About this episode
On this episode I had the please of speaking with Richmond Alake. Richmond is a Computer Vision Engineer based in London. He has a MSc in Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Space Robotics. Richmond believes in sharing of knowledge, and you can find some of his Machine Learning based articles on Medium where he's been a top writer in Artificial Intelligence for the majority of 2020. When he isn't working on deep learning or writing articles, Richmond spends his time exploring new technologies and side projects, one of which is Moretion, a smartwatch app that can track the proximity between your hand and face, and sends alert when your hand is touching your face, an application created for maintaining cautiousness in the COVID era. In this episode we will talk about his unique masters degree, how he went from a full stack developer to a data scientist, and how he builds incredible projects in his free time.
