Houston Cougars Secured as NCAA Tournament's Number Two Seed

The Cougars land as the number two seed in the South region, setting them up nicely for a run. They would open against the number 15C Tennessee State and Oklahoma City, just a short trip from home. Advancing to the round of 32 could pit them against either number seven St. Mary's or number 10 in C state. Fans love this setup because it's easy to travel to, and Debra runs my keep games close by, giving a real home court feel. Coach Kelvin Samson's team has the momentum after a strong season. Other Brachats vary, but Katz keeps potential, sweet 16 matchups in Oklahoma City too. Like against winners from Louisville, Missouri, Nebraska, or UC Irvine, the top of the region features number one Florida in Tampa. Selection Sunday is only four days away, so nothing set yet, but Houston is locked in for March madness and chasing that national title.
