Those over the top Austrian bodybuilder brothers were all about pumping iron and roasting the week. The bit got so huge they wrote a full movie script around it. They teamed up with Robert Smigel and Conan O'Brien to craft the story, hammering it out on a laptop in a Santa Monica hotel back when Conan was on. The Simpsons Funny stories came out of it, like chicken grease smearing the screen from late-mind sessions. The sketch even had Arnold Schwarzenegger drop in as their idol in October 1991. Arnold was down to co-producing co-star in the film, but with six other movies cooking, he passed the parody himself elsewhere instead.
