Mayor of the Town is a radio comedy-drama in the United States aired From September 6, 1942, to July 3, 1949 on ABC, CBS, Mutual and NBC. The show starred actor Lionel Barrymore as the mayor of the fictional town of Springdale. Agnes Moorehead was the voice of his housekeeper Marilly. The stories would circle around the special relationship the Mayor shared with Butch.
