Today is Poetry Prose Friday on the Happy Thoughts podcast.

Spring is in the air…kind of. It’s cold, but the daffodils are making a magnificent display. So I think you can guess what today’s poem is. It’s by William Wordsworth, ‘I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud’. It was originally published in 1807.

He was inspired by the beautiful belt of daffodils that he saw whilst on a walk with his sister Dorothy.

So grab a cup of tea or your favourite beverage and relax for a few moments with this wonderful ode to nature’s beauty!
