Homicide Ruled in Wimauma Child's Death

The Hillsboro County Sheriff's Office has ruled the death of a four-year-old child and women mama Florida, a homicide. This tragic incident happened last month on February 20th when deputies recalled to a home on the 2500 block of tea time road. Shortly before 3.30 pm, first responders found the child unresponsive with injuries to the upper body. The young child was pronounced dead soon after. Sheriff Chad Chronister called it, a heartbreaking case, and said detectives are working hard to piece together what went wrong. He stressed that they will hold anyone responsible fully accountable. The Hillsboro County Medical Zamers Office made the final call on the homicide ruling after reviewing the evidence.
