This is an I Heart Podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
On the new podcast, Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman.
I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his
motorcycle.
I choose option B. I'm Julie Pinero and I travel by myself because it's a rare space
where I can say yes without asking anyone else first.
I'm on a mission to reclaim the word Solita, trading the pity for possibility.

I survived nine months in captivity and I've spent my life exploring how other people
survive what should have destroyed them.
I'm Elizabeth Smart and these are the survivor files.
Every week I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable, abducted, stalked, controlled
and nearly silenced.
These are stories about what it takes to make it out alive.

Why are you dealing with listening to Armstrong and getting on demand?
We're not boring.
A lot of news is boring and tedious and depressing and makes you angry.
You don't want to live your life like that.
Hey, I'm Jack Armstrong.
He's Joe Getty.

Great balls of fire.
And why we cause are we?
It's our number four hour four ready to go and it hurts so good.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hertz saying on the record, on the record that he clearly grew
apart, grew apart from former teammate, wide receiver, AJ Brown.
How are you interpreting this latest plot twist in this developing story?
Also Cowboys executive, the Netbow exec, Stephen Jones says it will be really difficult to
keep both CDLAM and George Pickens long term.
Can you untangle the wording on this one and is Titans coach Robert Salah betting on
the wrong horse to stake his reputation on Kim Ward.
We'll talk about that.
Have a wonderful Thursday, this third day of September.
And here it is our number four.
You probably have heard of the Philly special.
This is a spin on the Philly special.
It's the Philly confessional welcome in the beginning of another hour of the Ben Mallor
show.
We are in the air.
We are in the air.
Just some town folk as we get high on imagination.
Coast to coast, border to border and beyond on the vast and outspokenly powerful microphones
of FSR emanating life from the pump.
The pump fake of the overnight guaranteed human from the world famous Fox Sports Radio
Studios where the buck eyed sod buster, supermarket steam analog out even the grumpy garbage
man all agree that the Ben Mallor shows an express ride.
And if you work in logistics, you know nothing moves without you.
Companies need skilled people now right now.
And express employment professionals can help you find contract or full time work that
fits at no cost to you.
Visit expressprose.com to get support, get options and get to work.
So our lead story this hour, our lead story is not from Pro Bounce about we did do a full
mall or rant on that mall or monologue.
You can hear that later on on the podcast.
So make sure to listen to that later today as the people's team, the Clippers under siege
by the NBA and this is going to be a wonderful story for years to come.
We are going to get so much content as one of the 10 richest people in the world, I believe
Mr. Balmer.
He's he can be a scream and meany.
He can be a scream and mean because he's got a few money times infinity and beyond and
he's not happy.
So we'll see what happens with that.
And our lead this hour is from Philadelphia, a story that we have chronicled many times
over the last couple of years.
And I've gotten a lot of pushback from my friends in the Delaware Valley.
Well, it turns out, it turns out might want to send a follow up email.
So if you didn't see this perhaps not, Jalen Hertz has confirmed, confirmed that he and
former teammate A.J. Brown, now the Patriots had grown apart during
Brown's final season there in Philly.
He told GQ magazine three words when asked about this, he said, quote, I mean clearly.
Brown who was beginning his first season with Mike Raebles Patriots and now has gone
through the old training camp and all that.
He had previously said, I think back in June, in fact, that nothing happened.
People just grow apart.
That's it.
He insisted there was no falling out involving Hertz or their families.
The two were once very, very close.
The story that has been repeated at Nazim over the years here that Hertz hosted A.J.
Brown on an Alabama recruiting visit.
Clearly didn't do a good enough job because last I checked, A.J.
Brown didn't go to Alabama.
Anyway, they trained together during off seasons and Hertz even became the godfather of Jalen
Brown's daughter.
And so they were tight, not anymore.
That is a good jumping off point.
Let us discuss the question.
Eagles quartered back Jalen Hertz saying on the record to that great NFL insider at GQ
magazine that he quote clearly grew apart from wide receiver A.J.
Brown, how are you interpreting this?
So I've got unlimited wristband, will the beast stand peeting and jiffy Lou.
And we will combine all of these things together.
And we are going to have an all you can eat buffet of the gaba go.
We're going to have the babagunush.
And then if that's not enough, we have a big pot of the jumbalaya.
We got all that ready to go.
Now we kick off with this.
The reason I'm beginning this hour of the show with the A.J. Brown Jalen Hertz story
is because I got so much crap, I just don't understand.
You eat it from Eagle Feds.
Oh, that's why you're your national guy.
You're the overnight guy.
You're a true in the morning.
You just hate the Eagles.
You know, that's why you did this and there's no truth to it.
When I do these rants about Jalen Hertz and AJ, it's not like they hit it.
I wasn't even doing anything that original.
It was obvious.
Anyone with a functioning mind knows these guys hated each other.
The human condition torpedoed that relationship.
Period stop.
Specifically target practice was the problem.
A.J. Brown didn't suddenly grow apart from Jalen Hertz.
That's the company line.
He didn't grow apart because as our friend Andrea, the astrology insider would say that
Mercury was in retrograde.
They stopped exchanging cards.
AJ Brown got married and did not invite Jalen Hertz to the wedding.
Okay.
His whole story hurts was the Godfather of Brown's daughter and he didn't get invited
away.
That's more than just growing apart situation.
It wasn't just the final season together.
They won a Super Bowl and they didn't like each other.
This has been bubbling up.
Buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh,
and tell it finally popped.
AJ, the Eagles have become hopelessly addicted to the Torspur.
It's the only thing they truly do really well on offense is the Torspursh.
That's it.
They treat the brotherly shove, which is the more politically correct way of saying Torspursh.
They treat it like a carnival ride and they have an unlimited wristband of running the
Torspursh and Brown, he's like, what about me?
What can Brown do for you?
He stood around as a very expensive lawn ornament and even though he got paid a lot of money,
he was pissed off.
You can dress this up and say, oh yeah, people grow apart.
It always sounds more poetic to say people grow apart than in this case, I wanted the
damn ball and I didn't get the ball, but I go back to the fact that this is the human
condition, changing seasons, different paths in life, whatever you can say, oh that's
a brown wanted to be force fed the pig skin in the gola.
He wanted those opportunities with the touchdown and Philadelphia and specifically Jalen
Hurts, the few times they would throw the ball down near the goal line.
He wouldn't throw the ball to AJ Brown and most of the time the Eagles and Jalen Hurts
just kept ordering extra helping of Torsche.
They just wanted to run the Torspursh.
That's what they wanted, the Torsche pushy.
All right, furthermore to Dallas we go and everyone's favorite Netbo executive, cowboy
Netbo COO Steven Jones has gone on the record this week admitting yet again that keeping
both CD lamb and George Pickens long term going to be quote really difficult.
Now Steven Jones who won the genetic lottery argued that few teams can afford two receivers
at top of the market.
The prices, Jones, the spawn of Jerry said Dallas has managed to figure things out for
now regarding the finances with the salary cap in 2026.
But he said another huge season for both receivers would create a much more difficult path.
All right, so here's the question.
He got Cowboys executive Steven Jones saying it will be really difficult to keep both CD
lamb and George Pickens long term.
Can you untangle the wording on this?
So we love to parse the words.
In this case it is a whistle.
What kind of whistle is it's a dog whistle.
The Cowboys could easily easily perform the voodoo bugaloo and NFL accounting.
It's all fake.
It's all fraud.
It's all Fougaisy the salary cap in the NFL.
So they could get some N Ron level accounting bringing birdie made offs old people there
and push the contract into multiple years and put all these escape portals and all that
stuff if they wanted to.
And you look at the numbers.
Dallas is spending $61 million this year.
I think I read that number $61 million combined on CD lamb and George Pickens Cincinnati.
All right.
Daddy spent $69 million on Jamar Chase and T Higgins and Detroit.
The Motor City Kiddies there they're lower than that.
They're at 56 million for Amman, Ross St Brown and Jamison Williams.
So there is a path to getting this done.
If you want to get it done they could keep pickets.
The point here and the underlying story which is being hidden by it's going to be really
difficult is the Cowboys truly don't want to keep George Pickens.
They don't trust him.
And Stephen Jones is simply acknowledging the Will the Beast stampeding through the room
that this is a farewell tour for George Pickens.
He's playing Cowboys Plenko from the prices right and every slot.
If you look at the bottom of the Plenko board every slot says what?
That's it.
That's what it says.
And here's what.
He goes out there.
Let's say George Pickens really plays well.
Just dominates and he's great.
He prices himself out the Cowboys.
So I was too expensive.
We can't afford him.
He's the top market ride receiver.
We just can't.
And they say, bye bye.
Like they can do.
Bye bye.
And they hold up their calculator and they say, well, he's the calculator app on my phone
and just the math doesn't work out.
Now if he does not, does not dominate.
Let's say he just acts out.
He's a locker room migraine, George Pickens and he's okay.
Not great.
They say, bye bye.
Again, they wave.
Good bye.
The only way he stays is if the Cowboys win the Super Bowl and every man, woman and child
knows that's not going to happen.
Or if he plays well enough, he walks the line.
However, not well enough to get paid.
Now this would likely also involve another problem, but a minor problem.
Like, yeah, Mrs.
a practice doesn't show up to a team meeting because he was having some ayahuasca or something
like that.
Some wild scenario.
All right.
Last thing.
To Nashville, we go where the new Tennessee Titans coach Robert Salah is staking his reputation.
Not that he has a good one, except with every broadcaster who licks his toes when they
called 49er games back in the day.
Anyway, Robert Salah is putting his reputation on cam ward declaring that the soft quarterback
cam ward who had a reporter kicked out of the Tennessee media.
Kusie held cam ward accountable.
That cam ward, he said, Robert Salah said, this kid's not going to fail.
I put my job on that, he said, close quote.
Now Salah went further calling cam ward quote, special and insisting that he will not fail.
Robert Salah said, and unusually strong, very public guarantee.
This getting a lot of attention.
Second year quarterback.
Tennessee did go out and hire the rotund Brian Dayball as the offensive coordinator who did
so well with the Giants unless he didn't hoping, hoping that Brian Dayball will
somehow turn cam ward into Josh Allen 2.0, which I always just get a great laugh at.
I get a hearty caffal because Brian Dayball happened to be in Buffalo when Josh Allen
happened to show up and turn out to be a good quarterback.
That means that Brian Dayball is the quarterback whisperer.
Okay, that's the ticket.
That's the ticket.
Okay, it's going to just put him on the launching pad and watch out.
So the question is Titans coach Robert Salah really betting on the wrong horse here to
stake his reputation on cam ward.
Again, this getting a fair amount of attention.
So my response, my rebuttal, the mainstream football media acting like Robert Salah went
out on some kind of epic limb, put his neck out there on the line.
However, that could not be further from the truth.
And I keep saying it's like that riddle or the rhyme, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb.
What are you supposed to say?
It's like the hotel pitchman, Captain Obby's.
Yeah, cam ward, you imagine if Robert Salah came out and said cam ward, let me tell you
something.
The way he plays, very similar to diarrhea.
And I had diarrhea last Tuesday and it was not pleasant.
It reminded me of cam ward, the diarrhea that I had.
And they're going to fire me by Thanksgiving because this guy can't play.
He can't handle tough questions because he's soft quarterback and he thinks the team's
ass when he's really the ass.
So you can't say that Tennessee hired Robert Salah for better or worse to oversee cam ward
blasting off into starter.
Does anyone disagree with that?
Nine oz defense of God.
I get it.
I Danny and Nashville knows that.
See bass blind see bass is blind.
He can see that.
Yes, Robert Salah defense of God, doesn't matter.
Doesn't matter.
Robert Salah is, it's like standing at jiffy loob, guaranteeing the oil change.
That is not a bold decree.
That's what you do.
This is occupational survival.
And Salah was given for reasons only they know in Tennessee a lifeboat after flopping
with the J E T S suck, suck, suck, so bad fireman Ed wanted to quit the jets and briefly
did Robert Salah, he sucked with the jets and he used his gift of gab to somehow use this
Fengali effect and convince the brass there that he could prop up their former number one
overall pick.
And now he gets the artisan in him.
The art of manifestation trying to speak this into existence.
And you know, Bobby, Robert Salah, listen, maybe, maybe say accurate quarterback, accurate
quarterback, accurate quarterback, say three times, three times like beetle juice and then
accuracy will arrive while looking into the mirror in the morning while you're brushing
your teeth.
Say accurate quarterback, accurate quarterback, accurate quarterback.
This isn't Babe Ruth calling his shot at Wrigley Field.
It's Wiley, Coyote ordering another rocket from Acme is what it is.
And if Ward succeeds, Mazletov, Robert Salah gets extended.
If he fails, he's just another Meshugana that bet on the wrong horse and Salah with his
tail between his legs goes back to the 49ers electrical substation as the defensive coordinator
and then has every two bit broadcaster on network television, just give him neck massages
and bubble bass and all that.
And that's how this is going to play out.
It is the Ben Mallor Show as we are working our way through the overnight and having a grand
old time here.

It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies
you're sold about it.
It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind, or wake up to a new version

So whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous to book your first trip,
I hope you listen to Solita on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get

When I was 14 years old, I was kidnapped and health captive for 9 months.
I survived and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have

I'm Elizabeth Smart and these are the survivor files.
You just remember this low taunting voice next to my ear saying, shut up, don't say anything.
Every week I'm with survivors who lived through the unthinkable.
I knew if he woke up, without a doubt he was going to hurt me.
I started feeling that there was someone at the end of my bed and I just started screaming.

Hey, this is Ace Davenport and Sean Clements.
We host the podcast Hollywood Handbook on the big money players network.
Our show is extremely accessible to first time listeners.
Each week we talk to someone in show business, aka the biz, and try to help them with their
careers and see what they have to offer us.
Everyone has a good time and no one gets mad at their publicists for letting them do
our show.
You want to greet guests like Sarah Sherman?
Not that great.
Can you help me shape this?
How about we flip it on his head?
How about we flip this around?
What is the surprise one, man?
Actually, you think it's the straight man.
It's actually the one who's acting weird.
Adam Scott, this entire time you've been expecting Adam Sandler to come to visit the show.
I would never let go of that.
I have never set expectations for something like that.
If the universe allows for something like that to happen, I am open to it.
I'm always going to accept.
You know, Danny McBride, fine.
Yeah, saw this fragile masculinity exuding.
I could smell it walking on the hallway to be honest with you.
I was like, is that what you need?
Nope.
It's fragile masculinity.
Ben stiller, no.
I think there's a lot of times out of context, people don't get it or even know what a circle is.
You know what I mean?
Like, you're like, oh, it's so stupid.
Everyone's so dumb.
I'm so stupid.
And fake.
Right, fake and also not interested.
Or just like, oh, I've got my life.
I don't care about your life.
And a lot of other big shots that wouldn't be where they are without us.
Oh, and by the way, Will Ferrell told us personally he loves the show.
And he wants to be a guest on every episode.
But he's just so busy.

Our town is small taters by most standards, right?
But to the people who grew up here, it's everything.
What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America?
Developers with right wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area.
The first thing you see when it pops up is high nears and apple etch.
But they weren't just planning houses.
We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody the Christian way of life.
Stop right there. Is that normal?
A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment.
God need men to rule. Great.
And decides to fight back.
Do not use my hard work to sell your bull.
They're not just opposing what's being planned for here.
Our hometown is not a test tube.
They feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration.
Guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you?
Listen to our town on the I Heart Radio app Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcasts.
You know the feeling.
You make a pick in your fantasy draft in the entire room groans because they wanted that player.
Or you grab a small school rookie off waivers and you start in right before he goes off in primetime.
There's no better feeling than crushing your fantasy football league.
I'm JJ Zacharyson, host of the Late Round Fantasy Football Podcast.

The Ben Mallor Show on Fox Sports Radio.
We know you have options.
Not many good ones at this hour.
So we're glad that you've chosen to hang out with us and be part of the show.
We thank you for that.
Otherwise, what the F are we doing?
What the F are we doing?
If you would like to participate, you don't have to.
I hated participating in school.
I always tried to sit as far away from the teacher.
I even would try to sit outside the classroom if I could, but they never let me do that.
So unfortunately, they had sat in the last row and then sometimes they'd moved me to the front board.
I hated that.
That type of person you want to participate, you are more than welcome to do that at 87799 on Fox.
8779966369.
There are some people complaining.
I got involved to more complained earlier, some other people this hour.
They wanted me to do the whole show dedicated to the punishment of the Clippers.
I'm good.
I'm not right on that.
We did a monologue.
Did the hour on that.

at wink wink dejon love big fan there as there was some videos some photos of tairi kill the
former chief dolphin wide receiver tairi kill who was photographed together with dejon love he
responded to the story love had allegedly i guess claimed that that hill was one of his close
NFL friends and that they trained together and all that and tairi never one to shy away from
engagement never one to say i don't know maybe i shouldn't do this he really leaned to do he
played along with the story and said that's my boy and we used to trade together and everything
claiming that love could run a 4 2 40 as uh believe the term would be trolling would be the
term here trolling uh from tairi kill i thought i wouldn't doubt that they'd probably hung out a
few times uh just somewhere along the way there was some some hangout activity between those two

hurricane parties the nor Easter parties like i doubt was totally formed i had no idea that that
was a thing and then i'm like well wait a minute no it's definitely a thing it's definitely a thing
and everyone running out to get all the alcohol to just get completely hammered before a storm

I do the podcast well yeah the podcast yeah or um or you know what i was thinking what what
what what do you what do you what i don't know what you're doing what are you doing no no no but look
i had an idea what about a birdie uh uh uh picking with poppy versus a little birdie or animal
or something like that what do you do that that's a great idea why do you go down to San Diego Zoo
and what you don't find if a rhino poops that means he's picking the road team how about that
just wait for a rhino to poop and then and that's and if it peas that means it's the home team
that's a great idea and you can tie in the San Diego Zoo i think you should do it and i want nothing
to do with it oh okay no but uh we're actually it's gonna be me and the leopard come we're gonna
be coming back at the left to go what do you think that all the leopard come oh my god that's
how lucky are we coop did you program this coop is it your work as a producer of the show
you you work this over no okay oh poppy well pop going out you're why do you go why do you go hang
out with Bernie he's in Michigan seeing the grandkids go out there live with Bernie you can hang out
with him up with that hey well you're my mentor everyone over here oh you know who said hi to you
the San Diego chicken and actually have a gift for you and find by the chicken so
you know is that right well i love the my favorite chicken one of the great radio promotions of
all time the San Diego chicken which started as a radio promotion i think that's retired now
the chicken right i don't think the chickens performing anymore yeah he comes up rarely but it
becomes out again if you want to see him our coordinates something made me a bend mount our meeting
greeting sandagos you can meet the chicken well if you can promise me poppy that the San Diego
chicken the legitimate OG chicken will make my parents i will do a meet and greet my old stomping
grounds of San Diego all right i got to go but thank there's pop all right there you're found
you fair place it okay thank you for that all right so turning over a new leaf did you see that
Tony Roma called out for his state most people praise Roma saying he hit all the legal
stuff you're supposed to say in those prepared statements well turns out and then not everybody
former NFL quarterback and a man who loves his drugs uh but at least he did back in the day Ryan
Leaf now he did celebrate much of what Tony Roma said in his prepared statement however he
strongly objected to the back pain explanation you might remember Tony Roma leaning into the
agony of having a broken body from playing with the cowboys and that he needed the pain
medication he got off the pain medication he turned to booze and Ryan Leafs give you the thumbnail
recap here in paraphrasing but he essentially said hey you should have taken that out you should have
taken that out and he of course talked about his own addiction and accountability and all that
stuff and he says you chose to do this Ryan Leafs said and now have to admit it and get better leaf
specifically questioning Roma's claim that the debilitating injury the pain the agony
from his cowboy days uh he said Leafs said he personally played golf with Roma on tour
I don't know what that means and frequently saw him on the course and he said if Roma his back pain
was truly that severe why are you out there playing golf all the time oh shots fired shots fired
Leaf argued golfing certainly wasn't helping his back condition and Roma before he got popped
for boozing it up going on that booze cruise around Wisconsin was golfing into the terrible job
now Roma would counter that I would imagine by saying well the reason I was golfing I love golf
and I was drunk and you didn't realize I was drunk or I was on the pharmaceuticals and all that so
take that for what it's worth I actually had Ryan Leaf on my
podcast years ago and I asked him about his famous
rant with the old San Diego chargers when he got up in the face of I think it was Bernie Wilson the old
AP reporter who's now retired in San Diego I think that was who he got upset with and he
he famously gave that drop we don't play it anymore but knock it off and he screamed and so I
asked him about that he got very upset and some off the air and some on the podcast and that's
the only thing I remember about that conversation with Ryan Leaf who's gotten some broadcasting gigs
and so he's found some some things to do some things to get done he has all right it is the Ben

answer which of these stories is not true separating fiction from fact the all sound kind of gov
story number one we'll speak of a devil he shall appear Dejon love is the name of the man who
is accused of pretending to be a 49er player certainly seems like it's not accused he was scam
and women it would appear Dejon love is also the name of a former indoor football player

says he has been getting new followers engagement and even brand inquiries after the story
involve the other Dejon story number two a number of NASCAR drivers looking to make the leap
to Hollywood Tom Cruise just announced that he will be reprising his role as NASCAR driver
Cole trickle in a sequel of Days of Thunder Joey LaGuano is among the drivers angling for
cameo appearances and story of three Odell Beckham recently asked a reporter if he wanted to address

the night pool advice there in the Commonwealth for Lorraine and Scott which number is it I'm
gonna say number two number two all right John and Chico my man John one two or three John which is
the fake story number one number one all right well we don't have time to run out of the stories
uh actually we kind of do have time uh it is not number one that is not the fake story so it's
either number number two or number three and survey says the fake story is the old del beckum
story uh beckum did not admit to getting Botox treatments etc that was the fake story so we did
have one is that a preview of coming attractions so there it is another riveting edition of a
game sweeping Americans a little thing we call fact or fiction every week at about this time
