Montague submits that space is important because it brings humanity together behind a single mission - to become a space faring species. It helps us put aside the age old us vs. them tribalism and warring that has marred humanity for milenia. The ISS is a great example. 

China is building a space station. They launched the first module on April 29, 2021. Will this help or hurt humanity? The first of 11 missions necessary to complete, supply and crew the station by the end of next year.
