Greythorn Girls Dominate Primary Stars Cup

0:00On April 17th, girls from Greythorn Primary School just dominated the premier league primary stars under 11 girls' cup, taking down 8 teams, from Nottingham City and Nottingham Shire. They sealed the deal in the final with a convincing 5-0 win over Chetwin Spencer Academy. The match went down in rough weather, but both squads showed real heart and hustle on the field. Deputy head teacher Sarah Cox couldn't hide her pride, saying most of the girls notched at least one goal, and they rotated keepers like pros. She gave big props to coaches Tom Bingley and Chris Marks for building that unbeatable team spirit. This marks the second Shire year they've claimed the district title, and they pulled off a clean sheet in every game they played. Now these champs head to the regional round in Chesterfield on March 6th, repping Notts County and their foundation. Keep shining, ladies.
