About this episode

How to Run for a Purpose and set Massive Goals with Aum Gandhi

Can running for a bigger cause than yourself make you a better athlete? Absolutely. And in fact, it will lead to a more fulfilling life. Our guest today, Aum Gandhi, proves that. Aum is a Merrell Trail Athlete, Ultrarunner, freelance writer, and contributing author to Run Tri Bike Magazine.

Recently, Aum completed the 72-hour race at Aravaipa Running’s Across the Years festival. And while that accomplishment alone is inspiring, he also raised over $2,500 for the Richstone Family Foundation along the journey. And in nearly every race he’s accomplished, he’s done so with a bigger cause in mind.

In this episode, Aum and I talk about why being a service-led runner can change your life for the better, his inspiring story, and how you can approach goal-setting when you’re on your endurance journey.
