe what he was on. Yeah, I guess that's desktop tweets, for sure. That could be true. Good point. All right. You want answers? I think I'm entitled. You want answers. Oh, grab bag. You can't handle the grab bag. All right, Jones, what do you say we get to the best NBA performer from last night? All right. Was it Luke Adonchich? Maybe 31 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Good night.

Was it Victor Wimbaama? I hate to say it, but 39 points, 11 rebounds and eight threes. Yeah. Was it Mattis Boussellis, 41 points? Wow. Good line. Nice. Probably Cameron Payne. Yeah, 32 points, 10 assists. Or was it bam on a bio, 83 points on 43, no, 46 free throw attempts? Yeah, 43, 46. No, it was he was 20 of 43 from the floor. He didn't even shoot 50 percent. He was 20 of 43 from the floor. He took 40. Yeah, it took over 43 throws and over 40 shots. It's 22 threes. You get nine boards, three assists. I'm going to go with bam. I just I'm I'm manipulating 83. Yeah, we don't recognize the 83. I'm going to recognize like 50 real points, which would still be the most of the night. Bam on a bio your player. It's time for Jones and Keith. Brandon Phillips. Okay, why don't you yes? Curtis, let's get it baseball player of the day. All right, Jones. The aforementioned Ken Laird came into the studio a couple short hours ago

to congratulate us on how great the show is. He's like, guys, love the show. Love what you're doing. Yeah, as always. Yes. Started great. Middles great. The ads always great. I've been laughing the whole time. See this in my office after the show. Yeah. Yeah. Guys, guys, there's food down here. Bring me a book. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, he handed me in all seriousness. He handed me a pack of a an unopened pack of 1991. Don Ross. Yeah. That's a Billy. That's a card. It says collect all 26 MVP bonus cards. Back when cards were cards. Don Ross. Yeah. Don Ross. Puzzle and cards featuring a Carlis Gramsky puzzle. There's three puzzle pieces in here and 16 picture cards. It says collect all 60 pieces to finish the puzzle. You're going to open it up and puzzle pieces. They're going to drop out of there. Perhaps. Be the gum. Yeah. And hopefully it's sticking gum. Yeah. All right. So we're going to these are going to be the plot. Those look good. Those are real good. These are red. I remember the yellow Don Ross. Oh, yeah. Look. What's that? That's a yeah. It's three pieces of a 63 piece. Yeah, as puzzle. It was it saved. Okay. Oh, was it saved?

It says something on the bottom. I don't know what it says. Only American leager. Something reached both. All right. We got a lot of good choices here. Yeah. All right. We have a guy who pitched for the least according to this. Oh, you see he got hold of all the money. He's wearing an Indian's uniform in this one. Okay. Just 1991. That's what they were called. Yeah. Pitch for the royals and the Indians. It is career. He has a he's a lefty arm. Lefty picture. Lefty bat. If need be starter. Starting pitcher. Let's see. He had an ERA of five in 1988. Okay. 1983 89 with the Indians chiseled it all the way down to 3.36. Oh, I believe he later went on to be a big league manager. He had a streak of 26 consecutive scoreless innings in 89 and led the Indians in innings pitched and shutouts. Okay. In 89. Any takers? I think he was a big league manager.

Any takers? Okay. All right. Eric. My cock groves. Oh, no. Okay. Eric wedges the catchers. I think he was a man. Yeah. That's all I think. That doesn't mean he managed. All right. It's an older ball player. All right. I'll give it to I'll give you the answer. It was Bud Black. We're looking for Bud Black. All right. I got another one. Good manager. Good manager. Yeah. Okay. All right. Guy played for the Yankees. Yeah. Haas. Haas. Absolutely. Haas. Where do you play on the field? He played in the outfield. Haas outfielder. Haas outfielder. He had let's see multiple 20 plus homerun seasons. I just won field. Correct. Whoa. That's a good card. Go look that up. That's a good. That's got some value. I bet another former random player with Eric Davis is in this pack. Oh, George Bell might have been a random player. Oh, Paul Mauler. I'm holding on to that one. Oh, yeah. Paul Mauler. That's a good guy. That's an MVP card. See that one? You got the MVP going on the background. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That's a nice one. Oh, these are 1990 Don Russ. Not even 91. I'm

a spoke 1990 Don Russ. Paul Mauler MVP. Put that aside. Ken Phelps. Ken Phelps. Ken Phelps. Ken Phelps. Ken Phelps. I'm all here about this. Ken Phelps. Paul O'Neill with the Reds. Oh, nice one. Randy Batch. Title. I didn't want a bad title yet. I don't know. Yeah. He was a guy named Randy Bush. Yeah, I knew that. Uh, who else we got? Steve. Steve Lake. Rod Nichols. All right. All right. Not bad. Paul Mauler though. Paul Mauler MVP card. Eric Davis. Yeah. And don't say they winfield. Paul O'Neill on the Reds. There's a Reds. There's a Reds heavy pack right there. That was pretty sweet. And don't forget the puzzle pieces. Oh, yeah, I did. It was a whole series team in 90. Yeah. Oh, good point. Good point. Don't I'm gonna look up these cars. Don Russ and nine. If Ken's got any more of those bring them bring those packs back. That was worth. That was a good time. Let's go. I could do a whole segment on that. Not parts of segments. Uh, sir, go. That is the random ball player each and every day in the grab bag here on Jones and Keith. Uh, don't forget you'll be able to vote latest entry in the Jones and Keith March madness 1990 slash early 2000s heavy mental

It's time for our Clip the Shore Jones. Are you ready for that? Sounds fantastic. What's the Clip the Shore today? Well I'm so glad you asked is the clip of the day of course with BAM out of bios historic night getting to 80 three points. What do you end on? I forgot which was the last free throw I was 83. Yeah 83 points. Well we started talking about Wilk Chamberlain in his 100 point game although Terp questions whether that ever even happened. Great take. But it's a Wilk Chamberlain talk. So he wrote a book. Who mocks this hasn't written a book? Wilk Chamberlain a view from above. Good title. He wrote it 1991. He claims that he had

that's a double entendre what that is. Yeah sure. And from the side in the shower. So over 20,000 women and he says he claims I guess he started at 15 and so from the ages of 15 to when the date was the book was published it would be 1.4 women per day. I am very proud. He had some crazy nicknames too. We'll the quilt. Let's see. We'll the stilt the Big Dipper. Dippy dip the load. The load. Yeah. All right. Big musty. The record book. Big musty. No, that was number 190,000 paper norm Uncle Wilty's Goliath and stuffer. Normal stuffer. Stuffer. Stuffer. What are you doing? These are on basketball reference. That means they're official. None of this is terrible. Yeah Terp came in here. That was the end of his appearance. I said it was like a heart cross over it. All the sudden we got to dump out a half the stuff.

Yeah, you can't say that on the video. No, no, no, no, no, no. He should replay it. He won. I guess that's on us. The first part was on tour. The replay. That's on us. It's a good point. What's on the show today, Hart? So we'll lead off with my boy JB where Yeah, what happened? I did. No idea. Doesn't this feel like there's more to the story. Something personal. Like remember the rumors with Roberto Alamar back in the day. There were always like rumors and stuff why he lost it. Yep. I mean, you barely got touched. You try to flop and then you lost your mind. Yeah, so we'll get into that. I got dubbed a JB Hater on Twitter last night. I don't think I'll get a change here. Yeah, I don't think I'll show a little objectivity on a guy that you've been kind of glazing for 10 years and kind of kind of. Yeah, kind of. Good Lord. Big load. So, gentlemen, Catherine will join us at 430. Got a little red socks. All right. We're obviously going to get into Derosa in the whoops dumbest thing ever done. Yeah, which I think they just proved they don't even care. In a league where they

can tell you the spin rate of a pitch, they didn't know how they could advance in a tournament. Your point. I mean, dads on travel ball all over New England knew this. Yeah, I saw so many of those tweets. Everybody knows it's runs allowed and every team has a dad that like keeps track of all the ways you wait. That's like that's like a uniform tiebreaker in these tournaments. Yeah, because it's like you can't run the score up. So it's the exact opposite. It's runs a lot. I think some use of differential runs allowed it because run differential. Because there's mercy on this too. I think it comes from you and those travel ball and there's always a dad that knows what they're doing. They need a team dad. They do. They need a team dad on team USA. Sad. And now they just crossed their fingers. Okay, you know, well, that's coming up today. W.E.I. after you got her. Yeah, God, it's a you got 10. The crossover brought to you by the 99 restaurant.
