Headlines: H5 bird flu spreads to 4th state

Today's headlines include: 

• Inflation is increasing at the slowest rate since February, according to new data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
• Officials have confirmed the deadly H5 bird flu strain has reached a fourth state, after a migratory seabird washed ashore north of Brisbane.
• At least 13 people are dead after a 7.1-magnitude earthquake hit Japan’s southern island of Kyushu.
• And today’s good news: Australian sprinters Lachie Kennedy and Torrie Lewis both broke 100m national records with medal-winning performances at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow overnight.
