Happy Labor Day 2020

About this episode

Send us Fan Mail

Welcome to episode #51. Wishing you and everyone who is important to you a very happy Labor Day! I hope that you had a chance to get away this holiday weekend. Possibly go somewhere and visit with family/friends. Simply breaking our normal routine and getting a "change of scenery" can really help us many ways.

One way I benefit from a "mini-break" is it gives me a chance to rest and  an opportunity to think clearly about how to proceed. Taking a short vacation gets me OUT of my normal routine and that ALWAYS helps me. If you study wealthy people, you will find that they often take 3 to 4 mini-vacations each year!! What is YOUR next move in life?

We celebrate workers on Labor Day. And we celebrate your hard work in providing for yourself and/or your family. Working hard helps to make our economy strong. So be grateful and thankful for what you have already accomplished.

Labor Day, for me, is always a time when I can take some time to watch US Open Tennis. I am a casual fan. But I really admire tennis players in general and I enjoy watching the US Open. Every Labor Day, my family and I always watch some great tennis being played!

Small progress, done consistently, can add up to huge gains. There is a compounding effect attached to working consistently. I do a quick review of domain names and web hosting in this episode.

Simply trying DOES count for much. There is a wonderful quote by Theodore Roosevelt  that starts, "It is not the critic who counts...there is no effort without error." What was he saying? He was saying GO TRY and don't care IF you FAIL or not. But keep trying!

It's nice to have options in life. Building your digital footprint and using your internet connection to increase your income will give you options! Building wealth gives people options. And in life, it's always nice to have options! Happy Labor Day!

I'm not a financial advisor. This podcast is for education/entertainment purposes only. You will need to do your own research and accept responsibility for the results of any money you choose to invest. I love using Schwab.com to buy/sell stocks/ETF's/closed end funds/options. Schwab has a very user friendly app/website and their customer service is excellent. I can easily get to speak to a human being whenever I have questions.
