The number of job listings rose 0.1% in August to 4.96 million from 4.95 million in July. This suggests the underlying labor data demand in the U.S. remains steady alongside seasonal recruitment adjustments. Brought industry job gains, industries that saw an increase in postings include wholesale trade, construction and real estate and rental leasing.
