History Matters: Saint Patrick, Mister Rogers, and Sergeant Stubby

This week in history: Scott and Aaron remember St. Patrick and Mr. Rogers – as well as a dog who became celebrated as a World War I hero. Also: Johnny Appleseed spreads fruit (and liquor) across America; and Great Britain repeals the Stamp Act in 1766 – but the U.S. imposes its own stamp tax later, to help protect migratory birds.
