He Wrote A Book About Killing Tupac; Today He Goes On Trial For Murder
About this episode
The trial of former gang leader, 63-year-old Duane Keith Davis begins today, three decades after the 1996 shooting death of rap icon Tupac Shakur. Davis isn’t accused of being the triggerman that night on the Vegas strip, but he’s accused of supplying the gun and orchestrating the killing. Davis has pleaded not guilty to first degree murder, but it was Davis’ own 2019 memoir and his public comments afterwards which detailed his role in the killing that landed him behind bars and on trial for his life.
