The medium income household in Australia is able to afford just 12% of home sold nationally in the last financial year. That's the lowest level on record. The report also found the average household would have to spend 35% of its income on a mortgage repayment. That's higher than levels seen during the global financial crisis. The opposition and one nation are set to oppose the government's next set of social media regulations. According to nine newspapers, Labour will propose its new digital duty of care standards for tech giants in Parliament next week.
