That's the maximum allowed under their labor deal for acting as the aggressor against Buffalo Saipers' defenseman, Rasmus Dallan. The clash happened during a game in Buffalo on Sunday March 8th. It was NHL game number one thousand three between the two teams. At 3.30 in the second period, things got heated on the ice. Hagel ended up with two minor penalties for roughing. The lead's department of player safety announced the penalty today. No suspension was handed out, just the fine.
