About this episode
In 1992, 11-year-old Holly Staker was babysitting for two small children when she was brutally murdered. Holly was a beautiful bright girl who was deeply loved by her parents, her twin sister Heather and her two young siblings.
Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss this heartbreaking and puzzling case. Police were able to get a conviction from a man named Juan Rivera but the tactics used in getting that conviction came under fire over the years. The details of Holly's murder were gruesome and the trials for Juan Rivera were numerous. Did the police have the right killer all along or did they let the real killer go because they locked in on Rivera?
