some carelessness or spend 10 minutes adding a few preventative measures to make sure that it never happens? I think you will probably choose number two, right? What a thing is, a lot of us sabotage our own lives. A lot of us go through a lot of things and they could be avoided. There's an old saying that I love and it goes. An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. A lot of people wait till they get sick. They wait till they only deathbed to finally go to the hospital. There's a bunch of people who will ride around in their car until it's about to blow up. Now they want to take it to the mechanic shop and you wonder why your issues are so extreme? You got to cut things out before they happen. A lot of times in life, you're able to stop. Look around and say, that is not good for me. That person is not good for me. If I go there, if I go there, this might happen to me. If I keep hanging with them, this might happen. A lot of times you can think through situations. Now, sometimes you can sit there and use days, hours, weeks, and think through a situation

that still may not happen the way you think, right? But at least you try to see a way through it. You can give yourself a pat on the back for that because that's happened to me before. I've thought something about a person. I've thought something about a situation, right? And it happened a whole other way, but that also taught me to not have so many expectations. I've got expectations for myself. Trust people to be who they are. If I see a snake, that's a snake. If I see a dog, that's a dog. I'm not looking at the snake going, hey, look at the cute puppy and then it bite me. No. I've already took the preventative measure. That is a snake. Even if I'm not afraid of it, it's still a snake. I see it there, right? So you have to prepare yourself the situation so you just don't fall into unnecessary fire because that's the thing about life that I've realized. You got to go through stuff for garlics. Going through things is a beautiful thing, right? When you're getting chiseled down. Don't look at it as you're getting broken down. You're getting chiseled down so the real artwork is being able to show itself. But a lot of times you could speed up that process by five, ten years and I'm being very strange.

But you could speed up that process by five, ten years if you don't stop going into these dips, right? Let's say your goal is here. You could literally take a trajectory like this, but here we go. We got to chase that person who don't want us and then we come back up and all we got to spend all our money because it is. And then we keep going up and now we just don't feel like doing that. So we, and it's like, Brian, you really could, you could take that, you could take that route and get there quicker, right? Are you going to learn a lot on these? Absolutely. And that's a beautiful thing. That is a very beautiful thing. But the work that it requires to undo all of that, it's not worth it unless you make it, right? I've made a bunch of mistakes in my life. Having we all were human, right? Well, when I make these mistakes, I literally sit there and I over analyze them. Not in the bad way. I'm not sitting there. Oh, you stupid person. And you shouldn't have did this. I'll have my days where I talk to myself like I'm crazy. Like, you come on, dummy. Like, what was you doing? I have those days. I have to talk to myself like that.

But I sit there and analyze, okay, from my perspective, what I do right? What I do wrong? From their perspective, what I do right? What I do wrong? From this perspective, and I try to figure out whatever I have been through in 20 different ways so that I understand it through and through so that I will never make that mistake. Again, you take a car, for example, I bought a car, got finesse, right? High interest rate, year to date. I'm paying down on the car and I realize I've paid nothing because they don't tell you that when you just paid once a month, half of that money goes to the principal, half of a ghost to interest. So year to date, you just been paying interest. And then if the car value goes down, but the loan value is still going up, you got negative equity. I didn't know all of that. I'm purchasing the car. I fixed that situation now. You know, but they don't tell you that type of stuff. If somebody would have told me that if I were to did the research for that, I could have prevented throwing $15,000 down the drain. Now, when I look at it, I always find a way to finesse life and look at the better outcome of something. I was hit then tell them, I said, yeah, I just leased the car for a year and then I gave

it back. Since I have nothing to show for it, if I was to get rid of it, like I'm always the mental gymnastics, I can do that all day. Now, when it comes to taking reality and being real, I don't have no problem with that either. But what really made me want to make this video is the other night, I'm sitting there on my computer and I'm editing. And I had took a little week, a little cheat week and start eating some BS and I got this dilemma that I have every now and then. There are certain foods, there are certain things that I can eat that make me feel absolutely terrible. And they don't even necessarily have to be unhealthy foods. I'm allergic to cashews, but I have a conspiracy that it's the type of cashews that make me have an allergic reaction. So I try cashews and I break out and then I try another brand and I break out and then I try unsalted and I break out and then I try honey roasted and I still break out and I blame it on something else because it's like every time I try to cashews, I also try something else that's outside of my normal palate that will probably make me react that way. But the verdict is I'm allergic to cashews, I mess up the stashio, so forget it.

But those are the types of battles that I have and this is not a life changing thing right, but just showing you, instead of me saying alright, this has happened to me several times, I still go try to down pistachios. There's a certain sandwich I like is very spicy. Every time I get it, it makes me sick but it is so good. So I'll take a month off of it and then I pass by the restaurant and I'm like, I got to try today. Do it again, stomach tore up. A month go by, I got to try it again. Maybe this time if I if I coke my stomach with potatoes first, it still do the same thing. I did it to myself the other day. I even took some pep dough to try to prevent it right? It still did not work so now I'm off of it. I'm off of it because I have to stay true to the soil but the other night when I was editing, I start itching, I start. How do you want to split it? Actually dinner's on me. Okay big money. Well I got a Venmo balance that I can spend with my Venmo debit master card so. Well I Venmo'd you three times last week so it's kinda on me actually.

Yeah, you send it, I spend it. Did my money get like green carded? He has chicken shorba. Want it back? I can't believe you like ate my Venmo. Spend your balance instantly with the Venmo debit card. No monthly fee or minimum balance. Venmo balance account required to get a card and use a balance. Venmo master card is issued by the bank court bank NA. Either I've been exposed to something, maybe it was a product I don't even use that many products but something has happened that's irritated my skin. My skin is pretty sensitive. So what did I do?

I stopped what I was doing. I went to the restroom. I got a hot towel, warm my face up and then I got some cold water and I splashed my face into my face was like damn there stone. Then I took some clay. I got a clay mask, rubbed a clay mask on there, went to sleep with the clay mask on which you're not supposed to do. When I woke up my face felt so good. I woke up in the morning and I forgot to mention before I went to sleep I rubbed my skin so much that my face started to like whip up as it was just irritated and I was kind of scratch. I wasn't clawing my face but just too much. It caused like whips on my face and my neck. But when I put the clay mask on and I went to sleep I woke up and I rubbed my face and it was like my face had got scraped off. It was so smooth and I felt so good. So I go looking at mirror. I got clay mask here, clay mask here, it's blotchy because I've been sleeping and rolling around. But when I got up and watched the clay mask on it was gone. So I still don't know what happened but instead of me allowing it to just happen I attacked

it as soon as it shows signs. Now those revelations come to be of my life all the time and it's those simple things that I that's how I kind of navigate like I take everything as some sort of sign or as some sort of lesson. And that's just what it is. And it's crazy too because I just got the package in. I ran out of my clay mask from TeachHandley if y'all didn't know. That's the skincare brand that I use. If you look at the skincare it's pretty solid. If you click the link in the bottom you get 40% off on the first box. You sign up, get 20% off of life and you get a free gift. You know what I'm saying? I recommend start with the level one box. So you get the moisturizer, the cleanser, AM moisturizer, PM. You get an exfoliating scrub and yeah it's some pretty small stuff. You know what I'm saying? I stand by to actually use it and you see the face. But the the time and the things is just be hilarious to me but it's just be hilarious to me because they had just emailed me about a new product that I wanted to try out and then a few days later I'm over here.

You know what I'm saying? Scraping my damn skin off because I don't know what the hell attacked me but you know what I'm saying? If you look up the skincare definitely check it out. It's pretty solid. But I just want you to really understand the power of neglect and how things can build up in your life. And that goes for physical, mental, anything. Financial, spiritual but when you see a problem and you ignore it, that problem is steady growing because life has this funny way of feeding issues, feeding problems or whatever you want in life. It has this funny way of feeding things. Like I said the car for example you copy your car and the car rattling and you're like ah next week I check it out. And then the next week you got a rattle over here and a rattle back here and you're like what the hell? You like you know what I'm going to get it next week. Now this tire up front is messed up. You don't want to mess with it either you don't wait the next week and now the tire in the back is messed up. So you know what I'm just going to fix the tire. You fix this tire and I just tire messed up. You're like what damn man now I got to fix this tire back hey you fix that tire and I got that one up front mess up.

You like damn I can't catch a break so now you're going to get an oil change and they tell you that your battery bad and some most of it is like probably why is life piling up on me because you not dish in things out the way you supposed to. When you steady cutting things off the top and you steady chopping things down at a nice rate when you steady preventing things and taking those preventative measures life doesn't attack you all at once. That's why it's so important to not overwhelm yourself for one because that's what we do. It's so easy for us to look at an issue and say oh my god I have to deal with so much that is a mountain of trouble. No that's a mountain of trouble let me start with the top slice the top off okay we got down the top let me let me mess with the middle for a little while mess with the middle for a little while now you're at the base of it the worst part right now you weave through all that could get all the roots get all the tectonic plates out of the earth get it all out but you breaking it down piece by piece by piece you chisel away at that project don't sit here and look at the bigger picture but look at the bigger picture you know what I'm saying don't be overwhelmed by the projection that you put now on what's in

front of you but it's very important to chop it down into smaller pieces. There's a technique called blocking I think or chunks chunk learn or something like that you take a phone number for example you look at a phone number blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. You got three digits three digits for a digits if you aren't you have another country other than the US, I don't really know what you got. Right, you got the area code, you got the communications line, the transfer and code, whatever it's called, and then you got the line number. When somebody just tell you a number, they just spit out all those numbers, and you're like, what? It's 10 digits. But if somebody break it down, it's like, all right, where they from? Say, okay, the area code is that, and then you say, all right, well, let me remember the last four digits. Boom, you got that, and then you're feeling that middle. If you practice like that, area code, last four, middle, you will learn so many numbers, whatever it is in life, like guitar. You don't sit there and learn all of the song, and one take, you would literally never learn anything. You learn the first part, the intro.

Learn the intro. Well, you learn the rhythm first, actually, you learn the rhythm, because if it's a song going, da da da da da, da da, you don't just learn da da da, you learn da da da da, da da da, da da, da da, da da, da, da, da, da da da, da da da, da da da, da da da, da da da da, and you just keep building up the speed, you get the rhythm down, you start learning the notes, you learn the intro part, the next part, the next part, the next part, and then you start playing through. You get what I'm saying. How do you want to split it? Actually, dinner's on me. No, okay, big money. Well, I got a Venmo balance that I can spend with my Venmo debit master card, so. Well, I Venmoed you three times last week, so it's kinda on me, actually. Yeah, you send it, I spend it. Did my money get like green card needed? Yeah, it's chicken shorba. We want it back? I can't believe you like ate my Venmo. Spend your balance instantly with the Venmo debit card, no monthly fee or minimum balance. Venmo balance account required to get a card

and use a balance. Venmo master card is issued by the bank court bank NA. Hey, this is Riley Green, and I'm here to warn you about the dangers of hey dude shoes. Let's make it simple for yourself. I promise you. I promise you, I promise you, I promise you, and I promise you. Making things simpler for yourself, not overwhelming yourself, you will get through a lot of the issues that you have. Right now.

So I want you to remember, I want you to make this promise to me, but not only me, but make it to yourself. You look at yourself in a mirror, you look at yourself in your hand, look at yourself in your hand, look at yourself in a camera, whatever you got to do. But just remind yourself that whatever you are going through, you can and you will overcome it. And you promise to not overwhelm yourself, you promise to give yourself grace, but also be stern. Because we all need a little fire under our feet, because a lot of times we can get the cold feet and go to land down and be in babies. You know what I'm saying? But you got to promise to be there for yourself. You got to promise to break things down for yourself and make things digestible. You feel what I'm saying? I don't expect you to go into a buffet and eat everything. You start with a section, and a section and a section, and you get what you want. And then when you're done, you get out of there. Deal with your issues the same way. You don't eat all in everything on the buffet.

You can. If you can, shout out. I can't. And I'm not going to try to. You feel what I'm saying? I deal with my priorities. You get my priorities straight. And then I cut to the cheese. You feel me? Yeah, that's my spill for today. Like I said, everything I mentioned was actually a real reason and a motivation behind this video. Right now on the forefront of my mind, what I'm dealing with is getting a bunch of projects off the ground. Y'all have seen me launch a few things, got my clothes coming, got some mentorship, opportunities and things, and also just dealing with my finances and just tying everything together. Also learning to take a break in life. I'll be up and down all over the damn world, moving around, trying to do everything for everybody. And I just have to remind myself to slow down and prevent that burnout. Because the cure for burnout,

it's damn there nonexistent. And when you take yourself to that limit of true burnout, especially creative burnout, it is so hard to recover. So now, hey, I ejecto Cto myself when it starts getting hot, boom. Da da da da da da, I'm out of there. So I'll be having to learn to take my own little breaks and stuff, but I'm tying a few things together in my own life. And I just wanted to share that with y'all and in the month off on the right foot, you know what I'm saying? We already go on into October. Yeah, we already go on into October, but it's pretty crazy how fast time is going. I just don't want y'all to get lost in the sauce because it can easily get that way in life. But yeah, that is my spill. It's your voice and mind, David's back with another one, alive and well, in the flesh per usual. Everything is good. It gotta be. And if it ain't, it will be because it shall be.

You feel me? I love you. You take care of yourself. And I don't know what the hell to do with my hands, so. Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh! Push your limits, train with precision, see the results. At Equinox,
