Gun buy back program, 'Hands off Greenland' protests, Drift logs threatening ocean species, and more

The federal government has unveiled the next steps in its national gun buyback program. Since 2020, Ottawa has banned about 2,500 models of what it calls "assault-style" firearms, offering Canadians compensation to hand them in. But the program is under fire from some gun owners, and not all parts of the country are co-operating.
