Right away, they spotted a suspicious red or maroon 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, tailing them. That SUV had Kansas plates reading 9103 ACY. The pursuit headed north on Roa Avenue and ended in a crash near West 87th Street by Franklin Park. The passenger took a bullet and ended up in the hospital while the driver suffered non-life threatening injuries from the wreck. Investigators recovered shell casings, showing the suspect fired repeatedly near 99th in Roa, then 91st in Roa, and finally around the park.
