0:00Police in Halton are linking a brutal home invasion in Burlington to an attempted break-in in Oakville, both by the same crew of five suspects early on April 22nd. The action started in Oakville's Royal Windsor Drive and Four Drive area between 2.45 AM and 3.10 AM, where the group tried to. Force their way in, but bailed without getting inside. By 3.30 AM to 4.10 AM, they rode into Burlington's New Street and Ross Moore Boulevard neighborhood, smashed in, confronted the, residents, and demanded valuables. Things turned physical fast. A resident took a hit to the head with some object and needed medical care, but the suspects grabbed nothing and fled, as 911 got called.
