Houston Cougars' Flemings & Cenac: NBA-Ready Freshmen

0:00On April 20th, Houston Cougars got two freshman phenoms jumping into the 2026 NBA draft, Guard Kingston flimmings and forward Chris Cineck, Jr. Both brought straight fire this season, proving they're ready for the big leagues right out the gate. Cineck made it official on April 9th with an Instagram post declaring for the draft. As a reliable big, he averaged 9.5 points and 8 rebounds per game. His standout moment came in the Big 12 tournament against Kansas, dropping 17 points and snagging 14 boards. Coach Kelvin Samson is hyped about flimmings, calling him a top 10 pick, for sure. Cineck echoed that vibe, saying he's pumped to see flimmings ball out and even face him in the pros one day. Their chemistry anchored Houston's defense all year. Flimmings lived up to the hype, averaging 16 points and 4 assists. He exploded for 42 points, six dimes and two steals against Texas Tech on January 24th. Dudes got elite handles, smart decisions and scores at will.
