Historian Anna Keay to Write Queen Elizabeth's Biography

0:00On April 18th, historian Anna Kee just got tapped as the official biographer for Queen Elizabeth II. The 51-year-old will get full access to the Royal Archives, including the late Queen's personal and official papers. Reports last week in said King Charles specifically wanted a female author for this big task and talks with Kee sealed the deal. Kee's no stranger to royal history. She spent seven years as assistant curator for historic royal palaces, handling spots like Hampton Court and the... Tower of London. She's also pinned books on the British monarchy and holds trusty spots on the Royal Collection Trust plus the Queen Elizabeth Memorial Committee. Kee called it a profound honor, vowing to honor the longest reigning monarch's life through a century of massive shifts and she'll chat with family, friends and staff to make it real.
