Hopes New Shannon Respite Facility Could Be Functional Within 18 Months
About this episode
It's hoped a newly approved adult respite facility in Shannon could be operating within the next 18 months. Corlann, formerly, the Brothers of Charity has been granted permission for a full-time intellectual disability respite centre at Gleann-na-Smól. The development will involve the demolition of the existing property. Shannon Fine Gael Councillor Tony Mulcahy believe the former owners of the residence would be delighted about its new purpose.
