Hisense Babysense Max View Monitor Recalled for Fire Hazard

0:00On March 3rd, here's the latest out of Tampa Bay. The Consumer Product Safety Commission recently recalled around 81,800 baby cents, max-view baby monitors over potential. Fire hazard, the issue affects the parent display unit, model number VBM-55, which can overheat or spark during charging. Hicense Limited makes these devices, and they sold for $90 to $180 on sites like Amazon, Walmart, and Babelist from January. 2023 through December 2025. So far, there have been a lot of reports of problems with the display units, but thankfully no injuries or fires reported.
