Greater Manchester Elections: Vote Power Surge

0:00On April 19th, greater Manchester's local elections on May 7th are shaking up like never before, with folks now picking from four or five parties. In most spots, and up to seven candidates per ward, that's a jump from the usual two or three options, giving voters real power to switch things up. Reform UK and the Greens are behind the surge, fielding candidates in nearly every single ward across the region, way more than last year in 20. 24. Take Rochdale, candidate shot from 92 to 120.
