Heroes Honored: Avon & Somerset Police Awards

0:00On April 1st, on Friday, March 13th, Avon and Somerset Police held their quarterly force awards at headquarters, bringing together officers, staff, families, and community members to celebrate acts of extraordinary courage and community impact. Two standout officers, Police Constable Georgihor and Police Constable Chris Isaacs, received Royal Humane Society Awards for their quick thinking, an empathy and rescuing a vulnerable person from a dangerous crisis, a verdict what could have been a disaster. Meanwhile, Police Constable Patrick Brady earned a chief Constable commendation for his relentless work securing a five-year slavery and trafficking. Prevention risk order against two offenders praying on vulnerable children, one of only five such orders in the force since 2015. A member of the public, Theo De Leon Vian, picked up the Waley Cohen Award for his bravery in May of 2025 when he flagged down.
