Mark Rowley, the head of the Metropolitan Police, wrote to Polanski, calling the post inaccurate and saying it hurt public trust in his officers. Rowley praised the team's work, saying without it, things could have turned way worse. On Friday afternoon, Polanski owned up admitting leaders need to cool tensions, and that social media ain't the spot for critiquing police responses.
