Holiday makers on the first fights out of Abu Dhabi since the weekend have shared scary stories from the Iran Gulf conflict. Thousands of fights got canceled across the Middle East, stranding hundreds of thousands of passengers. The UK is now putting together evacuation plans for about 300,000 British people in the region. One early flight, Eddie had 067, touched down a heap row just after 7pm on Monday. Passengers describe hearing explosions and seeing missiles overhead from their hotels. Families with 19-year-olds on stopovers called it petrifying and surreal, with black ash even falling during breakfast. Damachit harder and Dubai, including the Jebel Ali port and Burj al-Arab with at least three people killed in the UAE. Airspace over Iran, Iraq, and several Gulf states remains mostly shut down. Meanwhile, thousands of Brits are still stuck with no firm word on rescues. Some praise the airlines for quick organization, though government helped drew mixed reviews.
