Hi, boomer in Geo County alive. The build forward tough studio on the fan and CBS for its network gets some goals in this segment on the red pocket mobile fan line. That's brought to you by your new ultimate sell carrier red pocket mobile. That number is always 88888. 101 nine, you heard Jerry earlier mentioned the Jalen Waddle trade to the Denver Broncos, which of course is going to make their offense more potent. You would imagine, but this Miami dolphins team is really going through a massive rebuild. Of course, firing the coach getting rid of two of the did sign Malik Willis. Maybe it's because they had to hit a salary cap floor for some reason, but they got a bunch of dead money on the cap with Tyree kill and others. I just, if you're going to go full tank, go full tank, but they bring in a guy like they are. Yeah, but signing Malik Willis doesn't go along with that, though. That's, that's the thing. And maybe, I don't know, that's a smoke screen. Maybe Jeff Hathley's like, yeah, let's go sign Malik Willis because he stinks. And then we'll get the number one overall pick, but that's what they're trying to do. And you see 10 NBA teams right now that aren't trying to win to get one of the top three picks in this upcoming NBA draft.

I think you're going to see many, many teams in the NFL try maybe early on to win. But then when they realize that they can't, you're going to see decisions made by management that says, all right, we're going to put our team in the best chance to lose. And they're going to want to get to the top of this draft where you're going to have more quarterbacks than you had this year. And the dolphins are going to be one of those teams. I'll tell you what, it took Denver Broncos not that long to get out from underneath Russell Wilson in that mess with. And you'll hack it and everything else that was going on there. And Sean Payton is going all in right now. And they're doing that before they have to pay. Bonics, that's what they're doing. And they are right in the mix. They are right there as one of the top teams in a league. They have all their young stars signed, I believe, especially on defense. So I think they're going to be a really good team again this year. And I look at the dolphins. They have 111 million dollars of dead cap money. So that's two of that's Bradley Chubb, that's Tyree Kill.

I don't know what the jail and a lot of factors into that at all with the trade, not sure. So I mean, it's amazing what they're doing. They're basically tearing it all the way down. And what they have to hope is they have to hope to do what Darren Moogie has done with the jets over the last year. I mean, Darren Moogie's made a lot of moves. He's made a lot of trades. He's added a lot of assets into the draft. I mean, obviously he's got to make the right picks, bring the right players in here and start building this roster for whatever young quarterback that they're able to get their hands on either this year or next year. Mike McDaniel and Rob Salah were hired either the same year or a year apart in their jobs with the jets and the dolphins. And it appeared that Mike McDaniel had figured it out with the dolphins in that year where they were winning every game. They were blowing people out and of course, it was playing great to us in the MVP conversation. Right. And I remember having conversations where I'm like, wow, you know, the Miami dolphins did it.

They were able to turn it around and rebuild it and get it done with the jets are still scuffling. But now here we are again with two regime changes. And then both those organizations and the AFCs completely tearing it down to the studs. Well, I mean, I guess you'd say Buffalo did that before they got Josh Allen. And then you'd also say that New England was right in the right spot to be able to add Mike Frabel to that. Makes with the second year quarterback much like the giant to the right team for Jackson Dart and John Harbour. Yeah, I mean, like the similarities all around the league that you can look at. And you could say, okay, if you can try to recreate what this one team did, you can actually go and win a Super Bowl. I mean, look what the Seattle did and look how many players Seattle's lost into free agency. Yeah. I mean, then that's and that happens a lot and coaches by the way. Yeah. I mean, it happens a lot. You have success at the NFL and a lot of it has to do with the fact that you probably up against the cap and you made some right decisions. But you can't keep everybody and then the coaches start getting picked off your roster.

I mean, that's why you look at what these some of these dynasties have done. The Patriots and the chiefs and how they figured it out for so many years. It really is amazing. It's not it's not a common occurrence in the NFL. I mean, staying on top is almost as hard as getting on top. Yes. And you got to have the right mix of players and coaches. And I mean, to me, the coaches, the most important hire you make is he's the one that sets the tone in the locker room. And the players that got to play for him and got to respect them. Go to Pete and Kennell worth what's going on Pete. Good morning, gentlemen. How are you? Good, Pete. What do you got? So I called in a couple weeks ago about Stephen Ross and the dolphins and, you know, the water news is it was hurt. But tearing it down from the studs and building through the draft. Okay, they're no longer going to sign these free agents to these contracts to put a bandaid on issues they have. Also, you brought up. You also you brought up Mike McDaniel. Yeah, the first two years are great. If two doesn't get any concussions, we don't know what we're talking about.

Okay, it could be a completely different story. I think that really hurt his career in Miami. And I really believe that the veterans they brought in through free agency had their own way of doing things and didn't really relate to the way Mike McDaniel wanted to do things or hold people accountable. IE being late to meetings and things like that. Yeah, I mean, you got to you got to control the team. And that's what John Harboss has been brought in to do here at the Giants. But I think right now the Miami dolphins, I think they have. I was a seven picks in the top 94. That's pretty damn good, man. Top 90 top 94 picks of this NFL draft. The dolphins have seven picks and they are now the team with the second most draft capital in this draft behind the jets. Yeah, just leapfrog the Las Vegas Raiders. So how about this man, the top seven teams with the most draft capital going into the 2026 NFL draft in April are all AFC teams.

Yeah, I'm looking at it right now. Yeah, so Miami's put themselves in a very similar situation as the jets of put themselves in. Although the dolphins went and got a younger quarterback, the jets getting a veteran. But like the jets need to win some football games this year. This is the first year of Jeff Haffley and the GM down there. I mean, people are going to understand that this is going to be a bad year for them. But the jets, we know it's not going to be a great year. But they're going to have to win some games and look like they're on the right track. I will say that for Darren Moogie to come in here, he's been here about a year now. Make all these moves that he has made. And set the team up for next year at this time with getting rid of all this dead cap money. The salary cap is going to go up. They are going to have a ton of opportunity to be signing next year's free agents. A question is, is the owner going to have the patience to stay with this group?

I think if I had to guess. If they go four and 13, the coach and say, I have this gone, the GM is staying. That's what I would say given given what Darren Moogie has done here. I mean, come on, anybody can see what he's done and how he's done it. Now it comes down to the hard part as you always say is the draft and finding and picking the right players. Yeah, and if he does and he does what we've seen how he Roseman do and fill it with Delphi and Brad Holm to do it. Joe Douglas did that the year that they drafted. So I'll scarred Darren and Garrett Wilson. Yeah, but then he blew it with the quarterback. You know, it just absolutely swing in a miss of epic proportions. But if he's able to do that, Darren Moogie, those two guys I mentioned earlier have done. I mean, he's going to go down in history as one of the greatest figures in Jets history. If he's able to do that, make the right choices, get the quarterback and build a team to the draft with the massive amount of picks that they have. They have four picks in the top 44, 44 and you know, like going 44 point to the Detroit

model. Yep. That's your model that you like to, that you like to point to. Well, you would always point to the Detroit model as far as like Dan Campbell and change in the culture. Yes. And my whole thing with that was like is Dan Campbell is good of a coach if Brad Holms is in plucking five starters out of the draft three years and around the same thing. I would say about Ben Johnson going to Chicago like Ben Johnson's a maniac. Yeah. Clearly. And you really didn't know that until you saw it this year. Yeah. I was shocked when he walked into the building the first time when they put that video out on Instagram of how he was yelling and screaming in the facility. And I was like, wow, this guy's got a different personality than I ever knew. But you know what that is? That's the, that's the energy that is required. I think Aaron Glenn tried to bring that here. But he also got into it with the media and, you know, probably it was over skis a little bit early on. You think? Yep. Brad and point plus a new jersey. What's going on? Brad. Boys, how are we doing this morning?

Good, Brad. What's up? A lot of sports stuff figured I'd change it up. I'm curious if you've seen Gio, the new, the new Montoya pour for four from this season of Spanish cremation island. Yeah. So I saw it thanks to KFC barstools Instagram where he broke it down and showed the highlights of it. So I guess it was actually on the one year anniversary of Montoya pour for four. And if you don't know what we're talking about, it's Temptation Island. It's the Hispanic Temptation Island. They show a video of this guy, Montoya's girlfriend, having relations with another man in the other house and he goes running over there screaming and yelling where there was another one this year, same exact thing. But this one, don't you have a little bit of skepticism with this one, though, Brad? Not, not it's not nearly as good, but I will say I think it's a little bit of a, a little bit of a work as he goes sprinting down the beach. I thought the iPad throw was a little, uh, a little bit too much too. I mean, yeah, yeah, it was a very, it was a girl who throw two, Brad.

Yeah, I mean, I, to that video as KFC had pointed out in this thing, the original Montoya pour for four got 250 million views. So you can't blame the Temptation Island producers for trying to recreate that whole thing. So that's sort of the first thing that I saw. But that original one, I mean, that guy, the, the one in the other house, the one that she just met was, I mean, that was, you want to talk about pound town and he had to sit there and watch it, but this one doesn't feel real to me. It just doesn't. And that's what would suck about it. Like there was such a genuine realness to the, the, the first one, a reaction. This one doesn't, I mean, it kind of maybe sell it to me that it's real, but I'm, I'm not believing it. Ronnie and Tom's river. What's up, Ronnie? Yeah. Boys, what's going on? What you got, man? I'm actually pretty impressed. You guys are weaving in and out. You weave in sons of bitches, you, uh, to, uh, going into Montoya talk, the draft talk,

you guys are, you know, I'm really proud of everything at the WBC this morning. You know, we're, we're touching on a lot of different things. Yeah. I love it. You're touching a lot of things. I like it, boomer. So, um, the draft, um, the draft. I think you guys are forgetting that, you know, uh, mougies doing a good job, but it's the, the people behind the scenes, the giants hired Donna Ponte, who's doing a great job. Everyone's, uh, you know, a fallen to their, uh, knees. They're her. That's wonderful. You get your guy, Dan Schneider out in the, uh, uh, Seattle doing a killer job for all these years. It's, it's a one man job, I guess, mougie makes the picks, but who are the people that the jets are hiring behind mougie to kind of help him, uh, Sherpa, his way, uh, through the draft, uh, these and right. Right. And by the way, it's John Schneider out in Seattle and he is one of the best, uh, GM's in a league and he was there when Pete Carroll was there and is there now with, uh, you know, with their new coach and, and I just think he's like the how he roseman of the West Coast. Yeah.

I think Rick Spielman is the guy that are Ronnie and Tom for was looking for. There's, he's still a consultant with the team. Is he not? And he's with the 30, 13th, right. But there is someone there that is a consultant, but I, I, if I'm Woody Johnson, and I understand that he has made some really, really bad decisions in the past and has looked at as one of the worst owners in the NFL, if he doesn't let mougie after what he's done so far, you know, do his job without meddling, uh, then, then, I mean, he, I guess it's anything's possible with Woody Johnson. But I, I, I, I'm going to believe and I'm going to hope that he lets mougie do what he's doing and not, you know, get Rick involved and all this other stuff and look at the mad and ratings and whatever else. And all right. I'm about. Yeah. I don't think that's going to be the case. Well, it was at one point, wasn't it? Um, so the rumor was, yes. That's just a rumor that, that I can't say, a rumor was a report, a report, yep.

You know, I don't, was it a confirmed report or is it just hearsay with people talking around the issues bottom line is Woody Johnson's a horrible owner of a football team and you're worried that he's going to screw up a good thing every single time. And we believe that right now, Darren mougie is a good thing, but we just don't know. Right. Don't know. And the players, Darren mougie was trading up in the draft. I think last year too, right, wasn't he? Didn't he move around a little bit in the draft board? I'm trying to think if he did or not, trading up, I don't remember. He's a maneuver. But when you got so many picks, that's when you start seeing the maneuvering. That's right. And that's why you want as many picks as you can have. So if you do identify players that you really want, you just go and get them. Yep. Two first round picks this year, two first round picks next year. I mean, this is, it's all in front of you. They got it. They got a draft haul over the next two years. And this is, this makes or breaks this group of guys here now running this team.

All right, boomerangio on the fan and CBS sports network yesterday, a caller called up. It said, did I see the Mets play the Bob does sports guys in a round of golf on YouTube and I hadn't yet. I haven't gotten through the whole thing yet, but the three Mets that those guys played were all pitchers to out of the bullpen. It was Clay Holmes, Luke Weaver and AJ Minter. And I guess AJ Minter and Bob have a long relationship, but Luke Weaver is a great golfer. He is great. And he's got an attitude about him. I didn't know much about his personality, but he's like one of those trash talking in your face hits the ball 320 yards and let you know about it type guy. And that's what you need from someone in the back end of a bullpen. Absolutely. That confidence. That's why, you know, he did have a moment there as the Yankee closer.

Yes. Of course. And it was, it was pretty cool with his personality. Yeah. I mean, so looking ahead, I'm definitely excited about him more so now after seeing, you know, an hour of what he's really like, you know, he was added up that AJ Minter. I didn't see. I didn't see. No, I didn't. I didn't know. I don't think so. Maybe. But he, of course, did they play? I'm not sure, actually, I don't know which one it was. It had to be down there, obviously, on the East Coast of Florida. Yeah. But yeah, fat Perez said that pictures notoriously good golfers because they don't do anything. Man, you're, you're, you're got fat Perez needs to change his name. He's on her fat Perez. He lost 100 over 100 pounds. Yeah. He'll be GLP. And I don't know if he's doing that or not. But come on. I don't know. I mean, he could be a lot of micro dosing going on these days. Yes. People with micro dosing mushrooms, micro dos, GLP, people aren't micro dosing GLP ones. I think so, yeah.

Micro dosing? Yeah. That's what I've been reading a lot about so that you don't lose the weight too quickly. And you kind of do it the right way, if you will, so that the weight doesn't come off too fast. Well, whatever. I mean, it's, it's better that he's doing something if that's what it is as opposed to being over 300 pounds and five, six. I know. I used to be like. And at the changes name, flat paris, I like that. Yeah. Not making Joe look good. No, no, definitely not. His God is now the biggest on the show. Right. All right. Jerry, what do you got for? We're brought to you by Chef IQ Precision Cooking Effortless Results Chef IQ.com. I'll get back to the the baseball and everything in a moment. Yes. Venice Weller on the WBC. We'll have stuff from that coming up in just a moment. But this Gilzerina podcast was all over the place yesterday. And I've got several pieces of audio from you. So this podcast, so I saw the podcast was released yesterday. It's an hour and 50 minutes. I'm not sure if this part is in it or this was an off camera part that they wound up with

someone released it because it's out there. So everything came to a stop basically when Kenyan Martin decided to confront a staffer of the podcast who apparently made a video about him making fun of his speech issue. So we know he's had a stuttering problem his whole life. So I'm going to play all the all this audio. This is the setup. So just to Josiah Johnson is the host. You've got Brandon Jennings there and Nick Young is there. There's someone Gilbert Arinas is there as well. I don't know. He's always there. But he is in this one and there's someone else. But whatever. So here's the setup where Kenyan Martin starts to go in this direction. Something recently was brought to my attention, right, that one of the people that works here, that we see daily and I bought this person into my home, right, I had this person around my wife, my kids, right, treating nothing but respect, right, let's see.

Someone realize that something's coming. So Kenyan Martin makes it clear there's going to be a lesson for everybody. And people tell you, be careful who you bring into your inner circle, be careful who you bring into your home. This is this situation that I'm speaking of right now. Hey, shoot. Come here. Oh, shoot stomach just fell through his ass. I was out before we were talking about these things. Do you think as he started talking about this, sugar is clear with the guy, let's say like, oh, oh, yeah, he's going to be talking about me. Um, here's where so should comes over around the backside of the chair of the couch that he's sitting on and Kenyan Martin shows him the video, I guess, that he made of him. So I need you to do some explaining to me, brother. Can you explain this video to me? All right. So then the guy does acknowledge it. Yeah, that's the video you're talking about. No, we didn't talk about it. Yeah, we did speak about it.

No, you tried to apologize. So. Okay, he says, no, you didn't send me the video. Here's about the apology and he references that Kenyan Martin did not acknowledge it and he tells you why I came in here one day over at Gills House and you walked up to me and tried to apologize like the blue. I blew you off because I didn't know what you were talking about. That's the situation. Yes or no? Yes. Okay. Then it got very personal. He's talking about how I brought you to my house. You meant my wife, my kids told me we were friends. Jerry, I'm just going to stop you for one second because I know you can't play the audio. But yeah, watching this yesterday, what the guy says, someone said, Kenyan Martin's pretty good in that show and he's like, Kenyan Martin, the guy can't even get through a full sentence without stuttering is what you hear on the tape. Right. So I was going to come back to that because Kenyan Martin says it. Okay. I was on the video. But no, no, but right. That's exactly what the video is. So here is where it got very, very personal for Kenyan with this guy. You didn't have no one to go for things to give it. Did I not invite you to my own? Yes. Two years in a row.

Yes. And this is thanks that you get, but that apology is null and void is what you don't understand. And then really starting to make an example of the guy. This is what this loyalty and people don't respect you look like, y'all. People like him. Be careful who you're inviting to your home, who you have around your loved ones and your friends and family. This is what you get. People like this. Now, I'll, I mean, you know, sounds like they're going to fire the guy or can your Martin shoot the body gets fired? Well, yeah. And Jerry will probably play more, but he basically, you know, like, what do you want for me? And he's like, I don't never want to see again in my life. Yeah. So I could just couple more. And they're a little long, but they are what they are. There's Kenyan Martin talking about what a low blow it was and this is why I'm calling you out for this. I have a speech impediment that everybody knows how I feel about this. Right? People that don't have a voice able to speak up for themselves.

This is what this is about. You don't tease something of someone I have no control over. Think it's okay. I don't want to know. Yes. This is, yeah, you did in front of, did you not do it in front of people? Did you not do it in front of people? Did you not do it in front of people is my question, which is why he's doing it publicly on the show. He sounds like he's had a sense of hearing. We're not getting the answer that Kenyan Martin is looking for. Well, this is the one where you hear one of the guys in the background basically tells the guy you might want to get out of here once again, I don't want your apology. So what you want from nothing to don't ever be in my presence ever again. Get your ass out of here right now. Never be in my presence ever again. That's what I want. Yeah. So I'm going to get your ass out of here. I can't stand up. One of the 57 guys. They're on. There's like five guys on the show. Yeah. I miss them. They need to burn a Maxwell. Oh my God. Oh boy. I think I would have made this better. Yeah. I mean, I do have mixed feelings on it because one, I think it's a healthy thing in hanging

out with people to be able to bust balls, but you have to do it to their face. You can't be doing it behind their back a lot. So like, here's the thing, the stuff that we talk about when we're amongst ourselves, generally people know that we feel that way between one another, like in working with Joe and then in the control room with Dove, the things I would say to Dole of making front of Joe, I'd go in and basically do the same thing or I'd do his voice and make fun of him. So I do. Like, I know that people behind the glass have made fun of us and done it, but we've already established this level of respect with one another where we know that if they're frustrated in the moment or want to make fun of us or we want to make fun of them, it's okay. So I guess that Kenyan Martin, and it's also maybe the speech impediment thing is a little bit different, that it really is a sore spot for him, but I mean, this to me was a bit of an overreaction. And he basically said that if this were a couple of years ago, I would have punched him

in the face. I mean, like. So that's the clip here where he says someone said, I thought you were really going to get violent with him. I think what he said, I couldn't quite hear it, but he says, no, I did it the mature way. Long time ago, he would have went a different way. I know. This isn't an adult me. You did it in front of people. You get that same energy from me. That's all. I ain't did nothing to be nice to that man. I feel kind of bad. That's all somebody praising me, somebody like, yo, Kenyan Martin, only bright spot on the show this day and the third and you go out your way to be like, you can't even talk. Ain't nothing okay about it. But by the way, and that clip, he's also slamming the other people on the show. So you guys, this guy said, I'm the only bright spot on the show, which clearly is right. But then you make fun of my speech impediment. I don't know. I think that if I understand source subjects are out there, but this is a young guy who's probably not making a lot of money. Kenyan Martin has made tens of millions of dollars in his life.

It hits him hard. Maybe you talk to the guy away from the show because it is different when someone, you did this in front of people as opposed to broadcasting it out over this podcast. So I don't think it's the same energy. I think it's extra energy, but I don't know, man, there's a guy that we play golf with with a stutter that gets it from everybody, but he's one of our friends. Yeah. But the thing about it is is that you guys don't put it on social media, you know, post the videos. Was this posted somewhere? And I don't think so. Well, it was sent to Kenyan Martin. It was sent to Kenyan Martin or, or I don't know, it just seems like Kenyan Martin is obviously a famous athlete. He's on a show and then all of a sudden he gets this video and where else is this video being shown? Yeah. I don't know. I mean, no one knew about it until it was brought up here. And then like the whole thing about you were in my house with the wife and give me the guy who wasn't, you know, he's not a criminal, you know, it's not like he found out this guy was at a, you know, he's just like for something, but he's certainly insulted Kenyan Martin

who has been dealing with the speech impediment his entire life. Yeah. And now you got to deal with this from some guy that, you know, I guess it's a part of this show in some way, shape of form. Maybe he's a producer or something. I don't know what he actually does for that show. I'm like, I'm going to take this from this guy who I let in my house. And he thinks he has some sort of friendship with me that I'm going to let him get away with this. I guess the equivalent would be, I mean, we're going to have this in been 18 years, but I think it's the equivalent would be you hire someone new and within a couple of years, you find out he's holding court in the newsroom with 15 other people mocking one of you to like harshly that I think that would be the equivalent, you know, that's why I said the first thing I said, there's a level of respect that has to be established. If that was, if that was apparent, that person's head would be in the toilet, right? Like within 15 minutes. Well, this guy's head was in the toilet publicly. Yeah. I mean, actually, in the toilet, you have to have him get out of there.

I won't play it, but the funny part was at the end, they're like, all right, let's go back to the show. The guy's like, what? I'm going to get back to where it's now. So it was pretty very interesting. And that was eight minutes worth that I cut down into, you know, 11 little pieces of audio. But I will, like, for example, there's, there's audio with, you know, we did the, what is it? The two, not two years of soap or the other guy, DJ on go lay, lay, lay, like we play that and you take it and you laugh, whatever, like something like that or, you know, the Dunkin' Moonskins, you said that, we laugh, but like it's, you know what I say? Like we laugh about these things. Like it's not like a, like I don't know, I just, I guess those, that's just like a mistake in the moment. It's not like a thing that you've had your entire life. Maybe that's right. So I guess that would be it. So let's say we don't do that on the air. He's a good sport about it. It's fun. Let's say he's pissed off and he buried that piece of tape. I don't ever want to hear it again. And then he comes out on a break one day. And he's out there with a bunch of salespeople and he's just fire in that audio and they're having a huge laugh. Maybe that would be a comp to it.

Yeah, well, I mean, look, I've learned a long time ago when I sat in this seat with the previous co-host that, you know, he just got a, it's about entertainment, man. You have to be able to laugh at yourself. Right. Now, again, I don't want to say that about Kenya Martin because, you know, speech impediments a little bit different. You know, you have a buddy that's stutters. Yeah. He gets the joke when your guys are around him, but you're not going to go out to dinner and say, hey, my friends, a stutter or something. Look at this. That's true. There's a video, like a video. Right. Yeah. I mean, so I get exactly where Kenya Martin's coming from. That's amazing. Exactly. I don't know, man. Do you like the fact that he did it on the podcast? I kind of do just because I think he really felt such disdain for it. Yeah. Yeah, I see. I don't like it. I don't either. I thought the video was posted somewhere. If the video was posted somewhere, then it all is fair, but if this was something done privately with friends and the video came to his attention, then it should have been done privately.

Even within the group is fine. Yeah. You're saying that the guy that did the video sent the video to Kenya Martin ordered somebody else. No, someone else did. The way I read it. Someone else sent it to me. All right. Well, there you go. But it doesn't mean I had to be posted. It could have been texted. I was saying he said that to somebody else who sent it to Kenyan, that is, no, we don't know that. We don't know that he had the, no, no, no, someone else sent it to him. It doesn't mean that the guy who was making fun of the stutter was recording this. We don't know who was recording it. I have no idea. I don't either. I'm not sure. Yeah. It could have been anybody that had sent it. So yeah, I just, to me, I understand being upset about it. I don't know. I'm just saying that Kenyan Martin received a video and we're going to do it like a 10 minute semantics thing here because I'll stop that right. What did he, did he receive a video from a third person? He didn't say where it came from.

He said someone sent it correct and he said, he come out here and he's like, we want to explain this. He goes, someone sent this to me and he said, we spoke about this video because no, we didn't. You apologized to me about something I didn't know about. Then someone sent me the video and now this is what we're talking about. Yeah. Okay. So I'm on Kenyan Martin's side here then. Understood. Venice Well, it did beat the US 32, they won the WBC, a Johannes Suarez with the go ahead RBI double in the ninth, the US team had literally no offense to speak of other than Bryce Harper who went two for four with a two run homer in the eighth. And so now these players go back to their respective teams Yankees Red Sox at one o'clock today, met with the day off. The season does begin next week. You have the next beating the Pacers, 136 to 110, how about Josh Hartnogian and Obia combined 22 of 26 shooting for 59 points. Hart had 33 and seven rebounds and an Obie went for 26 on the night. Jalen Brunson didn't play, sat it out with the ankle injury management and that what was it called again?

The cervical. Yes, cervical straight. Yeah. Something like that. Indiana's lost 14 in a row. That's home for the Thunder tonight on the fan at 730. The first four began last night with wins from Howard and Texas. You've got prayer review and Lehigh tonight, SMU playing Miami of Ohio. The Broncos acquired. Why do you see for Jalen Waddle from the Dolphins? They give up a first, a third and a fourth round pick. The Eagles signing Holly Wood Brown and I will give you one from the Islanders who they've played really well. The Isles have now won four of five. Their latest coming last night over the Maple Leafs. The Angelo in front, Horvath knocked down Puckstill there, squirt's free, picked up by Barzell. Barzell plays it out for the Angelo, some tired Leafs on the ice, they score. It's Heineman off the seam pass from the Angelo and the Islanders restore the two goalie. And that was Brendan Burke with the call on MS. She made it 3-1, 3-1 was the final as they rent the rest of the way. Relious Sirokin made 26 saves to the Isles now 39, 24 and 5 as mentioned, 4 out of 5, that

they have now won playing very good hockey, you've got the Rangers and the Devils coming up later tonight. All right, boomerangio on the fan and CBS Sports Network. The free Odyssey app is up and running. It was not for a couple of hours, so it's good to hear that we have them back in the break. Boomer was complaining about the DMV again, which I feel like is a low-hanging fruit complaint by you. Above the DMV complaints, like, you know what I mean? Everybody complains about the DMV. It wasn't really complaining about it. Oh, what I was saying is that, you know how Amazon or the shop app or one shopify, Shopify, whatever it is, those apps make it so easy. You can go in there. You can buy something.

And I mean, it's at your door tomorrow, and it basically takes two clicks. Yeah, that's it. When you get into some of these government websites and you start trying to figure out what the hell and where the hell everything is, it is like impossible. Or I'm sorry, we don't show your license, you know, we're under construction. I mean, it's always something. And it just, it's really frustrating. Now the Medicare thing was very easy. Oh, you got that done. That was very easy. Okay. Nice. That was that was easy. And then, of course, the ARP for the supplemental plant, that was very easy. Of course, because they want your business. Yeah. And all those things were very easy. Okay. But it's the DMV. Wow. It's, it's mainly, I don't, there's something about the New York State website. I just, I just, it just doesn't, it's that surprise you that New York state doesn't have that something. And I would say, and I don't, look, I don't care if it's this governor. I don't care if it was Pataki. I don't care if it's any of the governors that, you know, prior to Kathy Hoko, Cuomo, it doesn't matter to me. It's like, they are the CEO of the state.

Yeah. I'll be watching over kind of everything and putting people in place who know what they're doing and should be able to do a job that they are tasked to do. And a lot of times these people can't seem to get their jobs done. It feels like to me. Yeah. Well, I will, I'll give you a couple of things that make me think things are the way they are when it comes to the DMV website. One, you know, I don't think they're making real money on something like this. So the fact that things fall through the cracks or people get annoyed, it's not like the state's losing a bunch of money because you quit halfway through, you didn't want to buy something where as a, an app like Shopify or whatever, you know, if they made it harder, people might not buy that thing or use their process and then all of a sudden their entire business model collapses. What are the sounds? You say they're not making money, but yet you got a real money to pay for it. No, but you know, but, but how much real money is the state making off of the places plates? Yeah, but this, but that, I mean, there's overhead too. I'm going to prison. You're still doing a license plate.

I don't know. It's a good question. I'm not sure. I know they were. I know they were, but you solid workforce, they're going to shut the work every day. Absolutely. You know, they're going to be there. That's a hundred percent. Because I don't have a problem with a license plate. Yeah. I also think no one really wants to work for the government like no, I think they all want to work for the government. What do you mean? Like the smart people in tech want to talk about that. I don't know about that. I mean, you're talking about websites and things like that. Like if you're someone who's good at that stuff, you're not going to go work for New York State. You'd be an idiot. Right? And those people aren't idiots. They're the opposite of idiots. Yeah. Well, does that any of that? Did I mean? Maybe they can do a solid for, you know, for the greater good. How about that, Eddie? No, no one's bad. What it's all about? That's what I'm talking about. I mean, geez. Come on. It's a solid for the greater good. Yeah. No. That'll never happen. Some guy who can make... That's what we need. We need a Mike Bloomberg.

A guy that made so much money that he was, you couldn't buy him, you know, whatever decision he was making, he was trying to make the right decision at the right time and do the right thing. Yeah, I'm holding steady on not getting that real ID until my license expires and I have no choice. Because... Well, you have your passport, right? Yeah. I'll just use my passport. Right. Well, you don't have your TSA precheck. No. That's the most amazing thing. Like I told you, coming back to JFK the other night, you know, I got global entry, I got the passport, I got the TSA precheck, I got every real ID, I got every ID you can possibly imagine. And then I still have to go through after getting my bag, some sort of bag check. I'm like, why am I flying as a known traveler with a known travel number? You got to talk to somebody about that. Well, it was the most ass and eye thing that I had ever seen. Now I understand there's probably reasons for it that I don't know about, but the, just

the inconvenience at midnight with people in wheelchairs and kids screaming. And a woman with a gun who didn't seem to be very happy, so I was not going to push it. Yeah. No, you can't. Can't make a fuss in an airport. You're making a fuss. You're making a fuss yet because like, I have everything I'm supposed to have. Yeah. And I still have to go through the nonsense. Well, maybe they've had some stuff where people were taking other people's bags recently. Maybe that's what it was. Maybe they're supposed to. Now I wasn't that. Bag stealing things. No, no, it's not that. By the way, there were people coming in from other places that were going right out and then for some reason, I guess we were randomly picked for some reason. I have no idea. You know why? Because you can't get an explanation. No, no one knows. Just try to talk to somebody. Why? Just why do we have to do this? Why do I need to have all this identification? Why am I a known traveler or why do I have gold lunch or why do I have all this stuff? And then now, after like nine hour day at the airport, you're going to make me wait

an extra 45 minutes on this line. Yeah. Listen, I know the frustrations, but you can't make a fuss in an airport. I want to explode. Can't make a fuss. I can see the headlines now, boomerah size and TSA agent. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, this is both this is so I'm well through security at the airports and every now. Yeah, I'm past everything. Yeah. And then we have to go through this again. And I put the person workforce. I want to say security could have been border control. I'm not sure she had a uniform on and she was working with another guy there. And, you know, they were just like, don't get this line, get this line. I was in the line and I just went up to the front of the line I said, Why, why are we, And she goes, get back to you down the line. I'm like, whoa, okay, calm down. I'm not a complainant on you today, wow. Wow, DMVs. Yes, border control. Right, man, it's gotta be tough. And I felt bad for all the other people in line too. It's not just me.

Oh, it seems like there was a mom there that had two kids in strollers screaming. And I can totally understand that. Yeah. And that just, and making them wait even longer in line when that mom is just trying to get through and trying to get home to put the babies to bed. I mean, come on. You know, I saw an all-time tantrum in the airport, which is, I mean, I spent 12 hours, over 12 hours in the airport. So the chances of me seeing that, this all-time toddler tantrum where there was a guttural sound coming out of this little girl. I did not think was possible. And it got to the point where the guy I was with goes, I'm scared. Like I am scared. You're whew. How old the other kid was? Four or five? Wow. Whew! I mean, that's part of the collateral damage of having all the weather-related issues with all the airlines.

But it goes, you know what's gonna happen. Are you gonna have that plane and demon kids gonna be sitting right next to me? You know. A 19-C? Oh, a 19-B? Whew! But as a parent, traveling with children. It's impossible. You feel bad for the parents. I do. I do. I absolutely do. It's the worst thing in the world when you think everybody's staring at you. But, you know. And this is why I was saying this thing that happened to me. Yeah. Yeah, construction booming. Yeah, construction booming. Yeah, construction booming. All right. So what happened, yeah, I was inconvenienced, but not this family, this mom. I gotta say that my kids traveled tremendously well. They did so much better than I even expected.
