Houston Texans Sign Dominique Robinson for Defensive Line Boost

They've agreed to a one-year deal with defensive and dominant Robinson, as first reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter. Robinson is a 27-year-old pass rusher who's spent his first three NFL seasons with the Chicago Bears. He wrapped up his rookie contract after being selected in the fifth round back in 2022. Last year, he suited up for 12 games with the Bears, picking up 1.5 sacks along with three tackles for loss and three quarterback hits. He logged 28% of defensive snaps and 50% on special teams. Over his full career so far, Robinson has played in 46 games, starting eight of them, and tallied 3.5 sacks total. This adds solid depth for Houston as they build out their front. Teams like the Texans often target these kinds of veterans for rotation spots, and Robinson's special teams experience could give him an edge right away.
