How to Trust Yourself to Know What You Know - Wellbeing Wisdom Tiny Bites Podcast

About this episode

Have you ever owned a dog, and as it approached the end of life, you wondered how you’d know when it was time to say goodbye? If your experience was like most peoples’ you were told “you’ll know when it’s time.”

That was a very unsatisfying answer, wasn’t it? You wanted something concrete, not something woo-woo. And then, it happened – you knew. Your dog told you, though not with words.

Once you’ve had the experience, it becomes easier because now you can trust what others shared with you – you will know. All you have to do is trust yourself to hear your dog’s unspoken message and love your dog enough to act on that message when you get it.

That works in other parts of your life, too. When there’s something you’d like to understand, remind yourself to tune in to it. Trust yourself enough to pick up the information you need, and trust yourself to act on that information when you get it.

We understand things at many levels, some that science doesn’t yet understand. Trust yourself. You’ll understand.
