Also, what is going on behind the curtain on the AJ Brown trade talks for Philadelphia? There's a list involved in this. A big board. What is that all about? And how serious is the Buffalo interest in trade Hendrickson? Really? And is there a chance that trade Hendrickson ends up going to a team

that just made a trade for an edge rusher? We'll talk about all of those storylines and much more as we settle into a football heavy hour number 4. Have a great Wednesday. The changing of the receiver room. What? Welcome in the beginning of another hour of the Ben Mallor Show. We are in the air everywhere. Yeah, I know it's shocking. FINRA investing of all risk more information visit we bull slash disclosures so later on this out we are scheduled to have a verbal octagon it will be Mike the leprechaun versus Marcel in Brooklyn that is scheduled it's three rounds in the octagon and Mike the leprechaun is the one that is challenging Marcel he said okay with that so we'll get to that coming up in a little bit for a wild night we had bam out of bio with the most ridiculous 80 point game he had the second most points in NBA history bam out of bio 16 point of game guy bam out of bio yeah last night against the Washington Wizards which is not even a real NBA team it's a lot of people upset it's caused quite the hull of blue in basketball and will anything happen to besmirch that no

the Miami heat were up by 20 to 30 points they never trailed in the game they did not take bam out of bio out of the game in fact they intentionally fouled the Washington Wizards so bam would have more opportunities to get possessions so ridiculous oh my god so barely uh and then we also had major major league baseball not to be out then was it's not major league production and the USA team somehow lost to the flotsam and jets of the Italy team which has a bunch of fringe players and there's like a couple of guys that are supposedly pretty good and then that's it and then now we learned that Mark Derosa the manager of team USA he said he misspoke he did not know that team USA could still be eliminated during pool play he said before the game and so there's a chance

depending on what happens between Italy and Mexico that the USA team will be X-NAY on the tournament A and we also had the Max Crosby trade that was rejected by the team from Baltimore and there's some conspiracy theories about that as well so there's a lot going on but we're going to start out with a wide receiver shuffle some help for Drake Mei if you didn't see this perhaps not did they trade for AJ Brown no no hell no but we learned the Patriot degree of terms with former Packers wide receiver the great Romeo dobs they added Romeo they added a real life Romeo to the wide receiver room four years 80 million dobs is now being pumped up as the number one wide receiver for the New England football team and he spent four years in the frozen tundra and now he goes off to New England

so that's a good jumping off point let us discuss the question is it true that Romeo dobs meets the criteria as a legit as a legit number one wide receiver for the Patriots so my take I've got horse power KFC combo meal and Simone Biles by the way I was the star of that Netflix Simone Biles documentary a couple of years ago I was the star not her it was all about me anyway we'll put all these together and for tillio we're going to make some gobbagool and we'll have a smorgasborg of gobbagool and possibly some bobbaganush so to lead off here think of this as a PSA public service announcement for my friends who are fans of the New England Patriots those of you asking is Romeo dobs at legit number one wide receiver so I went to the teachers manual on this

the maler teachers manual and we looked in the very back there we checked for the answers in the back of the book and the verdict zzzz wrong answer my spidey like senses are tingling on this one not a good way the patriots are going with essentially a younger version of older staphon digs you feel me on that you know what I'm saying so staphon digs used to be really good and he's kind of a shallow what he had man and there's a lot of stuff going on with staphon digs and he's worn down and all i said so Romeo dobs is much younger to production and you say well this on one side you got dobs and then outside you got staphon digs and it reminds me of that meme of spider man pointing at spider man you know what I'm talking about yeah yeah yeah the sequel is the equal it would appear

and now dobs is he bad no he's not bad no he seems like a solid NFL receiver and I'm not sitting here and researching the name dobs I think it's pretty good name however if you look at the scouting report and watch the sizzle reel for Romeo dobs on the youtube kind of get that vibe it's like listing a car online you want to sell a car you post it online and you say well it runs fine just don't take it on the highway well why can't I take it on the highway you just don't do it it runs fine it's an around the town that's it why well HP problems horse power problems limited explosiveness that's the book on Romeo dobs is not a burner it's not gonna get a lot of separation not a lot of separation there it's not a magician separating and all that so

it doesn't create a lot of space and earlier in his career he also had issues when he first got the green bay with the drop sees in the hands and all that he's a possession receiver moves the chains not gonna give you a lot of fireworks not a lot of razz and all that he's to compare with somebody as I always say like it's your Colby Myers who's in the NFL right now with the Jacksonville Jaguar's former Patriot your Colby Myers he's that kind of receiver or Jabbar Gaffney who used to play for the Patriots years ago if you remember that name Valor Report Card the Malor Report Card if dobs ends up as the top wide receiver on the depth chart for the Patriots the Malor Report Card reads C- reads a C- now if they get AJ Brown or someone who's a better receiver like a stud, a thoroughbred

then the dobs signing if he's your number two wide receiver that's an A plus like a C minus it all depends on where where the depth chart ends up with the food chain and all of that now dobs numbers should be better if he is the top receiver because he has been fighting for scraps with the Green Bay Packers now furthermore speaking of the topic of conversation involving wide receivers we go to Philadelphia was AJ Brown on Tuesday no no he wasn't we are on AJ Brown Watch around the clock the graveyard shift we are here waiting to hear the sound of the bell from the graveyard and then we'll dig up the grave here and see what's going on so the latest on this we are told that AJ Brown has a wish list or is it a big board he has not one not two

not three but four teams four pack of teams that he would like to be playing for if not the Eagles those teams include the New England Patriots Kansas City the Chargers and here we go buffalo here we go buffalo so the question what is going on behind the curtain what's going on there in Philadelphia behind the curtain on this AJ Brown trade kerfluffle so everyone's acting like this is some complicated NFL mystery it's not right spoiler alert you know what this is it's a KFC combo meal Bach Bach chicken that's what it is everyone's clucking nobody's actually cooking and the Eagles are like you're licking good deal

and these other NFL teams they were good they want to backpack for the draft picks in Philadelphia whatever they can squeeze out whatever they can get from these other teams understandable on the rest of the NFL is like yeah yeah yeah we're good over here we'll sign these other guys so it is a game again for those of you across the table and it's like they think they've got a royal flush oh we got a royal flush no one's going to stop a royal flush what are you talking about the promise the rest of the teams that are bidding on AJ Brown they're looking at the cards and they're going okay so that you got a couple of sevens couple pairs of seven so that's not very good that's all you got pal and a heartbeat the teams look at him say well

he's been around a while he was part of Oprah's book club during games for the Eagles a couple of years ago if he's not getting the ball like every other diva wide receiver he has a connection fit so that's a problem making pretty big amount of money that's that's a mortgage that you're going to have to inherit no haggling situation I still believe that he will be traded and all these salary cap gurus to say there's no way the Eagles can trade them if the Miami Dolphins can take a 99 million dollar cap hit you're telling me that the Eagles cannot trade AJ Brown what are you a moron all right last thing decision day every vote matters well we'll see best and final offers to trade Hendrix and the former Bengal edge rusher so far none of those teams have met the

amount of money that Hendrix wants he considers himself the premier past rusher available in free agency I am better than Daniel Hunter who got paid a ton of money or Jalen Phillips with a ton of money and I would like to get a nice A.A.V. of 30 to 40 million dollars a year that's what I would like and so far no one's done it the cowboys supposedly it's too expensive which you know it's bullcrap for Jerry Jones they got plenty of money there so now we are told the buffalo bills and the Baltimore Ravens who rejected rejected a trade for max breadcrumbs trying to get trade Hendrix so decision is supposed to happen today I'm I'm sleeping during the day I do the overnight show I'm guessing by the time I wake up there'll be some message from Adam Schefter saying that trade Hendrix

is going to team x I thought the buffalo side of this was the more interesting side how serious how serious is the bills interest in trade Hendrix and really all right so did somebody spiked the wings at the anchor bar there with Hallucisions like seriously the idea that Hendrix and would slide into buffalo seems a little far fetched to me then part of it is standard because the buffalo bills in recent years they've had this this habit which they can't shake of acquiring players who are let's just say not as good as they used to be good but past past their expiration date all that Hendrix and had from twenty twenty three to twenty four yet thirty five sacks I'm told that's pretty good I'm told that's pretty good and then last year he was hurt and had four sacks I'm told that's not that good

I'm told that's not that great played seven games that said he's heading into his age thirty two season which is again is not old unless you're in sports and then it gets over the cap now we know the cap is crap we are salary cap truthers so they're reportedly exploring options and if they really buffalo really really wants the player of course I also exploring options when I wake up and I'm fasting and I'm like well maybe I'll see what's in the fridge and there might be some some chow mane in there something like that and a little tupperware thing and spress got that Beijing B for something like that and be like I have some of that but my advice to the bills and any other team in salary cap jeopardy is to bring in some own vials and Mary Lou retten that old gymnast from back in the day bring them in as advisers because you're playing cap gymnastics it's called finagling the books fuzzy

math a former president called it fuzzy math you convert the salary to a bonus you push the cat pick down the road like you're kicking a can down the road there slap on some void years and tada yeah then you just uh... it's like you're duct taping the snowblower in buffalo and february oh good luck now personally I hope the Baltimore Ravens sine tray Hendrickson because that would be the chaos move that would cause a chain reaction which would be so effing good if this happens that would mean that the Baltimore Ravens got cold feet decided they didn't want Max Crosby they got the doctor to red flag Max Crosby's physical and then they keep their draft picks and sine tray Hendrickson and the NFL world would be up at arms and I'm here for it I don't have a dog in the fight

because Michael Vick would say but I'm here for it it is the Ben Mallow show if you'd like to be part 87799 on Fox that's 8779966369 we've got the verbal octagon Mike the leprechaun and Marcel in Brooklyn also at some point this hour we have the Brady boner what is that about keep your mind out of the gutter all that and we will do it next be sure to catch live additions of the Ben Mallow show weekdays at 2 a.m. eastern 11 p.m. Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHard Radio app Stick out here I have a podcast empire it continues to grow and I have brought it here to Ivar I'm also doing a live radio show from 3 to 5 p.m. eastern and I'm just going to kick me out of the house

Tech Queen and Koopaloup at a Bronco fan, your comments can and we'll be used against you in the court,

the court of the Mallor militia. Mighty Big Gavill there. That's what she said. All right, back to where we go. And it is time now for the verbal octagon. Are we ready? Yes, verbal boxing on the radio. No holds barred. It is going to be a slabber knocker in the ring. Let's welcome in our combatants. First, the man that proposed the fight, you either love him or you hate him. He lives in the Boston area. He worked as a teacher for years. He loves suntan lotion. He almost got me fired from my 25 plus year run here at Fox Sports Radio by showing up 12 hours early, 12 hours early to the building. And then I got a bunch of angry messages. Let's welcome in. We say hello to Mike the leprechaun, making his way to the octagon.

Hello, Mike the leprechaun. You suck. And my dog is here as well. Yes, loves will be off. And today the gloves will be off. OK, the gloves are off. He's also, I forgot the rubber chicken. That's right. He enjoys holding the rubber chicken and loves that a lot. Now, making his way to the ring. The most decorated man in the history of the show next to Blind Scott and Pete and Pittsburgh, a multi-time platinum champion of the highest honor in overnight sports talk radio, the Genie and Medford Memorial Caller of the Year Award. You either love him or you hate him. From the projects in Brooklyn, we welcome in a street savvy, Marcell in Brooklyn. Hi. Oh, Ben, I guarantee you, you are my good, respectful real man in a business. So I'm going to take Mike the idiot down and a Fox Sports Radio family going to love me for sure.

OK, well, very exciting. So those are the combatants, gentlemen, you have been given the rules. But for those of you listening here to this octagon, three rounds, spoken word battle of the NINCOM poops. And each combatant opening round is just 10 seconds. That's it. It seems like no time at all until you're on the radio and you're standing on the stage on 600 radio stations, all of a sudden, it's a long time. So each person will have 10 seconds to make an opening salvo, then we will go to round two, in round two, each person will have 20 seconds, and then round three. That's where, if you're of the faint of heart, you might not want to pay attention, because it can be 25 seconds of no holds barred, just bloody knuckles, Molly wops in the air everywhere, body blows, the whole thing. Oh, the real rule, and the golden rule is if we have to dump you for using bad language,

I'm not worried about Marcel, I'm more worried about the leprechaun, but we have to dump you, then you will be deducted points. If we do it again, you or your chicken, you're disqualified. All right. So stay away from the deadly words, the naughty words, because we are governed by the... Do you want me to list them? Yeah, sure, do that. Yeah. Well, Karlin had seven. There's actually more than seven. Karlin's been dead for a while, I was more than seven. All right. Good luck to both of you gentlemen. You will be able to... Now, we will have the studio vote. You will be able to vote as well on an online vote, on ex at Ben Malles live coverage of the octagon between Mike DeLepricon and Marcelin Brooklyn. You know how much we paid for the rights to this broadcast? This is an unbelievable... How much? How much? Nothing. But it's a lot. Nothing's a lot, right? Wow. We paid Spadouche, it's what we paid, as Tilly O would say. All right, very exciting. Now, making his way into the wing, he's already there, but in round one, do we have the bell? The signal round one, let's put 10 seconds on the clock

and the opening salvo from Mike DeLepricon. He set my clock here, Mike DeLepricon. And you are on your way and go. I am a heavyweight, Marcel is a lightweight. He wouldn't survive on survivors. The tribe will speak. He has no range. I have three. He's like the pot hole season in Boston. All right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right. There we go. He went over to... Where's the bug? That was about 15 seconds. I'm looking for my goal. All right, Marcel and Brooklyn now. You have 10 seconds to rebut. Round one of the live coverage of the verbal octagon. Let's go now to Marcel in Brooklyn. You're on the clock, Marcel, and you're in in the octagon. Go. I'm going to take Mike DeLepricon down, because he is definitely to interrupt the calls for you, Ben, everyone else. I blocked him, and I want him to disqualify from your program. Okay. Well, Marcel wants him disqualify.

Let's go back to Mike DeLepricon. Boy, what a matchup. This is very even round one. Let's go to round two right now in Mike DeLepricon. You have 20 seconds, Mike DeLepricon. You're in round two of the octagon. You're on your way and go. Marcel is a bright baby. Wow, wow, wow. He's called make us all dumb and dumbers. He's like the Titanic. He hits the iceberg. Grab your life jacket. I have the gift of the gab. You have the gift of the gab. All your calls require dude white. Go back to your ooze anew. Ben, Dan is coming to Boston, not New York. All right. There you go. It's from Mike DeLepricon there. And now we go back to Marcel in Brooklyn, and we'll put 20 seconds, our live coverage of the verbal octagon, a Fox Sports radio exclusive on the Ben Mallor Show. We go to Marcel in Brooklyn. 20 seconds on the clock, Marcel. You're back in the octagon. Go. Oh, you better believe it folks, because like the idiot cod is the most respectful,

disrespectful, disgusting person you ever met on radio, he will be disqualified and banned from your show. And no one talks to him ever again. Make me the five-side call of the year. Grid again, and that's my final. All right. That's Marcel, a little campaigning there from Marcel, with a call of the year award. Let's go to the final round, the most dangerous round in overnight sports talk radio. We're both these general. What a bloodbath this has been so far. I'm playing patty kick. Mike DeLepricon and Marcel in Brooklyn. Let me lock them both in. Gentlemen, you're both in the octagon. You have 25 seconds. Steel cage deathmatch. Good luck. Here we go. You're on there. Go. Get out of this tower. Three times. You're looking the mirror of the idiot, Iw Character with it smiling but it's a much of an ad. Carpentier. Have you puffed, even if your left Earl Brown has all fired at the final calm down. You're inadequate.

You're insecure. You're insane. No, no, no. You're a dead shot 여러분들. We're going down. You're going down like a dead person. All right, all right. Boy, that guy, that guy, person, I'll sapped out. out of the octagon and not enough. Okay. Everyone calm down here. Let's go to the judge's scorecard. And how did you see the fight? Three rounds, verbal octagon. I feel like this did not quite reach the level that we got to the other day when we had Lucky Tony who started just screaming the same line over and over again. The final, I was worried that that Mike the leprechaum was going to steal that. He didn't do that. Seemed like they were little more level headed if I want to say that. I thought round one, it was close. It was close. I know that Mike the leprechaum had some prepared lines. I gave that to, I gave that to Marcel and Brooklyn close. It was very close. I gave round one

to Marcel and Brooklyn round two. I scored that 10, 9, round two though. I gave that to, I had to give it to Mike the leprechaum because Marcel did a campaign speech for the Benny Awards. I mean, what are you doing? Come on, you're in the octagon. That's not the time to campaign. So I gave that round 10, 9 in favor of Mike the leprechaum. And then in round three, I felt like it was very close. I did see at the end there and the thing that swayed it, I saw Marcel became a little wobbly at the end. He responded to Mike the leprechaum and you really can't do that in the octagon. There's no room, there's no room to do that. So I had to give that round to Mike the leprechaum. 10, 9, so Mike, I had Mike the leprechaum winning two rounds to one and he on my scorecard I have is the winner. Lorraine, how did you see the fight? Well, I agree with you in some places. So the first round, yeah, Mike the leprechaum, it was listed. You know, he had it already made up what he was going to say. And I felt like he did that

a little bit into the second round as well. Well, Marcel, he came in with real hate. Like, you know, he was just like, this is from my soul. This is how I feel. So yeah, Marcel definitely gets that first round. Yeah, then there were some jabs going back and forth. And then I thought like Marcel, that's a great take by you, Lorraine. Cause yeah, this is as much as you can hate someone for just calling a radio show. Marcel definitely despises the cake. Yeah, 100%. There's a lot of legitimate hate there. All right. So yeah, the second round, I did like the leprechaum here. He did have some jokes and jabs in there that made me giggle. And I hate when he makes me laugh. It's one of my things I despise the most. But you said you didn't like that Marcel was campaigning. But I think that's kind of what this verbal octagon was about because they're going for the same one. So I liked that Marcel was on track with what his goal was. To make sure they know to vote for Marcel. That's spin. See, what you're doing there is spin. I'm just saying I liked it. I liked it. So I gave Marcel that second round as well. Now, the third round though, I agree with you. He shouldn't have given in to listening to what the

leprechaum was saying. He responded it. So that he lost that round. But I think he'd still win for me. So two to one. So you see our 10 nine in favor Marcel 10 nine in round two. And then you gave the last round to leprechaum. All right. Cool. How did you see the fight? Cool. On your score card. So overall, I haven't scored the same as you Ben, but I did it a little bit differently here. I thought that I gave the first two rounds to Mike Deleprechaum. Okay. I thought that, you know, he was really prepared. And the first round came out swinging. I think that Marcel was kind of, you know, kind of taken by surprise there. The second round, I liked the your calls required dude wipes line. That was good. I like that. Not bad. And then I thought in the final round, Marcel kind of came back a little bit. I like Lorraine. I like the campaigning. And I liked the responding to Mike Deleprechaum. But I think it was a little too little too late. Marcel was very arrogant. We haven't announced the nominees for the Betty or she's assuming he's going to be nominated. It's very arrogant. Do you

want to give him the news now, Koop? No, we haven't announced that. I don't think we've been, I mean, no, we haven't. We haven't. Oh, we have another format. All right. So you, so again, I gave it to Mike Deleprechaum, you Koop as well. And Lorraine gave it to Marcel in Brooklyn. All right. Let's get some post game comments here. Marcel, we're going to have the vote of the people. How'd you see the fight, Marcel? Now that you're in the locker room on the post game on the octagon. Oh, it was a very wonderful there, Ben. And for the idiot con himself with all the thing to do wipes, give him a break. Mine here, nobody beats me. What kind of what kind, that's right. Nobody beats us. They're out of business though. What kind of toilet paper do you use, Marcel? Oh, get ready for that. Do wipes. Oh, you do, you just do vibes. All right. Mike Deleprechaum, any thoughts here? You got the win on two of our score cards. You did lose with Lorraine. Yeah. I know, but that's that's not a surprise. As John a Kennedy would say, ask not what the

Malar militia can do for you. Ask you, but what you can do for the Malar militia. Well said. Oh, thank you. All right. Congratulations. We'll see what the people say though, Mike Deleprechaum. It's up to the vote of the people here on X. I know he's like, oh, I'm not going to get votes. People hate me. I know that. But there it is. Outstanding. So another octagon. And these things are always fun. Like two in a week. We go months and months. We got to do the verbal octagon, all of a sudden, lucky Tony and blind Scott inspiring this competition. I wonder who will be next. Who's going to get into the octagon next? Who is it going to be? Will it be Jed who fled? I don't know. He's he got the Lexus. You know, he got the nickname Jed who fled from bailing on the octagon. Oh, yeah. That actually makes sense. Yeah. Yeah. We got him. Jed who fled because he bailed out in the octagon. Well, Tom Bray speaking of bailing out. So Tom Brady has this like email newsletter thing. I don't really know much about it. I'm not a subscriber, but apparently he does it. I think

either every day or every week. So Tom Brady penned this heartfelt tribute to Tim McCarver. Long people pay for that. I don't know if you pay. I don't think you have to pay for it. But he sent this tribute to Tim McCarver. It was a long time Fox broadcaster was a New York Metz broadcaster Cardinals broadcaster. And he sent this very heartfelt tribute to Tim McCarver who he said died last week. He said the great Tim McCarver passed away last week. We're sad. It was also sad to learn that Tim McCarver actually died three years ago. What? He did a eulogy for Tim McCarver. Tom Brady in his newsletter. Oh, Oh, my God. Oh, God. How great is that? Yeah. So I have a theory. All right. Either A, Tom Brady is completely clueless. Or B, somebody else who works for Tom Brady is completely clueless. What other option would there be? I don't like seriously. What other option is there? Like somebody either does. I'm assuming Brady

doesn't do it. He's, you know, too important to someone writes his stuff for him, right? Yeah, I would assume that's how that works. But wouldn't you proofread your things before you do it? You proofread your scripts before you do your lives, don't you? No, I just bullcrap. But it's, you know, it's, uh, yeah. That's an awkward one. Now we've all gotten burned. You do a live broad, but that's at least he's not alive to hear it. Wow. I have a great Tim McCarver story, which indirectly involves Tim McCarver. And it's back when I was doing stuff for the Dodgers. And I don't have time to tell it here to great. Oh, yeah, somebody emailed me. I'll tell them on the podcast, but it's, uh, it's an all-timer and it kind of involves Tim McCarver and it involves the New York meds. And it was, uh, quite the moment, quite the moment. I don't have time to get to it here. But Tom Brady, way to go. Uh, next week Brady will be writing about how sad it was to learn Beethoven passed away and, uh, be getting that in there. And then next week after that Shakespeare, uh, we're going to have password, the word game of the stars. If you're on hold,

cool. See if some of these guys want to play. If not, there's a line open. I think, well, actually there's no line. But see if these guys want to play. If not, call up 877 99 on Fox. And I will get that survey thing up there on X. You can vote whether you think, uh, Mike the leprechaun Marcel or, or possibly possibly. Um, there was a tie. Well, we'll get to that and we will do it next. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk line up in the nation. Catch all of our shows at FoxSportsRadio.com.
