How We Should and Should Not Respond to the Hamas Massacre | 10/30/23

About this episode

With three weeks of observations since the Hamas genocide against Jews, we can now reflect with a more clear-eyed strategic approach. Today, I make the case that from both an America First and a pro-Israel standpoint, I’d rather we focus on divesting from the Middle East, defunding Israel’s enemies, breaking Biden’s alliances, and protecting our own shores from the growth of Muslim anti-Semitism than on simply sending Israel more money. Biden is using that money as leverage to handcuff Israel. Also, I share some nascent concern that Speaker Johnson has no appetite for a government shutdown fight and that we might actually have less leverage with him than with McCarthy. Finally, I provide some new statistics on how we are bankrupt as a nation.
