Housing affordability in Australia is at an all-time low. That's according to the latest R.E.A. Group report. The medium income household in Australia is able to afford just 12% of home sold nationally in the last financial year. That's the lowest level on record. The report also found the average household would have to spend 35% of its income on a mortgage repayment. That's higher than levels seen during the global financial crisis. The opposition and one nation are set to oppose the government's next set of social media regulations. According to nine newspapers, Labour will propose its new digital duty of care standards for tech giants in Parliament next week. The laws will look to strip platforms of algorithms and force companies to actively take harm prevention steps on their social media feeds. The government looks like it will need cross-benture support to get the bill through the Senate after the coalition and one nation leader Pauline Hansen

indicated they would fight the bill concerned about government overreach. Ukraine's security service headquarters has been struck by a Russian drone injuring 12 people in Kiev. It's the latest attack on Ukraine's capital, which has suffered eight consecutive days of bombardment. It's the first time the building has been targeted in the four-and-a-half year conflict, highlighting the country's increasing vulnerability to aerial attacks. Ukraine's president, Vladimir Zelensky, has called on its allies to help resupply their depleted interceptor missile stocks. U.S. Special Envoy's Jared Kushner and Steve Wikof are expected to visit Kiev tomorrow following talks. In Moscow, Donald Trump says a proposed peace plan has been written. We have an idea for peace. I said, Steve Wikof and Jared Kushner, that two great negotiations have done a great job and we sent them over to see whether or not we can get something done. And there may be a good chance that we'll do it.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has denied any wrongdoing over allegations the party breached political donation rules. The allegations come from an undercover investigation by Britain's Channel 4 News. It showed two senior aides appearing to arrange for a U.S. company to fund three polls for Reform UK at a cost of around $60,000. Mr Farage has been referred to the Parliament's Standards Commissioner by the Liberal Democrats. The two aides shown in the video have stepped down the party leader denying any wrongdoing. Some of the comments made by two of our team were injudicious at best. Neither of these men was authorized to act in this way. Accordingly, they've stepped down pending an investigation. I repeat, Reform has broken no law. We take compliance extremely seriously. Typhoon Sadoel has brought to rental rain to China's southern coastal regions of Fuzhian and Guangdong. Flooding has caused vehicles to be submerged and buildings to collapse.

Authorities evacuating thousands of people, closing schools and suspending public transport. Emergency flood protocols have been enforced across multiple coastal areas. Sadoel made its third landfall along the coast of Fuzhian on Thursday after intensifying over the South China Sea. Dave Roberts here.
