• Three National senators have resigned from Opposition Leader Sussan Ley's front bench, after a split from the Liberal Party over the hate speech bill the Government brought to Parliament following the Bondi terrorist attack.
• A Canadian teenager has been identified as the person who died on K’gari in Queensland earlier this week.
• A 60-year-old man has been charged after allegedly being caught with child abuse material when he touched down in Australia following a trip to South East Asia.
• And today’s good news! A team of Austrian scientists have announced that cows can develop the ability to use tools.
