EP22: How weight loss literally led to a dream come true for Tracey After being told she was just “big boned” by her mum, from a young age Tracey had come to accept she was overweight and for many years this was her reality. After medical complications and a PCOS diagnosis in her 20’s, Tracey was given difficult news that she would be unlikely to be able to have children. The fact Tracey had no body image issues and was living a happy life meant there had not been a feeling of needing to lose weight until a decision to begin the process of visiting a fertility clinic to start family. Knowing that her current weight would have prevented this moving ahead, she made the choice to begin her weight loss journey. Tracey joined a local SW group and is the first to admit she was a little sceptical but gave it the benefit of the doubt.
