A hundred-year-old building smack in the middle of Fort Worth's booming stockyards is hitting the market again. We're talking 2629 North Main Street, the old Los Bacarols restaurant spot, right across from Billy Bob's Texas, that prime real. A state couldn't be better. If first went up for sale back in 2024, then got snapped up in September 2025 by accruive investors, including the folks. Behind Kentucky's horse soldier bourbon and their urban stillhouse outfit, they teamed up with McIvin Hospitality for big plans, a hotel, restaurant, and tasting room. But those dreams hit a wall, with a group eyeing demolition on this historic gym. Agent Don Griner, from SRS Real Estate Partners, says they pulled the plug on that risk and listed it instead, saving the structure for now. The stockyards are leveling up big time, thanks to spots like Newell Alley packing in luxury hotels, upscale shops and eateries, shifting from pure, party zone to something
fancier, while Billy Bob's keeps the music pumping nearby. Word is, it'll land with buyers eyeing hotel or hospitality vibes, like a fresh restaurant or a vent space, keeping that stockyards energy alive and evolving.
