Whenever you put anything warm inside your guts, it's supposed to help you. Try to just things out. Yeah. It makes you go. Okay. It says your guts for show. You quit inside your guts. Have we got you off the mic? We do. I'm going to start with the conversation. What are some things that were once rare in the NBA that have really become the norm? If you kind of need it, just a second to think about it. Shootin' trees on a fast break.

1:00Hey, I had a list. And that was one of the first things on the shootin' threes and pull ups on the fast break. Yeah. And my day of basketball, I would have got you taken out of the game. I would have got you scolded. You would have gotten trouble. Yeah. Actually. And now, I think sometimes you could get a trouble for not doing it. I would also say, base getting offensive rebounds and immediately looking to pass it out for the three-point shot. I feel like back in the day, if you're big at the office of rebound, they're taking that up. Because the two was easier than the three. Dependent. I'll have some teammates where he was definitely like, hey, kick that out. They should throw that out, big fella, right? You don't throw that out, right? Because you missed the two layups, right? I appreciate your big fella. All five players have the luxury of grabbing and go. You know, you used to be just found your point guard to get this break started. And then the big fella is like, I got this. Almost like across every team. It feels like. Got just got the lead way to drumming down.

2:01Just take it up. Drumming. Just go. Stuff like that is just like, I don't know. I got to understand it, right? Because these are NBA players at the end of the day, right? And you don't want the defense to set up. So let's just run. Let's just go. It's a lot of things, man. The game is completely different than 10 years ago. And even crazier that compared to 20 years ago. Yeah. I had also put down just the amount of free throws that players get. I think that especially just like the 20 free throw mark usually felt like the Kobe is there. The car mellows would get in and even like superstars wouldn't even really get to that 20 benchmark. But like now we have like all stars that can shoot 20 free throws in the game. People are just like kind of adapted to trying to get to the line. It's like, it used to be really a superstar call thing. But now we see a lot of players get there. Yeah. I can see that. But I also feel like super yes. Also, I love the players. I feel like they come and go. Why wouldn't comes to the free throw thing?

3:02But the superstars, I feel like they always want to get that. Do you know of league wide free throws up in comparison to when we were younger? Or you just saying, No, just a feeling of it. Like I've seen Denny shoot 20 free throws before. And as it's like, people that shot free throws, it's like Shaq can shoot 20 free throws in the game. Because he's just going to get fed that much. But we see players kind of like of all different styles. They just get to the line. You know, another one is, obviously I feel like the score and just 50 point games in general. So diluted. Yeah. I mean, when Terrence raw score 50, he was a super big deal. Because it's like, we just, role players didn't usually score 50. Now I think the, we see a role player score 50 is like, yeah, see the highlights in the morning or something like that. So dang. That's how you feel. If you get a notification that's so and so player got 40, you know, like, all let me see if they do that. I do. I do. But I'm just saying, I was going to say, I feel like that wasn't one of them like, wait, what? I felt like that was one of the last ones. I was getting to that point. I think the Malachi was a, how many, how many 54 games you think we've had this season so far?

4:03Wait, 12 games left each team. 12 games. I don't feel like we've had a lot. Probably like four. Four. Four. Five. Four. We just had almost two in one game. 83. I'm going to say, I'll say 12. I say like 15. The number is 14. Yeah, we have 14 of them. I'm starting off with Eric Gordon. You set the season off. Yeah. It was a little 50 ball. They don't feel like we've had a lot of the season. I wonder what that is. Wow. This comparison. Four is very crazy. Yeah. I feel like I just, I didn't watch to pull more. Four of them may have happened this month alone. They feel like, Luke ahead of 50 peace against the bulls. Bandon had his 80. Yeah. Daven Booker might have had a 40 ball against the South. Daven Booker in. Jaylen Brown had 40 in the same game. So Daven Booker, you're four right there. Yeah. We got more news this morning. The K Cunningham is going to be missing some extended time with a collapse lung. Which is just super unfortunate for all parties.

5:03It's unfortunate for the fans. Obviously we love watching K. It's unfortunate for K. Because I haven't had a collapse lung, but my wife's brother has. And the way he talked about it, you might as well put a bullet in his head. Like that's how painful it was. But also, he's only played 61 games, y'all. K Cunningham is an all in a first team candidate. And there's a world, depending on how he recovers from this, where he doesn't even qualify for all NBA just like that. Which is, that's so crazy to me, because he obviously has a lot to make the top two teams, maybe even for a lot of people, a lot to make the first team. And now, depending on how he recovers, he may not make it at all. Yeah, this is really unfortunate. And you've got to, you never want to deal with an injury going into the playoffs. I don't know what it's like to play coming off of a collapse lung. I've never had this issue. So, I could only imagine that cardio-wise it's probably going to be some sort of adjustment once he does come back. And that's just not something you want to deal with going into your first round playoff series. Yeah, I saw this morning, because a lot of people, obviously, have seen the news of all the different cases in recent history of people in the NBA, have had collapsed lung.

6:04So, he's McCullum had two. One time, it kept him out three weeks, one time, it kept him out six weeks. There's another guy who was this out two weeks. So, like, it can definitely vary as just depending on Cade's recovery. The thing about it, too, is like, there was a time where I thought I made have had it collapsed lung because it, it does, it's something with your back. So, like, Cade Cunningham first was reported as having a back issue. So, that's also the lingering thing, to even once he recovers from the collapse of lung, you hope that, because you're back. Hey, man. That's how you move, man. Your back is the most important thing. I was just dealing with back tightness, the whole past week. And I can imagine playing basketball. You know what I mean? It's just me trying to. Trying to guard up on somebody. Yeah. I'm just sitting around a crib, you know, but like, actually trying to be with it. He got, just, just, oh jeers somebody, just pressing them all the way up the court and you're back. He's like, yeah, yeah. And then like, I keep thinking about,

7:04let's say he does miss, yeah, just the two weeks, three weeks, and he does have enough games to maybe get to that. That's what we're going to project. Yeah. Because of the rule, they're going to do the three weeks. And even if he's not 100%, and I just, I hate that idea. Boom. Yeah. I think that's the short, like the bad side of the stick with the, the new 65 rule, is, I don't know, this is not what they kind of wanted to prevent. Like they wanted to prevent people from sitting out and doing all the, the, the rest management, having him miss all the NBA team and not really getting the accolades because of the 65, it does, doesn't tell the story of the whole season. It reminds me of making a rule for your kid. Hey, don't answer the door for anybody. And you come with a handful of groceries and you like, open a door with me. You said not to open a door for anybody. Yeah. Yeah. His mom had told him not to open a door. And his grandma was at the door. He was at the door talking about I live. Yeah. He said apparently not if he ain't got no kid. Yeah.

8:04Yeah. That's really what it's about. Just trying to rush it back. I just feel like there's no, no good that can happen from that. Um, if there's any silver lining, Kate is not one of those extension eligible guys. You already got his Supermax extension. So the money is not going to change. But I would be just really surprised if we're two years from now in the 65 game rules still exists. It's just, I just did like a mock all in the 18. Not only the 13 is good, but it don't feel like it's going to seem to me. You know, and now Kate's gone. God. At least some of the people that was James Harden. Welcome to all NBA. It was like a really good player. But I think the story comes down to like what are the games look like? If it's like that in teams or I mean, players are only having 60 games played and they're only missing about a handful of games. I think that's more so the story. But if players are legit missing the time, I think it's like, it's fine. But 60, 61, 62. I don't like those. I think Kate might be the first actual case that we have. Of, you know, you remember when they first originally said, like, hey, if you close, you can send it to the league and they'll decide, Kate might be the first person to actually be able to do that.

9:04If he misses all NBA back four games, because he's at 61 right now. If he misses about four games while having one of the seven best seasons in the NBA, they better write in and the NBA better give him a good play. I mean, there's a couple of, I mean, when he, again, he could knock on wood. He has to miss a game. Just say for illness or whatever. Like, it's going to start creeping towards it. And there's a couple of players you don't want to take them out of the history books for this year, because they've just been so great. Hopefully they do that. Hopefully they don't press to get every game. And they miss a game or two and you're sitting into the league. So we can start that established rule and a thumb knowing that, hey, you ain't got to break your neck for specifically 65. I mean, you play 63 games, you're good, bro. Yeah. Because that would be as a nine. With three and a half game different between them and the Celtics, do you think the Pistons keep that one C for the rest of the year if Kate doesn't play? It's going to be tough. Especially, yeah, especially with double digit games love. That's what we tell. Yeah. It's going to be tough. Yeah. 10:04on the board. I know we are excited for March Madness and we can get into some things with that. But I did want to say, for me personally, y'all let me know if you all agree, disagree, this is an open conversation or write a wrong answer. Yesterday was a tough, one of those tough days for me. So I'm already in a point at a season where I'm struggling because I am so into the college basketball world. But I also know I have a duty and a job to do to keep up with the NBA and it's getting close and close to the playoffs. So you want to kind of get your gears ready. But last night to me was one of those nights that kind of had me a little frustrated with the NBA. I felt like last night was some BS, almost every game. I said, I'll text. I looked, I was going, I was watching, I forget what game. I was watching Clippers versus Pelicans. And the Pelicans were turning a ball over at a disgusting rate. I think they had eight turnovers in the first quarter to the Clippers none. And they came back. And they did come back and went. But as I'm looking to potentially switch the game,

11:05every game was disgusting. Really the thunder and the nets was crazy. Yeah. But then I was very excited for that game too. Then I'm looking at another game. 12 point lead here. 14 point lead there. 16 points down about 30 going into half. And I text y'all like, it's crazy. And then we just talked about it in between blocks of like the y'all want to talk about anything and be related and out. So we're just like, we can try, but I don't really have much because I, like I refuse to sit there and watch BS because it's called unquote March. Yeah. The nets tied to franchise record for the lowest amount of points going to halftime. They had 20, I think they had 23 points going to halftime. I just don't, that's just unheard of. Look at me having that in the first quarter. Shout to prices though. Right since the bar did have another 40 point game. In a 30 point loss. So shout to hell. Shout out to Bryce. I mean, I gave what you saying for sure. It's just, I think it also plays at a part of the length of the season, right? And especially the, the goals of these NBA teams. Because,

12:05not that we could have predicted that it will be seven 20 point games. But you see, like, playoff team versus Bond Feed. And we kind of be like, okay, okay, C's going to Brooklyn. They probably going to win by a lot of points. And you kind of felt that. And that's why at this point we're going to have two games. And like, this is my, it's Lakers versus Rockets is my game of the night. And you know what, if anything else gets close, then I'll tune in. Like the grizzies beating up on the nuggets. I tune into that one for the last quarter. Because that was a close game. That was a discussion. Shout out to Ty Jerome. Shout out to Ty Jerome. Did the nuggets have like 20 plus turnovers? Ten of those was yokets from South America. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was just like, yokets has more turnovers than assists. Like, this is unheard of. That's not in the Coli yokets. It's, um, like, the last one. So, but no, I, I could clearly understand it. I think that what's disingenuous is like, I think Bill Simmons made the tweet of like screenshot in that OKC score versus the, the Brooklyn score like, um, sarcastically saying, yeah, let's expand the league for two more teams. They're like, trying to showcase that the league is not

13:05that deep where it can't afford two teams. And I just feel like that's so disingenuous. Because you can, you can take a screenshot of so many random days of like a super blowout. And that doesn't show the value of the teams across the league, if that makes sense. Yeah. Just a few years ago, the OKC Thunder lost the game by 72 points, and then they won the championship two years later. So like, it's going to be times where you have these super bad teams going to lose by 20, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't expand, or that doesn't mean that the league isn't super talented. You also have to remember what the goals of these teams are. The Brooklyn that's could very well put together a good-ish team next season if they wanted to. They just don't, didn't want to this season because this is the one year they have their own. I feel dumb. But damn it. I mean, you're going to have the kids in a city. You shouldn't want to have 23 points at the hat. Oh, 100%. That's all we say. You don't even plan on something like that. You can lose some games. I'm with you. Build your team up. Do it everything you got to do. But I mean, you got people in your city that is paying money because this is my thing. If you're going to have that approach and give us 23 points

14:05a time, you see home game. Look, hey, them fans go crazy over there. Right, yeah. But Brooklyn that's if I got the ASCick at home as well. No, no, no, no. This was a Brooklyn game. And they had no kids. Because the fans was cursed. Give those tickets away. Get them tickets away. I'm a big fan of that, man. If you're going to lose on purpose. I'm not saying you can't make no money. I'm not saying that you give four seats away. But like do something that do a night. Hey, man. Yeah, I'm a big fan of that. If you go and have asked your fans, didn't like give them some rewards, some reward back. You know, I'm not saying they can't make money. They have to make money. And the business is going to be a lot of money. But I think you do a service to your fans when you acknowledge, hey, you know what? We are thinking we've been taking for a couple of minutes, not today. This is an NBA. We've been taking for some years. We do have a blue collar city behind us that we still want to be engaged throughout this period because we do want to put together a winner. So we're going to pay it

15:05for for y'all by having a certain night. And yeah, it's just something. Something. You know what I mean? It's not my job to come up with the plan for them. But man, it ain't nothing to sell the kids to bring in a report cars. And if you guys, you are three or more a's, you get to get a free ticket. There's a lot of a's, man. It's very simple. Very simple. Very simple. I don't actually think she sounds like a cool ass incentive. Yeah. Just something. I'm still thinking about that the bill Simmons come into just because I'm looking at a lot of these raw especially the teams are just going to be dislating the season. So many players are sitting out. Like teams are playing not even really close to 100%. They don't even have their top players out there some of the time. Again, I was fake excited for this game right? Yeah. I tuned in. And then let me see what this guy's name is. I tuned in. And Malachi Smith was playing for the first quarter minutes. Malachi Smith checked in the first quarter. And I did something I've done a lot this last week and a half. He had Google and that. He had the Google and that.

16:05Who is this guy? And where is he from? Gonzaga. He also, I don't actually see this one. He's got that one. Oh, he did. He did. I was patched. So shout out to you for your NBA Navy with everything. I even played 10 guys in the first half. Jalen Wilson had a little 15. I was fake excited for it because I really like Jordy Fernandez. And I think that he's a very good schemer. So I want to see what he did against Shay. And they sent two bodies at him like late doubles and Shay just picked the party. He was just magical. Yeah. He still had 40. But again, I had to turn the game off about halfway through the second quarter because it was like I think we also do get the good games like the Lakers versus Rockets, which I feel like there's nothing new to say because we just saw this match up tonight to go other than Luke continuing to be ridiculous and Braun. Roll player, Braun still dropping 30. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Two shots in the fourth quarter. Yeah. I think. Again, I'm going to say something real quick about the Lakers. I get to the Rockets. But again, I thought this game was going to be a lot tougher just in it.

17:05They did fight back. And you know, they definitely had their runs. But it's just harder to be the team twice in that short span of time. And you would think, you know, the adjustments are being made. And we just know how to prepare. Yeah. I'll say it's single. Single and being back was also another factor. But we were kind of able to just do what we did. And again, it's being consistent on that level. That's what separates a lot of these great teams from just the good teams and the better teams. Is there able to do this on a nightly basis? And for the last couple of games, the Lakers have done an on a nightly basis. How y'all feel about eating squat or y'all buying it? He basically said that he looked in the mirror and said, I'm not that guy. I'm not that guy. Oh, I love it. I'm 100% buying it. When did he say that? Like a few days ago. Okay. So he's got like three game two games. Yeah. Because him and Luca in that pick and roll. They just hunt his shingo. And I read this morning. It was a 1.7 points per possession out of a pick and roll with shingo and was guard, which is like, you run that. You never lose a basketball game, you know. So yeah, it was cool. A lot of conversations

18:05about him being like. Luca, EVP stuff? How do y'all feel about that? I think he he's definitely dessert. He should be in the conversation for sure. Is he number one number two, number three, or y'all battle today? Obviously with Luca 13. No, he would be number two. I sure. I put him at three. What if you're not a EVP? I don't give it to you. You know, we always make a fool out of it. It's two or three. I think she's still not working. We did so much talking about the shei stuff with the, especially against the knuckers game. I'm not about to just all of a sudden, because we I think that's, I think he's out of real arguing for two. I think Shay's still one, but I think you could, you could make a argument for him over Wimbenyama and Yo-Kitch at this point in the season. Well, in that way, I have no idea. Yeah, not. Could he close the gap between him and Shay these days? It would be, I think it would be really, really tough, man. They would have to, like, finish the season, like, damn down the feed and... Yeah, it would be really, really tough. The way they play it ain't impossible. It definitely ain't impossible. I'm about to make a video about Joe Lakers and I gotta send the first minute... 19:07a team and then they lose, like, look at Kenny Jinks and the team, because they go against the mind of the heat, and I read this morning that they didn't land until 6am. So it's like... That's okay. This is the schedule of... Lebron is the third option for the Lakers has been, like, the most amazing thing ever. Like, Austin Reeves. Him as a player operates more with the ball and just being the second option, and Lebron is just such a great player. He just drives kind of wherever. I wouldn't be surprised if Lebron doesn't play tonight, because he said he didn't feel good playing yesterday. That's my hand. He dumped the ball six times, it's in my hand. Out. Dr. Balls is sad. That's sad. That way he's kind of in the bass lines, like, I don't even know. Like, I'm in Thompson. Well, look at the whom they love, Lebron. Ooh. Ooh. I mean, the first lob... Yeah, I felt like this 12 and a half seemed very gettable for Devin Vaseo, or especially over the last four games he's hit this three times.

22:10So I'm feeling pretty confident in this. This is a dude that can go out there and get you a bucket. And I think that's what he's going to do tonight against Phoenix. Okay. Where should we know Dylan Brooks? I think the game of the day is probably the Lakers Heat Game. I feel like any game right now with that Lucas playing as the game tonight. The game of the day if we be in on this. It's Troy is on this piece of paper. It's definitely going to be a lot of games. So y'all keep on my pick six for me because I won't be watching NBA today. I'm looking at a Duke is a 27 and a half point favorite versus Sienna. Oh, I think I know. I think I know. Let me tell you this. Sienna has a guy on 18. Brennan Coyle who shoots eight shots a game. Right. I had those eight shots. Seven are three. He's six seven. What do you think he shoots from three? 80%. 40. The reason the reason I was about to say it's got to be something really. He shoots 29% from three, but he shoots seven. Three is a game out of his eight attempts. That's a coach. Shooter shoot. And he's seven.

23:10Where do you count Mr. Shoot if he shoots 20? He shot 42 pointers this year. Uh-huh. He's six seven. Yeah. Same like upside. Cause he might get hot tonight. Yeah. That's not even a big spread though. Because Michigan is favored by 31 and a half versus Howard. I like that. 31 and a half. Shot to Blake Harper. He should have stayed at Howard. 31 and a half. 31 and a half is nuts. You got to see that and go out there. You dare you can't. Yeah, you can't. You like. I don't know. 24:11So it is March Madness. Today is Thursday, the games actually kick off pretty soon. I know y'all are not guys that love or not. No, no, no, y'all love March Madness. Everybody loves March Madness. Y'all don't keep up with college basketball throughout the season. Which I think is incredible personally. I think this makes for great conversation, great bracket talk. I had a lot of people, y'all probably know similar people as well, where their job, school or something is doing a bracket challenge. And they probably feel like, oh, I don't watch college basketball. But I like those out of people that should do it. So when y'all have taken a glance at y'all brackets over the last few days, give me some of the upsets that y'all pick and tell me why it might be logo based. It might be, you know, you heard something. Y'all don't strike me as I'm going to watch some YouTube videos about the tournament. So take us into the mind of the unknowns. Yeah, for one of my upsets, I have the Akron Zips beat in Texas Tech.

25:13You got to look at a lot of these like hot teams coming into the tournament. And they're definitely one of them. I'm also looking at the other side where Texas Tech lost JT Topping. Is that just making an easy game for Akron? Absolutely not. Still going to be a tough game. But it's going to be a factor. And for one of these like lower C to teams, all I'd be taking is that one win to really get the confidence going and to really spark a run. So after the zips in college football, they're the worst team in the game. They are. Yeah. Like a 508 rate. And that's a team called the basketball. Did you build them up? I have done a rebuild of them. Absolutely. They got nice facility. I know. They got a guard. They got a guard drew like, so I hope you will tune in and watch the game. I enjoy my relationships and I'm biased. So I'm picking Christian Anderson in Texas Tech. Shut up to them. I'm biased. I don't care. Um, I'm, I'm anti UNC every year. I want to pick them to lose in the first round every season. But I'm, I definitely, I don't know if I've had a single bracket where UNC has been in the sweet 16.

26:13Like I'm always picking against them. And I'm picking against them in the first round. Okay. Good old fashioned VCU win. I like when he was kids. Give me, give me the 11C VCU overnight. You got a good freshman guard. I picked McNeese over Vanderbilt in the first round. That's so hilarious. For the people at home, the reason they just made that. No, no. I did this yesterday. 30:16I really like Kingston Fleming, just a young guy that's really got a lot of game. I mean, people always talk about these guys, like turn over your size and all that, but like not all these young guys can be perfect, but for him to be 19 and doing the stuff that he's doing kind of like leading this team, Houston has always been that team that's been super physical, especially last year. Their offense just wasn't that good, but this year they have a pretty decent offense, which is good for you, so I like riding with them for this year. So I like you locked in a little, that at the analysis, I sound like you're an analysis. Yeah, I'm a watching. So you say you like them, you have them as like the winner of the entire tourney? Yeah. Oh, am I, yeah, am I team this tourney? It was just funny. He called it toothy, he's Cinderella. He didn't. He said we was on the topic of Cinderella. Oh, yeah, on the topic. But he's talking about a team that ain't a Cinderella. Okay. I like Houston too. I had Northern Iowa going on like a Cinderella run. What's that to you? 31:17Okay. Okay. Take out St. John's in Kansas. Wow. Micah team, I want you to watch. If you have time, Ohio State. This is going to be one of the first games. We might still be here when that's game start. Ohio State versus TCU. Ohio State got a guy that you would like and Brew Store all time leading score. Ohio State, a little guard, get to get to it. How many years? See you for, yeah. This is the first year, your first year in the tournament too. And his back court may, uh, mobily, I don't know, I don't realize. Ohio State fell off that much and they made the tournament. They've had some coaching changes or whatever. Um, well, I think that back court is Mike Cintric. That's a bit of a two 20 point scores almost. When I think Brew Store is the only 20 point score, mobily might be close, might be 15, 16. Both shoot 40% from three. Go get it. Just just, I mean, especially like first round, you just might see a lot of like, just blowouts because it's like, it's just top teams going against the lower seats, but that's what kind of gave me a bit. No, I don't think that's the case at all.

32:18I think you're going to see some shit that's going to blow your mind. I think that's the purpose of March, man. Yeah, I was going to say, I was about to get to what we are going to say. But it's like that, but you get so much of the late game. Every possession matters. Feel that you just don't always get in the NBA in April or in March. Yeah, that's why my video, I was telling people like, sometimes in the NBA, covering the NBA, you got guys that you don't like to go against. Like, man, I ain't going to get stuff in the foot. But like, when Kauai is locked in, you can't go against Kauai Aluka. I, when I'm talking about my bracket, like for TCU, I switched to Ohio State, but it's hard for me to go against Jamie Dixon, the coach. Tom Izzo, I liked North Dakota State. It's hard for me to go against Tom Izzo in March. It's less player-centric, but more so, like the coach in the program, I'm not going against certain coaches because when they get to March, they got the execution down pat. And so that's what I like. And then you have so many different, it's 64 teams. You got some teams that don't shoot threes. They only want twos. You got some teams that only want threes.

33:19They don't want to shoot twos. You got a team like Texas A&M. I see in Texas A&M when I was grinding a film, they pressed off of a miss. How many teams do you see in press off of a miss? Yeah, you got to press it off of me. You got teams that want to control the offensive glass. You got teams that swing the ball. You got like, it's so any different style. You got teams who play through their centers. You don't know me, like St. John's, their center is almost like an outjefferson of today. Like, you know what I mean? Troy, their center leads them in assists. You know, like right state who I love, got my boy Michael Cooper, who leads the team and scoring off the bench as a freshman. So it's so many different styles. It's so many different ways that basketball can be played. And I'm going to be an attendance for all of this because this also happens fast. 34:20All right, so we bring in a statement calling the good or the bad. So we had roughly over 60 games to watch some of these guys. Oh, we back at the NBA. That's not me college related. What I want y'all to do is tell me the good that you love about these guys and what's the bad and what you would like to see them improve on. Or the number one guy, Scotty Barnes. Scotty, I did a little segment while I was answering questions and somebody asked me, we always talk about offensive systems in the NBA. The Lucas, the Shades, the Yoke, you know, the people that are offensive systems. We haven't talked about defensive systems. And we borrowed up like, ready to go beer or Victor Wimba Newhamma. And the third name that the person that asked me says like Scotty Barnes. I was like, I don't know if Scotty Barnes is the offensive system by himself, but he's pretty close to it. So the thing that I love about Scotty Barnes is that defense. It's how he's so rangel. You never really know what his assignment is going to be on a nightly basis, but whatever it is, you can expect it to be an A to A plus production. So defense, baby. What I love about Scotty Barnes is I remember, this is a little bit more early in the season,

35:20but I still think some of this applies. He can play with it so many different people. When they would have a crazy run of success, and you will go through the lineups in the different successes, he was a part of almost every successful lineup. You know, there was questions of how of him, RJ Barrett and Ingram, all of that meshin' up together, him and CMB. Some people felt was redundant. Well, like some of the best gritty dick lineups early on in the season, and Jacobi Walter, they were with Scotty Barnes, and Brandon Ingram was still able to have successful Scotty Barnes and RJ Barrett, and he made a quick, so I think it's something about being the best player that can give your franchise the comfort of going out and getting different type of players without feeling like you can't. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah, because I feel the same way, like it's hard not to love the defense. I feel like he can take some people kind of like out of the game, like individually, just to kind of nitpick. And again, he's one of those players, not saying he's a perfect player, but it's hard to kind of take away from him.

36:22And it goes to a peace point where just like, you feel so comfortable with him, kind of playing with anybody, and that's just because he can fill somebody roles. I would just like for him to be a little bit more, I guess, insertive sometimes. Like, I think that he can take a little bit more of the control of the game offensively, just seeing him do that more. So that's the bad for you? Yeah, but again, I have to... Yeah, I mean, I don't know who all Derek has, we're talking about an all-sorry hit. Yeah, so like he obviously, you know, but if we had to pick a bat, I think that his handle is good, but I think in order for him to be like a cranial, all NBA guy, his handle has to get better. Again, we talk a nitpicking, that's like the biggest nitpick you can have, because he said, what, six, seven to six, eight, power four, like you don't expect him to have a handle, like, you know, Alan Iverson or Carrie Irvin, but I think that part of his game could definitely get fleshed out a little bit more, and that'll make him better on the offence side of the ball and the half-core, if he was just, you know, a little less loose with the ball. Yeah. Next, have you guys Brandon Miller? Be Mills, I love that there's no shot

37:26that is too difficult for Brett Abel. And sometimes that could be a negative, right? There's some players in league that you say the same thing and you're looking at it's like, oh my God, he shoots this percentage. But Brandon Miller is one of those guys that can take a tough, really tough shot, but like you have the confidence that it's gonna go in regardless or shout out to Be Mills. Only bad thing was prior to this year, or I guess the early part of this year too, is just injured. Just wanted to see him be healthy. I love Brandon Miller's game. I'm happy to see the success that he's been able to have with the Hornets. I was a big advocate of them drafting him and not scoop. Yeah. And so to see him fit in with his team so beautifully makes me happy. And I believe outside of Victor Memyama, he was, I was a little biased, but he was my favorite prospect just cause he played for Nate Oldt at Alabama. And then when we had him on our show, and he thought it was Paul George's goal. I'm like, oh, look at my boy. Yeah. So, yeah. I think as youth, as far as like a lot of the guys come in super thin framed,

38:28I don't think he needs to bulk up like Yannis obviously, but just like a little extra muscle would help him get past offenders a little bit easier. I think to add on to that too, I was just looking at it. He's such a good score. I think he's got to kind of find an act to get to the line a little bit more. It's only average in like three and a half to four free throws. He shoots 90%. So you would like him to get more. I think if he adds the muscle, you get to the rim a little bit more. And again, you have some, you have so many good shooters, like a Lamello and a con to be able to get to the rim, it kind of just build on the offense and just build on how like teams just have to guard everything. Him getting to the rim would be a lot. It would help him. Now, if he double his free throws, I'm gonna be calling him a foul baiter there. Hey, I'm gonna be calling people that man. Where you, you got to earn them free throws. It was a time in my, in my basketball career, where I was trying to get to the line every time I was trying to drive to the rim. I've seen starfish on the court before. Yeah, it didn't work out too well for me. With the winning, the Hornets are experiencing too. I would love to see him take on being a two-way,

39:28like really followed Paul George footsteps. I'm saying those teams best player. Yeah, that would be, yeah, that would be nice. It would just help their course so much if he could. Yeah. Because some of them games, you're like, oh, this is their assignment. And they've been doing good, obviously. They've been there. But yeah, if he was able to step up and do that, my goodness. Denny Avdia. Denny is so stiff. I think he's the first person I started off with the negative. He's such a stiff ball player, man. And I don't know how to explain it other than when you just watch everything is so straight line and it's effective to an extent in the 82 game. See, I think we had the conversation like, how does this look in the postseason or whatever, but he's a very stiff player. Yeah. I feel like I'm going to go to a bad two, but it's like, I want to see, because he's had such a really good season, I do think that like when the team is fully healthy, I don't know if he'll be the number one featured guy. So I just, uh-huh. So I just want to kind of see how he's able to adjust his game

40:29back into more of like, maybe I'm the second, maybe I'm the third, and still be just as impactful. We all know he can kind of like, he came up doing all the little things and stuff like that. So I'm going to see how you kind of adjusted the role back when this team is really fully healthy. The good is getting to the foul line, whether they like it or not, easy, easy points on every possession. This is good. He's, I mean, that's part of his straight line. Yeah, yeah, go straight through his defender. Yep, I think the other good is just, he was able to run point guard for the team for a lot. I mean, it's good. Jew holiday mids time, they just had a lot of people mids time. He was the guy that kind of ran the offense. I'm talking about score the ball, pass the ball, they set the defense like he was doing a lot for that. Stop talking to the roughs. Yeah, um, if he said no. Next up, guys, Evan Mowbley, Emo, the good is obviously, um, he's not in that system conversation just yet, but he's still one of the premier defensive guys in the NBA. Um, so that's always going to be a good. And I think the bad is the opposite side, right? Not that it's, it's not bad in what it is.

41:31It's bad in our expectations as far as like, we hope that he one day would be a 20 point per game score. And that's not really part of his game a year, what five of his career or so. Um, and some of that has to do with the aggression. Some of that has to do with him, you know, getting switches and not maximizing them when he has a smaller defender. Um, and some of his just can't him like floating is the way I would describe him offensively a lot of the times. Just floating while the other guys do a lot of the heavy lifting. I think Evan Mowbley is a good player. I think there's a lot to like and love. Uh, I think regardless of whatever he's going to do, he has to show up in the playoffs. And I'm not here to say he doesn't show up, but there's been some injuries. There's been a lack of success for the Cavalier team as a whole. And I think if they were able to get over a home, a lot of this stuff wouldn't matter. Yeah. Regardless of how aggressive he is, how many points he scores per game. If he, if they, if he just was him and it worked, um, I think we were just accepted and he would be a champion or in the finals or whatever. But I think because they have expectations,

42:31they haven't been able to meet him. Some serious, he was in some serious. He's what he wasn't in. Sometimes like KB said, he's floating. He's been defensive player of the year. The themes he's on are pretty stacked. Yeah. I mean, this is a time to do it because before you know it, he's going to be in a position where he is going to have to, you know what I mean, carry a burden if this team can win that I don't know what other teams he's going to be on that's going to have these type of opportunities. So Milwaukee. I think it really comes down to the aggression against the bigger front courts, like the, like the pistons. Sometimes it could be the spurs and that's on, like that's a long time in the playoffs where you get to the spurs. But it's the aggression against the bigger front courts where you can kind of see him. Hey, I might take six threes this game because they clogging up that pain. And I think from every night basis, it's just so much easier for Evan mobility kind of dominate in the pain or near the restricted area. Sometimes teams can hold them out from that. And for a guy that's the, you know, second to third best player, you got to be there every night. It's just the best teams do it.

43:32It's a nightly basis where I can depend on you to have your 15 to 20 points. Yeah, they got a lot right. I mean, when they first started the James Harden, I was like, oh my goodness. And now that school down completely. Yeah, where it's like, they might still just be the fourth best team in the conference still. And obviously, Jared Allen has been in and out and the lineup over the last couple of weeks or so. But yeah, that first week, I was like, oh, man, I'm close to picking them to win the East. No, I'm not, no, I'm not there. You know, that changed real fast. You should see that because JT came back. That does matter. That's all that's all we need. He changed his mind. He kind of looked on stop, not on stop. They look great. All right, when we come back, we got more numbers on the board. All right, so back with the good and the bad. Paolo Bank Hero. The good is, there's a lot of good. All these plays have a lot of good. I don't feel like we have to purpose it. But my favorite thing about Paolo is the self-awareness that we talked about last week. Talk about how you watched a bunch of film. He looked in the mirror and now he's ready to adjust.

44:32The bad is a lot of them long middies still not going there. And it's just like, it's like really, really bad. And a tough shot taker, but in order to be a tough shot taker, you also got to match that with a tough shot maker. And right now he's one and not the other. But I think it could be both. You know, it's just. He hasn't been shooting ball better. He's been very good the last month and a half. Yeah, I completely agree. He has done a lot, you know, to kind of, I feel like change the narrative that's, or the discourse around him this season, especially kind of when they did hit their stride. I think what he's got to improve on is taking some of those tough shots and just kind of finding ways to get the easy ones, being able to move it or run in transition, being able to cut without the ball. I know it's kind of hard to change your whole play style love, but he's such a physical dude that he's kind of like a walk and mismatch. And I think that anytime you're kind of cutting, you're just creating disadvantages or advantages for your team. The reason I really like the quote is because some people are stubborn to a fault. I feel like a good level of stubbornness, especially in a professional like this is very important for an NBA player,

45:33but for him to not just settle for like, well, this is who I am. It's, I think it says wonders about a 24-year-old. It's too many players that have kind of said that and I don't think he's falling out the lead here. And I'm like, that's, people in that mindset has kind of saved careers where you see people are dwindling down and you don't know what their value is and they kind of changed their whole mindset and all of a sudden, hey, I get to do 15 million a year. I get to do, I want that dude on my team. So it's always just kind of like knowing, again, just being self-aware. Yeah. When I watch him, it's just like, why does everything look so tough? Like, I think it's part of the offensive system and how the life they're off. It's like, why is he always just running and picking role, I saw him. There's no like fluidity to it. It's just like, yes, I pick a role with everything. The role man can't get open because they just tagging them because the shooter in the corner can't shoot and for him to be the role man a lot more. I would love it to work. Do need more like the creators, like you would need Desmond Bain to be able to run it. Obviously, you could see like Anthony, but it's just the guards kind of running it.

46:33You need them to be able to shoot the ball. I feel like you have somebody that can't shoot and he's running a bigger role, kind of defeats the purpose, especially if the guy's rolling. But him as a roller, I think, would be able to just open up because again, you don't have everybody trying to gap up on you, but if you catch it on the roll, it's either I'm scoring or I'm smart enough to make the right pass on the roll. Also love that he gets to the foul line, a great amount. Love that for him. I love that he show up, man. In those big moments, Pat Logon beat here. I never forget his first playoff. He was going toe to toe with Donnie. Donnie even Mitchell. Pat Logon do his part. What was the, who did they lose to when they second playoff thing? That was a self-takes or is that last year? That makes sense to me. There was a four, five matchup. I think the self-takes were the one seat that year. And then one of those games, Franz Wagner went like one of something. Yeah, he ended the series like ridiculously bad that last close out game. Next year, we got this VJ edge call. Ooh, it's so early to even pick up home like this one.

47:36He sees early, so he's working. And it's his support. He's supporting jazz hands, but like his OGs. You know what his bad is? He never seen a double seat before. No, that's the, yeah, I don't have anything bad. It's so early. Let's go chat home. Okay, yeah, I like that one. I think that my favorite thing about chat home grind is that though he gonna get called a few different times, he challenges everything at the rim. Absolutely. Like his, his block numbers don't show that he is the most effective rim protector in basketball right now. Like even better than when we statistically speaking at least. Obviously, we pick and win be defensively over chat, but like statistically is the best. My least favorite thing is, yeah, we really had that conversation last week about, this is his first 20 point game in two months. Like, what the home grind on this team, with this, this roster with this MVP? It's like, I'm just going to jump between the players that I always see is like, man, he got 15 in the first quarter ends with 20. Like, I would love for him to have that offensive consistency.

48:37It's kind of, Evan Mobley and Jason were like, we keep one and more offensively, one and more offensively. And it's like occasionally he'll do it, but we can't, we can't count for chat. I always wanted to point a chat though, because chat I think is a better offensive player. For sure. His offense looks sometimes effortless. And I just like his skill set. So I always be one and more from chat. He could, he could put it on the floor and attack a pole with a three. You could do it. He could do it. He gets to the mid-range turn around. Yeah, so. I remember early in his career, he did that one mid-range turn around on the right wing and somebody paired it with like Kevin DeRoe, right? He's doing the exact same thing as a rookie. He was like, oh snap. A rookie, Kevin DeRoe, that's the best offensive player. Oh my goodness. That's ridiculous. Next guy we got is... Gotta be a last guy, right? Yeah, a trade Murphy. Kyle Lee, Derek. How much trade Murphy do you think we've watched this season? I like that trade Murphy can score. He scores a ball really well.

49:39I think he can score in a lot of different ways. But I do, the bad is that he's just plays for a team that I think doesn't utilize it. It would look a lot better on a playout team than what I would say. Maybe next year for them. Maybe next year. Don't do more, it might have been right.
