Welcome. What's up guys? How are you? Came out. Good to see you. What's up, kid? What's up, man? My guy. You know, we're so excited because football has just been so dank and disrespectful for like a decade and we're so excited here in New York that both the Jets and the Giants are winning over the first time since 2009. Let's start with the Giants. Now I was impressed by what I saw up and down but what was the most impressive thing to you out of the Giants 28-21 against Dallas? I think it was the fact that the Giants came out in the offseason and said we want to be bullies in the NFC East and guess what? They came out week one primetime everybody watching and were the bullies. You have a young quarterback in Jackson Dart. You have not only Malik neighbors coming back from a serious knee injury but

2:08Cam Scatiboo coming back from the foot injury and for those guys to show no fear in front the big lights, all the things and the Cowboys had no answer. I did not expect that outcome. I'll be honest. I thought that Giants would be much improved but that kind of performance with a first year head coach in terms of being in work in John Harba. Everything they wanted to be they were on Sunday and so now they just have to continue improving that is not an aberration that is who the Giants are now. Cam are you're somebody that is a reporter all around the league in different various locations and usually if it's freezing in Cleveland you'll be there. So you're somebody that talks to a lot of different teams. I know it's one week and all that stuff but it still was Giants Cowboys. What is the reaction you're getting from people you talk to about what the Giants could be? So a lot of people expected John Harba to have success week one. I think football people always

3:11sort of lean on September first four weeks of the season five weeks. Everybody's still trying to figure out who they are. So I think football people are more measured than us New Yorkers and Giants fans and Jets fans. They're going to be more measured. We're looking at it like wow. The fact that Tom Kaufflin and Rex Rurion were the head coaches the last time these two teams were one on week one. That's incredible. That's what we're excited about because Alan you know me. Don Peter you guys don't know me as well but here's what you need to know. I am starving for a home game on a Sunday. I would love to cover the Jets or the Giants at home at that life. I live in New Jersey. I would love to do that instead of always being in the Midwest or somewhere else. But I haven't been able to because the teams just haven't been good. So we're coming off of New York summer, Nixon five all the time. It would be so fantastic if the Giants and the Jets

4:13who I think are actually going to be better than people expect if they could sustain it. But I think everybody in the NFL sort of saying Jackson Dart, good player John Harbaugh is a great coach. Now let's see in this division can they keep it on? Well, Kimberly, as you will also soon learn on this program, I'm a bit of a commander's fan for better for worse. So I was locked into the other two NFC East teams on Sunday. Now this weekend, I don't think we'll learn very much about the Eagles as they're playing Tennessee, but Washington and Dallas will play, which I think will be a telling game about what is going on in the rest of the NFC East. Do you think that Dallas was just off to a slow start? It appeared Kimberly, like all of the hype we heard about the improved defense. It did not seem to be there. So I'm very curious to see whether the Washington offense wakes up a bit after struggling against Philadelphia against Dallas on Sunday. Well, Peter, you will learn that I used to work for the Washington Post covering the commanders. So

5:18I'm also interested in how the commanders fair very high on Jane Daniels want to see him bounce back. Listen, Dan Quinn, he is on his seats getting a little warm because I think fans have sort of been waiting like, okay, when is this team going to get to the promised land? As far as the cowboys go, you talk to people around Lee, there is no one. And I mean, no one who can say a bad word about their new defensive coordinator, Christian Parker. And I'm the offseason, I talk to a former Eagles player. And I asked him about Christian going from them to the cowboys, the division rider. And the player told me we screwed up. That was not the word he used, but he said, we screwed up. He said, I don't know how we like him get away. And in that moment, I said, okay, it'll be interesting to see how the cowboys do. If you talk to people in that cowboys building, they will tell you what we saw on Sunday is so uncharacteristic of the team that they have, what they've been coaching, and also just

6:20the dogs that they have in that locker room. Like that's been the big thing. They have a lot of changes on that deep, not just the defensive staff, but the defensive personnel on this team. So no one was more shocked than the cowboys coaching staff in terms of what they were seeing, because it wasn't just, Mrs. Simon, it was miscommunication. It was a lack of physicality. Listen, you cannot be the Dallas Cowboys who we talked all last year about, about how they are not physical. They're getting bullied up the middle. You can run on them. You bring in all these guys. Quinn and Williams, Alan, we love Quinn and Williams. He's in there, Kenny Clark is in there. And the giants, again, took it to them. So I think the cowboys are going to bounce back. I think this is a, it takes a minute, but they don't have a lot of time because Jerry Jones is the owner. And I don't think he's going to remain quiet for long. And listen, Christian Parker is very young, but you said very, very respected. It's one thing to get blown off the line of scrimmage. It was the same play beating like I'm a kid. That's coaching to me. That's not making the necessary

7:24adjustments. Now I'll give him a break as it's September and it's extended preseason. That's going to be concerning when you get beat by the same play. So I 100% agree with you. Don, here's Jerry brought up the issue of, you know, we didn't play a lot of our starters during the preseason. I saw Tony Dungee came out and tweeted that we need to get back to having the preseason of old. I don't, I feel like September now has become the preseason for a lot of teams that is not, not an excuse because the giants were able to come out, the jets were able to come out, other team, the Bengal, all these teams were able to show up in week one. But I think what we see time and time again each season is that after week one, we make these bold proclamations about certain teams and we write off others. And as the voice of reason, being the reporter, know how we do, I'm going to give it, I got to see at least a couple weeks, three weeks. If the same pattern continues with the cowboys, or if the giants are on a roll, if they on Monday night beat

8:29the Rams, that's a different scenario to me because you can't just discount it like, well, the cowboys didn't play well. Now it's like, oh, the super team, I think though, I think you need a couple games kind of to gauge the barometer of what we're looking at. All right, let's move on to the jet part of this because you did peak my interest as you always do when you said that you think they're going to be better than most people think. Now that the game against the Titans was one of those, it's the Titans, right? Like it was hard to take them seriously once you saw how they started that game. The tendency didn't look ready. The jets though didn't look like we've seen the jets in a long time. A first, a first drive touchdown came, a first drive touchdown. Let's start there. But everything for Aaron Glenn just seemed to look a lot better and way more organized than it did in week one. What is it about them as it just simply a veteran quarterback? What is it about them that is noticeably different? I will say number one, I think it's a couple different things.

9:31I think going in the off season, I prefer a training camp. Actually during training camp, I went to form park and I sat down with Aaron Glenn. It may seem like a small thing when I tell this story, but he walks in the room and he is smiling and he says it's so good to see you. I look behind me because I'm like he can't be talking to me because this man did all last year was not a fan of the media, was not a fan of the questions and all the things. What I found in sitting, we probably sat down 20 minutes, 25 minutes. What I found in that conversation was a guy who felt, who seemed more relaxed and talked about how the biggest mistake he made, Alan guys was the fact that he's at his best when he has his hands on the players, when he has his hands on the place. He said last year I made the mistake in trying to be a CEO and sort of delegate. He's like that I realize I need to get back to this is my defense. I need to install it. I need to tell the

10:35thing. From that point on, I think Aaron Glenn has been more comfortable because he is more true to himself. Now you get to just the different personnel that they have. Veteran quarterback and Geno Smith, I was curious, are we going to see the Geno from Seattle or Geno from the readers where everything in Las Vegas seems to be a mess. I've been pleasantly surprised. I was on the jet speed when Geno was drafted. I've seen his career, that career arc this entire time. I just think a lot of these guys make a Fitzpatrick. They're they're Demario Davis. I was on the beat when he was drafted. All of these guys are vets. They have seen it all and there's a sense of calm and I know who I am. Well again, we will see if it can continue but good returns in week one Alan. It's all going to Kimberly Mariner weekly spot here on Don Honor and Rosa Berg every Wednesday at five o'clock, competent quarterback play. When you look at the history of the jets, if they just get competent quarterback play, they do well. They just couldn't even do that for so long,

11:35but the stats that Geno put up. I know it's Tennessee and he's got to prove it week and week out. But if he plays just that way, the rest of the season, that could be enough for how many wins. Okay, when I say it's day one seven eight. Does that sound appetizing? Does that sound appealing to Jet fans? I mean, I'm there to three. But but compared to where we are starting and what we have seen. I think as a jet span all and again, Alan, correct me if I'm wrong. I think all you want to see is we are actually competitive and we're winning games and we are trending in the right direction. It seems like the people running the ship know the direction it's headed and it's moving forward. We're not taking one step forward. Ten back. Right. And I think, you know, Geno, the bridge to whoever may be in the future. That's the big question. That's a big question. That's a big question. But again, to Don's play, this team has been starved for the answer at quarterback. And there

12:39been many times where again, I'm old enough to remember when the Daily News had the back page of a star is born from Mark Sanchez and that a star is born headline for Geno Smith. And when Ryan Fitzpatrick threw like three or four interceptions in a fourth quarter in Buffalo, like I've seen a lot lately and I think the right pieces, they just need to sustain it. Now, we there was a lot of chat about, you know, the Rams decision making in their trip to Australia. Right. And it did not go great. Which for a lot of Giants fans, I think is scared them. The idea that the Rams are just not going to put together two complete bricks in a row. What do you expect to see from Mick Vey and this Rams team coming off of such a bad performance in week one? Header, did you see what Sean McVey looks like? Did you see him in his in his media availability this week? Then man did not sleep on the way to Australia and it doesn't look like he's slept since he's been back. The bags under that man's

13:40eyes because to your point to go overseas to be criticized the way they were to lose Miles Garrett. They didn't just lose the game. They lost Miles Garrett for a minimum of four weeks. That means he could be out for even longer. There's also the question of Aaron Donald. Will he suit up from everything I've been told this a Monday night game. They got to get through Friday's practice. That's going to be the heaviest practice they have before a Saturday. They're going to decide how they're going to ask him how does he feel after Friday's practice and then they'll gauge whether he will play if they do not have Aaron Donald as well. Then I think the Giants are cooking with something even if Aaron Donald's on the field. The man hasn't played into an after-year. He's on the field. That's right. He won't be on the field for every play. We know the Rams defense. It's predicated on that front four. That is everything. They want to rush for it so they can have their secondary just sit back there. I think the Giants should feel confident but also understanding that

14:45Sean McVeigh is not sleeping. He's not going to sleep and he's not going to allow at home to let his team go down O and two. I think the Giants put some good things on tape. I don't think they should fly a car so country and feel like we have no shot. Buffalo had another interesting start to the season. That game with the Texans was actually a fun ending and it's Josh Allen doing Josh Allen things once again. It's so bold. Is this funny? There's so many times you get to with a team and you feel like they peek and then if they fall off you feel like you already had your shot. Now it's over. They make a coaching change. He's still who he is. Is this are we at that place now with the bills where it's they're you going to ask me is this job of time? Well, don't you think it is? I've not been here. We've not been here for like four years. But yeah, how much longer can we say it though before it's like it's going to be over? Yeah, I don't know because I thought last year the road was paved. Right. You had Lamar missing time.

15:50You had Joe Burrow missing time. You had the Patriots with the easiest schedule. You had Drake excuse me. Bo Nicks getting injured in the playoffs. Like all of these things happening kind of set up for what you thought would be Josh Allen to get to this to be both. I don't I don't know. I feel like as long as I almost feel like Joe Burrow's point about my career is my window. I feel the same is true about Josh Allen because he is so uniquely gifted. But everybody there's only going to be so many years that the AFC East is going to be down. Like I don't know what's happening in Miami. That's going to take nobody does. But but I feel like in New York and I think the Patriots like I do think at some point those other Patriots when they get AJ Brown back like they're contender to the jets at some point will be contender. Like there is a shelf life on it. But again you look at Lamar. You look at Burrow. He's got a defense now. The Ravens new head coach. They've got you know Lamar is

16:54healthy. He's bought in Bengals like Broncos. Despite what happened week one. There's still a formidable opponent. So and the Jaguar. So the window is cool. A little bit tougher. But he's so good that I'll leave it a crack open for Josh Allen as long as he's soon up. And are the Lions basically the bills of the NFC where the window is starting to close to or because that division so tough, Kimberly. Is it even harder for them? I had the others. There was a point where I thought and I didn't Campbell's bad luck charm because I was there in San Francisco when there were up double digits in the championship game. And I remember sitting there in the press box and we're going to have time and I was like, I don't like I don't like this for the Lions. The fat the 49ers are going to regroup watch. And that's what happened. Then I was in Detroit when they were the number one seed and the commanders came in the plucky commanders and was like, okay pencil the Lions into the NFC title game. And then they got smoked at home. The Lions to me that window. I don't know man like

18:00that they've had losing Ben Johnson losing Aaron Glenn. Think that took a toll a lot of the injuries they've had particularly on that offensive line, particularly in that second that defense. That's why Thursday must win must win for them in my mind because of that division. Even though the Packers looked wild in week one, the Bears are right there. The Packers have a good team. And we'll see what the Vikings are. But I just think the way their division is set up they had they have to get off to a start. Well, it's going to be a lot of fun. Really appreciate you doing this every week and hopefully we have exciting things to talk about with the locals in week two. And hopefully Kimberly can actually do a home game for a change. But it's great to say in the atmosphere. Yes, I appreciate that. Good to see your face as boys. This is what happens when you get an adult in the room. All the things that you keep hearing is that listen, not since Tom Confelon had the giants have a good coach. And that's the thing that impressed me the most. I asked Kimberly Martin what impressed her the most. To me is just how up and down thoroughly they outcoach the Dallas Cowboys. And boy, that's something you haven't said in a long, long time. Now, the big topic is the Rams. It's Monday night. It's against the team that everybody says is going to go to the Super Bowl representative of the NFC. And did they lay an egg in Australia against the San Francisco 49ers? I mean in every way, shape or form. So how concerned are you, John, about the possibility of the giants letting down after the big win on Sunday night? I don't think there's any chance of that. You know, our guys understand, I'm mature guys, they're interested going into the game that it was the first game of a 17 game season. No

23:13matter what the outcome is going to be. And that the Rams are going to be next up regardless of what the outcome is. So our job is to get better, keep improving because you have to. You have to improve to have a chance to be successful next week. So our guys understand that. And I'll expect for any inkling. I'll believe that'll happen for one second. And your reason, I think he could say that confidently as a guy that's been in the league forever is that he won't let it happen. Right. I'm sure he was probably in their ear after John Mara spoke after the game and after all the hugs and the game balls and everything when the when the NFL films camera shut off back to work. Let's go back to work, boys. Does he seem like the type of guy that was in basket? No, right. Yeah, that's what I like about you know. So that's why he could say it. Compton. You let him have a day. But then it's like, all right, enough. Exactly. Let's get back to it. And the fun and the good thing is too is I think he's got guys like, um, he's got guy burns is like that. I think darts like that.

So as long as you have your leader guys that are doing that stuff and not getting caught up in it, you're culture. And this is where it. This is where having a hard boy is so important because he's he's one. A lot of gay. Like the giants fans haven't seen games like this past Sunday ever. And there's a generation of giants fans that have not seen you go out on national TV as an underdog and win by eight points. You never that team. But even especially who it was against. Yeah, I agree. Especially Don, but they lose every time they're on prime time. I mean, they're. Yeah, but opening day against. No, it's extra sauce. What I'm saying is you have a you have a coach who's come in and I'm not I'm not calling him a lumbarity. But do you know how many times John Harbour has done what they did this past Sunday? No, you don't guess what neither does he. It's too many. It's it's a hundred times. What we're he,

25:15what were the Ravens go out and beat a scene that's really good. That's supposed to be really good. And they just beat them by eight points and move on to the next. That is what John Harbour has been doing for most of his career up until last year. Giants Cowboys. You know what his Giants Cowboys was Ravens Steelers. Right. How many times was that in prime time over and over and over. They keep this is what he does. So he you can feel good about the fact that they probably will not let up this week because they have a coach who this doesn't mean that much for you know what I know I can serve myself with. Not I shouldn't say concerned, but just some on my radar is not them basking the glow of the Cowboys and having a let down. It's the whole house money. I've heard this phrase since Sunday. Well now the Ram is that's house money. Right. We just want to be one in one that start the season because we've got we've got the the Titans and the Cardinals. We're going to say that. We want it to just we were we'd be happy with two and two going into the commanders game week five. Now you know we

26:16could still be three and one. So we can lose to the Rams and still be three and that's what that's that's what you don't want to keep it in. That's a great point. I even think about that. It's something you can say. You heard house money. Well, we were kind of suggesting it, right. We were kind of suggesting it, but first of all, the house money thing that fans say doesn't ever affect the player. Player once went over freaking it. Of course. Right. They all so so it's not like it's in their head like that's all right. If we don't we don't have to go hard this week. We can lose and it's okay. They don't think that way, but the mentality now should be to be as greedy as possible. Like we don't know what the Rams are going to look like. I don't know what that trip did to them. I mean, I have I'm guessing they're going to come out a little more pissed off about how they played in Australia. No, they're going to be and they'll be a little more locked in because it's their home and it's their home open or a lot of stuff. But you don't think for a second in LA in that building that you're not going to have New York fans. Oh, you know, many people we heard could just call us on the ramp. I'm going to LA. Yeah. The Rams. The Rams are a very good team.

27:17Like it like they're an elite franchise, but LA is not a great NFL market. It's true. So you could probably get the bill. Like you don't have to worry about it being like a tough place to play. It's a matter of if you catch him at the right time, you could be two or no and then you look at the next two weeks. That's how you got to look at this. The things that could happen based off of what you did against Dallas. Uh, Karatee, the RBI single in the bottom of the 13th twins win over the five to four is a play. He said the bases loaded and won out. Oh, I had to base nobody score. And it was a play. No, I know how it's a single. But I think Lumbar Jr. You're going to make the play. Anthony, you were watching. I'm sure it would have been a tough play, but he could have made that play. He could have, but at this point, just just end this game. And I'm really I'm really I'm it's almost as if he's taught he talks about the Yankees. Anthony Pusik are true masters. What's your point? When I talk about the match? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. What's more important than beating the twins or hearing how Aaron judges?

28:22Before seven o'clock, I'd like to get an update on Aaron. He's just saying let's move on. I don't care if they lose in the 15th inning to the Minnesota twins. That's fair. I'm annoyed. Alan was like screaming like it was a LDS game. No, because I want the freaking division. Well, you're not getting. You're not getting. Thank you, Captain office. Both. Very good. Well, you're the one who said it. Excellent. They could be 11 and two when you stole my not getting the division. Well, I didn't want to give up on him. Sorry. I like to I like to fight for now. Wait, so I'll do the I'm waiting for the text from Alan tonight when the when the race score five runs with two outs and nobody on it. I'm not getting win five. I get like you at that point. I fall. My god, that team pisses me off. It's like enough with this team. Right. It's going to be so much fun watching them beating them, just beating them or or or it will be not fun. Hopefully really fun. But yeah, another extra inning loss for the Yankees. This one they scored two runs of the ninth and they force the extras had their opportunities. Didn't come through and now the race could extend

29:23their lead in the division with a win tonight. So, so yeah, we just don't want the whole house money now. Listen, there is a reality of. Hey, you would take the split going in, but you would just as you go and listen, if they play well and lose on the last second field goal, it's all how it looks like, but you know how it works. You know sports are if the giants get boat race, didn't that game on Monday night football. What do you think the narrative is going to be all the cowboys actually stink? Remember, they were only a seven win team last year. Oh, the giant just won a home game. It's Dallas, but now when they went up against the big boys, because that's what it is. We build up to knock down. You know, we overrate, then we underrate. That's what it is. It's never a happy medium. There's never a reality. It's all just exaggeration either way. So, but Alan's right because he's around players all the time. This is media talk. This is fan. There really is. John's been in there to tell him, listen, we could beat this Ram team. There's no reason why we can't beat them. Look at the holes. They're not 100%. I mean, you have no you have no Garrett and Donald, you all of a

30:27sudden are a mortal. You're at least a mortal. They're not scary. No, they're not terrifying. And I had a quarterback that just came across like with a grade of like an F. I mean, he played putrid in that game. I don't think I understand it so straily and all that, but you know, the vision game, by the way, the Rams and 49ers are weird. You have to remember, it's kind of sometimes it can be hard to judge a game between two rivals like that. They will play weird and close every time, but they got mopped. But you want to talk about right now, even with a game play. I think the Rams are better than the Giants. I don't think that I'm going out on the limb to say that, but all the Giants have to do is be better than them on Monday. You know, and then you don't have to worry about them until you get to the playoffs, right? Like so they're coming back from from Australia. They played terribly. They're shorthanded. You're coming in feeling great. Go on. Take care of business. It's what you do. And then we'll assess it on Tuesday. With that in mind. Always but but we're real quick. Yeah. Of course. Yeah. And it's nice to be able to do it. Yeah. And you know what? And the Jets the same thing. All right. All right. They beat a Tennessee Titan team. They were supposed to, but they beat

32:31them up and down on the score really did fairness to how thoroughly outplayed the Titans were against the Jets. Now it goes up and notch against the Packers, but you've reason to believe Packers are shorthanded on defense. They've lost six consecutive games. Obviously dating back to last year. They've got a new quarterback. Didn't look good in the second half of their game against Minnesota. They're real in a bit. And I would expect because of how hyped the Jets fans are. And they took over Tennessee that they're holding onto their tickets. And they're going to be in that building. And they're going to wear their white on Sunday against the Packers. Aaron Glenn. What he expects from the home crowd on Sunday at one. I think any team in this league wants to make sure their home feel become an advantage when it comes to crowd noise and when it comes to momentum. And you guys have heard me say this before is we create a momentum. And when I say that, I'm talking about coaches, players and the fans and they did a hell of a job last week of helping us create the momentum that we need it to do the job we need to do at the best of our ability. So man, we want to make

33:35this place a place for it's hard to play. And it's nothing like playing in New York City just in general. And once you start to create an atmosphere where maybe you make your fans proud and they start showing up and they start understanding exactly what we're trying to accomplish, mentality, man, this is a tough but a good thing. So I'm looking forward to them coming out. I'm expecting the crowd to be exactly who New York Jets fans are. And that's, that's, that boost we need. Has that building ever had no, even when the giants were good, which the building was open for their super ball, right? For that year they weren't in the second one, right? They were not in seven in the second year. Yeah, there were nine and seven. The second super ball. And they did get a home game against Atlanta. So there were, but you should have a war like 2011. That's the number of a decade ago. But what you saw in the giant, what would everybody come out of there? There were less cowboy fans that we've seen before. There was an energy that was a spark.

34:36But you don't hear that much. Now it's time for the Jets fans to give that to their team coming up on Sunday. It's what it's, again, eight and nine. I mean, well, eight, eight, that offense was so much fun. But the nine, ten seasons, especially the ten season, there was something. Yeah, there was something when the Jets played in that building. You know, it had a rule. Like to me, it's, there's nothing like a New York roar. New York roar in any of the buildings. Yeah, but it's a Yankee Stadium, whether it's the garden, whether it's even in that dump. It's, there's a roar about it. It's something that is distinct. And when you hear it, you know it. And that's kind of what I think Aaron Glenn is suggesting. I mean, Harboh is not talking about it, but you know that's what they want. Harboh talked about the crowd. He couldn't, he couldn't believe fans showing up as early as they did. Like, this guy's been a league, you know, 19 years he's a head coach. And he was taken aback by the reception his team got and how much they rode that wave. It is important when a team is trying to make a turn

35:40that you really got to have that first good home game to set the tone and get your crowd on your side. The problem with the Jets is they got to play a green Bay team. That's a good team. And they got to show you like you got to give them something from the spirit team though after last week. You know, but you got to give something out of the, like, they got a great start in Tennessee, but Tennessee, we know is not very good. The start of this game, Captain obvious, is really critical to get the get the crowd on the side and really, because I already believe in after one week. Well, by the way, all, all I would say though, I agree with you, but all I would say that means to get them going is just don't have anything bad happen. Well, yeah, that though, like, though, the Jets fans will be up this weekend as long as you don't come out and give up seven in two seconds again, my name, my name night three years ago, Aaron Rogers has the flag and that place was as loud as it's ever been for a football game. Well, they're two years, right? Yeah, two years ago. It's two years. It feels. No, you scared me at three. It's two years. But you know, I'm saying he's at no, no, no, no, no, it just came back and played another year. It was 23.

36:41Yeah, that was one. Three years ago. Then he played a season. I'm not crazy. And then we had the Justin Fields. It was the 23 season. That's three years. Yeah, man. Yeah. So it was as loud as it's ever been ever when he came out with that play. It was unreal. And then in four plays, he sucked the wind out, but the kid has that kickoff return. And now it's just up for grabs, as you guys like to say, the end of getting the win. My god, I think that might be the last time it ever rocked. Yeah, but that was such a bizarre circumstance. It was so bizarre because the crowd part of the hype of the crowd when they ended up playing well was because the crowd was like, don, there was a good drunken stupor because the Rogers thing happened. Like people's heads were upside down. So then when something good starts happening, it's like you're you're going crazy. But what's what's kind of unfair in the comparison between the Jets and the Giants, the Giants fans were hyped because they got a new coach. Yep. And they're excited about their young quarterback. Like if there was reasons to be excited, most of the off season, Jeff fans weren't excited because our Glenn came back and you know,

37:43Gino Smith was a nice pick up, but it wasn't it's not nothing exciting. It was like, okay. Now the only thing they have to go on is the fact they beat Tennessee. You know, so I don't think it's going to be the same hype. I think the fans are going to be excited to win the game. The Packers are not the Cowboys as far as traveling, but they're very good. They're in the top five of traveling. So I'm sure Packer fans are going to be in the building for sure. But Gio fans were excited all off season to see John Harbaugh and to see all the new shiny toys that they got. You know, the Jets had a good draft, but you know, Gino Smith's, you know, they weren't level there. So the site based on Sunday. That's it. But but it could be enough. That could be enough. I it's it's it's going to be a fun it's going to be a fun weekend. And in both cases for these football teams. And again, maybe in a month, guys, we're talking completely differently. And either the Rams somehow stink or the Giants follow up who knows. But as of this moment, both the Jets and

38:43Giants based on what we saw of them last week and their two opponents last week who both disappointed the Rams and the Packers. You go into the Sunday thinking them both winning again is 100% on the table. And it'll hit even different because as much as the Cowboys were a thing, these are the Rams. And yeah, you had to be the tightness of the Packers. It may not be the Lombardi Packers. It might not be the far packers or the Rogers Packers, but it's still a team. But you're going to be a dog in your own building. But in the case of both teams. Two of their best players are unavailable. Yeah. Not that's that. And it's something. So, you know, Mike Parsons won't be back for a few weeks. Josh Jacobs on the exemplest. It's not the same Packers team. It's not the same Rams team. So again, and again, and I'm sorry, I don't want to keep throwing these in your face. But all preseason when I hear from you guys, but this is the most important. You don't know who you're playing. Now you're this version that we're getting of the Rams, the Packers are not quite the unbeatable as we thought we see. Just don't know.

I get what you want to be a sucker your whole life. Of course. They screwed up. They let their best player go and you're going to sit there and just and not not root for Peter to send the message to Sterns that he screwed this team up. Well, I know not because I want I want the match to win even in the mean, meaning of this game. And before you say why would I want the match to win in the mean in this game? I'm going to go back to the drive season to see to see them the go where they

44:04want to be with this game. And you fought for them not to, you know, not to not to throw a game away, right? You know, I had a bit of, you know, I'm saying, so I'm spending my time and money to move for the match. But you didn't, you didn't want to ruin it. But you didn't want to, I understand them winning. I wanted them to win an extra. But I kind of thought, can I, if I could jump in Sam, I think there's two different things that play here. You're, you don't have any emotion for Peter Lonzo. You did, you don't, like him being gone doesn't mean anything to you, right? Like you, it's no big deal. I already, he's gone. That's the way it goes, right? Yeah. Yeah. So that's why companies go. Right. Okay. And you're, you're not wrong in the field that way. But a majority of Metz fans loved him. And they didn't want to see him go. And they were mad that the franchise let him go. And so because the season has gone down the tank, they're only way of expressing their emotion to the, like you can't walk up to Steve Cohen and complain. And if they, and if

45:07you could, he wouldn't really listen. So this is the only way you can show your emotion. And that's what that was last night. It was a one off. This is not going to be a regular thing. But they're rooting that that. They were having one. It's too no longer to, but it's two different things. It's affecting the nine guys who are on the field. But it's different. They're not, they're not, this is not rooting against the Met players. This is rooting for former player that they love. I said, Sam, how, how, how old are you? How old are you? But he's not wrong. That players can be affected by that. He's right. But I'm 55. Okay. 55. All right. So you, you and I are the same age. We were a little too young to, to, to know, but I saw my mother cry when Tom Seever came back and pitched against the Metz as a red. She cried. She loves the Metz. And for her, that was hard to see a former player that she loved now, not playing for her team. And so that's just kind of how some fans feel. It wasn't about the Metz. It was about the player and the fact that I'm frustrated. He's no longer my guy. And Sam, football's got one in 17 games.

46:12This is one out of 162. And, no, I get that. A fan's being mad. Like, you know what? You pivoted away from Alonzo and Nimmo and McNeil and you told the world this team's not good enough. I'm going to make this current team better. And now you're going to finish 12 games under 500. You can't understand why fans are mad. Now listen, I wanted to see the Metz win in extra innings. But you know what? I was happy for Peter Lanzo. And those cheering for Peter Lanzo is booing stirrings on the job that he did. You don't want to be a roob. And just sit there and just say, oh, players, common players go. Well, too many players have come and gone with the Metz. Too many great players have finished someplace else, whether it's Darryl Strawberry, whether it's Tom Seever, countless others that ended up someplace else instead of finishing their career here. That's why I did that. The Ed Creme Bull thing. So I'm not going to tell you you're wrong to root for the team, but to not get it to be embarrassed by it. Fans finally showing their displeasure. All we ever say is, how are you supposed to move the needle? How are you supposed to let the ownership know that you're displeasure? You let it know. But also, I will say

47:15one thing. I think two things can be true. I think one, they're definitely obviously were players who probably felt the way about it. On the other side, though, there are players who go, man, if they, if the fans really love you here, though, even when you leave, they'll keep rooting for you, because they connect that much with their players. There is some upside to that to seeing how much the players, I mean, the fans cared for Pete. I've had registers with players too. Yeah, I just think that there's a motion that comes in and all Matt fans were showing that they're still passionate. They still care. And that's the way they were able to show that expression and just being, oh, well, players come, players go, I'm just going to blindly root for the team. That's what they take advantage of, Sam. That's why they've got you, because no matter how much they put you through, you still come back like the sick, like a sick of fan. That's not, that's not how real change happens.
