Hot Water Assault at Strabane Court: Man Charged

0:00On April 17th, a wild incident went down as Straybane magistrates court in County Tyrone on Thursday when someone threw hot water on another man right. There in the building, the victim ended up in the hospital with burns to his face and upper body, getting treated for those nasty injuries. Police moved fast, arresting a 34-year-old man that same day on suspicion of assault, causing actual bodily harm, attempt to grieve his bodily, harm with intent, and having an offensive weapon ready to use. By Friday, they charged him with attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, assault-causing actual bodily harm, and possession of an offensive weapon, meant for a serious crime. He set to show up in Dungan and magistrates court tomorrow, and as always, the public prosecution service will review those charges before anything. Sticks.
