I'll get to that and just a moment But I want to get to this really quick housing resources Reason being because you know I always see a lot of people asking about housing you know a lot of people are going through looking for housing Don't have anywhere to stay and so there's a resource on Facebook

2:08Let me say this there's a resource on Facebook and I always see a lot of people especially women in particular women I don't know why that is I don't see a lot of men asking for help for housing But it is the females single females with children asking for resources and housing So I'm gonna give you a couple of resources That you can go to now. I just did a quick Google search But I'm gonna put this information on The page in the bio so you can have it really accessible to you listen y'all When I was homeless, I know a lot of people you know when they ask on Facebook Do you guys know where I can go? I know things are a lot a lot different these days, but when I didn't have nowhere to stay Let me tell you something my computer wasn't my friend. I did a lot of research There was a database a database That the city would give you there's a database and you would go into the database and you would find a Plethora of information on where you can stay in the city of Chicago a different shelters

3:13I know people don't want to stay in no shelter, and I did not stay at a shelter I say that different place on the north side really really really really nice really nice and So let's I'm gonna give you some different places where you can go like single-room housing Assistance a one place I stayed on the north side far north side was really nice place No roaches no bugs no mice none of that Single-room occupancy really nice complete the three people really nice was on the north side of Chicago and back then it was like 425 once a 425 a month, but nowadays I know it's like 800 bucks for a single family a single room Occupancy no roaches no rats nothing like that I would not dare tell you about a place to go to and it's infested with roaches in mice So I'm gonna give you some different places. Wait a minute, wait a minute Okay, so 1607 West Howard Street The third floor, this is the north side of Chicago 1607 West Howard This is housing opportunities for women

8:39And it says very helpful resources One person says I got my place through them And one more review says the staff was unconcerned But some of the other reviews it says Well, somebody says they never answered the phone Now let me say this when it comes to answering the phone You guys know there is a huge number of people looking for a place to say And people shouldn't put a review Now this was a long time going and saying people don't answer the phone You've got to be diligent You've got to be in there You can't just call one time So whether they don't answer the phone Well, sometimes you do, you've got to keep calling You've got to keep calling Another one says they never fixed anything in your apartment And they got a bad attitude Now this was a while ago, that review was from six years ago This one review was from two years ago She says love it while they gave an opportunity to help And they have been amazing Thank you so much while for my housing And so listen, once again

10:40You can do a search on these places Housing resources Do a search for if you're a single female with children There's a lot of places that you can really go to get some help And everyone knows, the whole world knows about Catholic charities They will help you Especially if you're a single person With children, Chicago Charities Will help you in a heartbeat to find a place And then mercy I forgot the name of it But listen, I'm going to put it in the bio There's a lot of places that can help you to go downtown Chicago City Who is it?
